The landmark Er Qi (February 7th) tower and Er Qi square is in memory of the Great Strike of Beijing-Wuhan railroad workers in 1923 Feb 7th. Zhengzhou’s development is relatively young in China, it gained importance since Beijing-Wuhan railway pass here then it became a railroad hub. Traditionally the important cities in Henan are along Yellow river bank. Henan is the heartland of the Middle Kingdom, there are a lot of historical cities, ruins, relics and great museums!

Welcome to my hometown! Since you're in Henan, I recommend you to go to Xuchang or Xinxiang where they have a supermarket chain called PangDongLai. It is very famous and a really special experience! It was also in the news recently for giving its employees 10 days of "sad leave" a year haha
I highly recommend you two to come to Tibet for a visit(not just Lahsa but also other natural scenic spots),though you may need some extra preparations like a special permission and a guide.I take a self-driving road trip around the Ali region(a district of Tibet) during this national day holiday.The natural scenery is so stunning and breathtaking,and you will hardly see "people mountain people sea" in these places.I can say that most of the time,you just park your car along the road,and you can enjoy the heavenly nature exclusively without being disturbed by others.
Clean, safe, fast and efficient transportation, delicious and affordable food, every type of scenery imaginable, and friendly people. That would have to be China. I can see why the envious Wests would want to demonize China for being too good to its people and making the Wests lose its face for failing to live up to its supposedly superior economy. If you are visiting for the first time, then it is recommended to start with big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, after that，if you have extra time, go to Hangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, and other big cities that are developing, ps: The western Sichuan Plateau in November is very beautiful!

It seems that you loves history and nature much more than citywalk, then I think Beijing, Xi'an and Chengdu should be suitable for you, these three cities have their own unique scenery, but also extremely important in the history of China, in these three cities have a lot of cultural relics and ancient buildings to tell the history of China. And the food in these three cities also has its own characteristics. I checked and found that the first snow in Beijing and Xi'an in recent years has occurred in late November or early December, while Chengdu usually does not snow. So if you're coming in early November, you won't see snow.

There is a city next to it called Luoyang, which is one of the ancient capitals of China. It has the famous scenic spot Longmen Grottoes. There is also a city called Kaifeng, which is also one of the ancient capitals of China. It is home to the famous Chinese scenic spot Qingming Riverside Garden.
