So amazing! I’m taking a filmmaking course and I’m completely obsessed 🤩 It’s so much more than I expected! I believe I found my passion:) Thank you for explaining so well!
Good job, I know you had to be selective on the shots you show, but I think 2 basic shots you might have included are, the insert & cutaway shots, Thanks Dave J
Dirty and clean shots is something that confused me in the beginning because technically an OTS is a dirty single shot but a dirty single shot is not necessarily an OTS. An OTS is also technically a two shot, but you can get a clean two shot. Or a dirty two shot using another object as foreground. After some time and experience, you learn the practical differences but as somebody self-taught looking it up online, it took a while for me to get it 😂
Great stuff, just one question... why did you choose to shoot/edit your talking head in 4x3? I assumed it was a personal preference but I was just wondering what appeal is there because that would not have been my personal preference haha...
Well done explaining, I wish you could do a video on how to express story and emotions using different shots particularly in some order or arrangement...I hope you read it
well hello there 1980s Nicolas Cage, just droppin by to thank u for the vid, despite knowing I may not be making films any time soon since I didn't study it (although I love it to death) aaaand also say that simply starting with Man From Nowhere as an example just made me a fan of yours for life. thanks.
the nail polish is throwing me off lol I really like wide shots its interesting how even some of the closeups looked like they were on a somewhat wide angle lens good info

Wow cinematography thought by Nickel back

Good video. But bro don't use white transition. It's too flashy
Was this useful.
Great content, but square videos makes me so uncomfortable

That constant hand movement with the nail polish especially is so distracting..
What happened to your nails?😢 That's not cool bro... Or sis
I don’t get why that’s not cool? They look hella good.
Back to the annoying videos I see.
Can’t make everyone happy 😊
