You have such a wonderful variety of crocks! I love the textures and colors! I have a few and love using them. Thank you for sharing. You have a lovely home. Always love being invited in.
Hey Cami, I love your croc and pottery collections throughout your home. You may have begun a new yet old fad. You have a beautiful home. Have you shown your master bedroom?
Thank you so much Tabbie! We are working on our master bedroom as we speak! Hubs is making the bed today, and I can't wait. We finished all the kids rooms before ours and I am most anxious to have my vision come to life. I"ll be sharing it all!
Hi! Chrissy from vermont here. Just yesterday I took all my Reverware stainless pots with copper bottoms and cleaned them! So out of all the recommended youtube hacks, Bar keepers Secret rub did the best! Some of them there was food baked on them that would not come off! Black. So, I took my hand sander to them and got all that black off and then shined with the barkeepers secret. You have to do those pots on the kitchen wall! They will be stunning! Thanks for the inspiration with the pottery, I seem to be collecting some! Have you ever hid something in a crock and forgot which one LOL
Thank you for this video. I to collect pottery, but you also gave me more inspiration to declutter other items and use my pottery not only for decorating but for useful purposes as well. I just happened to buy a small stoneware crock with a light blue interior. Perfect for my bedside table to collect my chapsticks, hair ties etc. I’m now in decluttering mode to keep only what is useful and decorative use. Since we downsized to my husbands family home on the lake there’s not a ton of storage or places to display a lot of stuff. Thank you for inspiration!
I have my own collection it started after my mom died, she had a big crock piece that she used for pickling. Now I have an assortment of big and small pieces. Thank you for all these ideas that I can use. Pray you feel better soon.
I have a few crockery pieces and I like them sparingly. I have one for kindling by the fireplace . I guess I enjoy more colorful pieces, also milk glass. I can appreciate yours, though. They definitely go with your style.
All things in moderation (wink). I love the idea of putting one by the fireplace for kindling! Someday I might venture into more color . . . I'm feeling the itch! Always appreciate your kind words Cynthia.
This is one of my favorite videos you have shared. I have a collection of pottery throughout my home as well. Mine are mostly from thrift stores. Raku pottery from the Southwest Indians, Mexican pieces, and Italian jugs. Most are displayed for decoration on shelves. Thank you for sharing your collection with us! It’s a nice reminder that they CAN be functional as well.
Oh my Terri! That was so kind of you to say! Especially since I made it on a bit of a whim and thought no one would care! I've got a lot of mine thrifting too. Goodness, I'd love to see your collection in person! Thank you so much for your sweet words today!
I have a small Pottery collection that belonged to my mother that I inherited when she passed. I've picked up pieces throughout the years, but I'm concerned now that I've learned there's lead in the glaze. I'm thinking of using some type of spray sealant. What do you think about this as far as what it may or may not do to the piece?
