These are the 20 candidates on the election of the Top 10 Best Motorcycles of 2023.
This election took place between 05/01/2024 and 19/01/2024.

I found myself working in an area hit by a hurricane for the last five weeks. Sleeping in a tent and without communication I missed this event, but as a human and professional experience it has no comparison. Today I went out on my motorcycle to ride in a nearby city, about 60 kilometers on a road with beautiful undulations through the hills, feeling the cold air, but full of happiness for doing something that I like so much. The year begins and the responsibilities, the family, the things we like to do. Receive a big hug and thank you for this new election, more and new motorcycles will come to admire and analyze. My favorite is 18 - Honda CX 500 by Classic Way Atelier... And... the model in this video is the best ever!

We have a Custom Cafe group here in Los Angeles. We ride together regularly. Cafe Racer bikes do require some custom work - and its a labor of love. I personally ride 2016 HD Sportster Roadster - no abs, barebone model - that is cafe'd up. I can recommend a few bikes that are the best base for custom Cafe - easy to work on, and plenty of parts available. (Customization budget is about $1000~1500 at the most if you do it right - assuming that you are doing it yourself, and you should). So this list is for bikers who can work on it themselves at home.
1). Yamaha Bolt series (R Spec is good but C spec if you are lucky) - This is my number 1 choice for everyone who is entering the Cafe Racer world. Easy to work on, parts are available for cheap, ABSOLUTELY RELIABLE. Performance upgrade is very easy as well. Many parts are compatible with Harley as well.
2). Honda CB series (along with Kawasaki & Suzuki upright model...such as Z900RS /W series or GS) - Need I say more? Any year model is highly recommended - tons of aftermarket parts available. Easy to work on. If you've done it properly, chances are the bike will outlive you.
3). Ducati or Moto Guzzi - Ducati (pre-2007 models only...monster or sport 1000 / 900sc etc) is difficult to work on and hard to find parts...Moto Guzzi V series is easy to work on BUT also hard to find parts - you need to find lots of custom parts to make it look good. Make sure you pre-plan before going this route, so choose your adventure carefully, it will be a long journey but absolutely worth the effort and work! However, do prepare to spend some money (Or you can just go with Ducati Scramblers...but why not just go with Kawasaki Z900RS then?)
4). Harley Davidson Sportster (Roadster especially) and Triumph models - Evo VTwins are masterfully reliable. Very easy to customize, and work on. Do watch out for air filter mods (oil flush back leaks), but worth the effort and you will have the most fun working on it. Takes a quite a bit of work to tune it right. BUT NOTE THAT GOOD PARTS ARE NOT CHEAP for HD models - you get what you pay for. For Cafe design, Sportster is "meh..." unless its the Roadster model. FYI, its quite heavy too...but it probably has the best sound in the group. Triumph are a bit less pricy than HD models - and they are fantastic base to start off with. Triumph really does not need further mods to be Cafe. :D
5). BMW R Nine series (new ones) - Parts are ridiculously expensive. Not worth the effort. Problem with newer BMW is that you need warranty, but if you custom it up, you VOID the warranty - you have to get the factory kit to do it at the dealer. That was a deal breaker for me. Older models are pretty good however, very difficult to find parts. I've seen R90 series Cafe'd up as well - but they are expensive are rare!
These days other low budget options are coming from Royal Enfield or CF Moto etc. So hopefully more folks will get involved in this fun hobby.
Once again an amazing selection of bikes with some very innovative ideas and designs.
I have picked my "Winner" and a runner up. I must admit my chosen winner I called 9 months ago when it was originally featured, and others have come close and have very much impressed me with their ways of getting round time honoured questions especially with battery placement!
All of the bikes have a WOW factor and their builders must be praised.
And Yes Racer TV you WILL see me on the next video (as always)!

What happened to the old voice? It is a little bit different.

Which means you have very good hearing.
Yes, I tried an A.I. upgrade on the old voice. It is still the same voice, but with an emotional tone. It is still not perfect, and i am still working on some issues. Next time, I will try to lower the general tone to get it more identical to the usual voice. But just by curiosity, what is your opinion about this new voice version? It is always important to know the Fans opinion. :) Cheers.

@@RACER_TV amigos, para ser honesto com você, a diferença não é enorme. Encontramos esse tipo de som metálico (ou mecânico) que dá um caráter que se encailha muito bem com sua corrente. Só o «welcome to racerTv» me incomoda um pouco... é menos melodioso ao meu ouvido. Mas nada muito sério. Se você gosta, eu também gosto! :)

Unfortunately, it is very rare to find a top quality project based on a 2 stroke motorcycle. That's why this year there are no 2-stroke motorcycles in this election. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
