      @@spiritualak5147that was probably me lol. J/k idk man but I started playing Samus in mid 2021 and am now very formidable with her both offline and wifi. I’ve won quite a few locals and currently sit in the 14,1 mil gsp. I can’t truly say that videos and guides really helped me out especially reverse b and wave bouncing. They are the stable of my game as I am more of an in fighter with samus than the typical hit n run. I know this is a bit old but hopefully by now you learned samus good. She is super fun to play. Learning and maining Samus to learn how she plays and were she struggles the most in order to win over her, she has been a very difficult match for the high majority of the cast and I can say she is quiet easy to use and proyectile wins neutral from the start😅.

    • @Wildcard-166
      @Wildcard-166  Рік тому +1

      Fast falling her aerials and not using bombs in neutral will naturally speed up your movementz
      Homing rocket is good for sniffing out bad approaches or for forcing opponents into options off stage
      Heavy missile can be a confirm into certain options otherwise it’s just good shield pressure for the most part

    Great guide! I've been playing Samus for a solid year now but can't manage to get the Dthrow - nair to be true. Do you know the optimal percents for that to be true?

    • @Wildcard-166
      @Wildcard-166  Рік тому +1

      Down throw nair is typically true from 0-15% depend on the character, like how the fall and size. You need to buffer the dash, so what I do is just as samus slams them to the ground I tap forward twice. Also if you are finding people are DI’ing it well you can try to either RAR bair them instead or if you know that airdodge just shoot a charge shot at them

    • @Wildcard-166
      @Wildcard-166  Рік тому +1

    I like that you generally explain, that there are certain openings that you want to create at certain %. Newer players mostly have a problem changing their playstyle up when other openings are needed. But theres quite a lot of misinformation/lack of information in the video. For example: The combo % are quite off. Usually when people use DI Out and doublejump or airdodge at 30% you wont be able to combo anymore (especially with NAir). Also DThrow UAir really loses out to SDI UP where you cant follow up anymore after one UAir. So you basicalle want to go for DThrow USmash or FAir at nontumble % to do more dmg + get a better position (without rage its 0-3% for midweights) - though this should only be done if the opponent knows the proper SDI.
    All in all i like what you're trying to do with the video, but i feel you could be a bit more precise/do more research

    • @Wildcard-166
      @Wildcard-166  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for the input toxic! This video was meant to be more an eye opener for newer samus players or for samus players who don’t know what to look for in certain situations. I may make a follow up video with exact percentages/Di/SDI situations.

    do u know how to do the super charge shot cancel animation like how do the player called Sisqui

    bless my sir Fen and thx for your guide

    • @Wildcard-166

      when you say charge shot cancel, do you mean when he cuts the animation of the charge shot to bait an option? if so you can cancel charge shot by jumping or airdodging in the air and on the ground you can tap the shield button to cancel it as well

  • @Tetsusaiga25

    Any advice on how to better combo d-throw into n-air? I can get it consistently in training, but not when opponents di. The way I interpret how to perform it is to d-throw, buffer dash into rising nair (short hop aerial macro). Is this correct?

    • @Wildcard-166
      @Wildcard-166  4 місяці тому

      That is unfortunately subject to some characters size and DI, if your opponent has shown he likes to go for that option. I like to just wait the airdodge out and hit them with a charge shot. Even a mid sized charge shot and combo into another grab

    • @Tetsusaiga25
      @Tetsusaiga25 4 місяці тому +1

      Got it, thanks! I think it's kind of frustrating because I feel like I can't get it even on larger characters and that d-throw into fair is a much more consistent option for me.@@Wildcard-166

    • @Wildcard-166
      @Wildcard-166  4 місяці тому

      @@Tetsusaiga25It could just be a timing thing, if you execution is good, might be worth learning D-throw, RAR-Bair. That's very consistent, even on smaller characters

    I can’t seem to grab off of charge shot

    • @Wildcard-166
      @Wildcard-166  9 місяців тому

      It will depend on 3 things:
      1) the charge shot percent in relation to opponents percent. Aim for a half charged at earlier percents and just under half charge for later.
      2) distance from the opponent. Try to be just outside of grab range and move forward with the charge shot, it lets you action on hit quicker.
      3) Standing grab vs dash grab. Dash grab has a few more frames of lag so make sure you’re going for a standing grab
      Hope that helps
