The precision and accuracy of your subtitles is amazing. You captured every syllable spoken in such a humorous way. Worked really well with this story that had you two talking back-and-forth so often. Kiwi's round-about warning system should be standard equipment on all vehicles.
Dang, this video has convinced me to never attempt to drive in the UK as a right side of the road driver! Those roundabouts and the tight roads with parked cars was frightening!
Why does this make me so happy, yes it is similar but there are far more speed cameras in the UK and you cannot go over the line on a red light like they do here in Japan. I am not looking forward to driving in the UK again when I go back and got to drive manual again. I think most japanese people would lose their license very fast in the UK due to points for speeding and running red lights. Also, I am still salty I have to use the new driver magnet here in Japan even though had my license for 6 years
We enjoyed having a P plate even if it was probably very laughable 😅 somehow it feels safer even if it's a false sense of security haha. I don't think I'm ready to take mine off in Japan yet either 🙈. We were so paranoid about our speed I felt like I was looking at the dashboard more than the road, so I'm not sure how safe the cameras actually make our roads lol.
@@OshareJapan I cannot wait to get my new driver off my car, counting down to March. I am going to be driving in the UK this Christmas and getting P plates. Especially as driving manual and could roll. I am just nervous I will get points or stuff as so used to driving in japan now
be careful in driving in the UK. list of world's craziest drivers features countries such as Italy , Iran and Turkey in the top 5, but statistically Uk drivers are more likely to drink and drive which considerably ups the chances of a collision resulting in serious injuries. their incidents of road rage are also in the top ten in the OECD
I feel the wide roads comment tbh, but I still prefer the smaller roads, side paths and the many secrets you can find in a neighborhood in Japan. Yes, even if I will struggle sometimes with a car haha.
I've been driving for 18 years and dual Lane roundabouts still freak me out lol 😆 It's likely you have nothing to worry about, but I still would be careful about showing homefronts and how to get to home so to speak. And y'all were talking about Scotland? 👀
Dual carriage + roundabouts + Brits with road rage = not a good time haha We were originally planning a Scotland trip, but the weather was typically British so we decided against it 😅.. next time! And thank you for the concern! ❤️
At least driving on the same side of the road makes it easier to acclimatise. I'm sure that UK drivers are far more aggressive/assertive than drivers in Japan though.
Yep 😅 I was sitting on a provisional license forever, took the theory test and everything, just never actually needed a car for daily life, so by the time I went to uni and then left the country, I was stupidly license-less 🙈

Hehe thank you! I'll get onto Google about becoming their next Maps robot 😆
Yours is the only information channel I have for news of the outside world and trust implicitly outside of my wood cabin
イギリスは、右ハンドル、左側通行だから、まだ馴染みやすいかもね😆アメリカは、左ハンドル、右側通行だったから、本当に恐かった😅

Looking forward to seeing your adventures. Congrats!
Thank you so much! 😊
Excellent job to you both!
Next step - magic roundabouts at Hemel Hempstead. My wife took me here - it was crazy
Omg an inspired, yet terrifying idea! 😂
have to admit I was a bit nervous at the bigger round a bout. Well done!

True! There's always some kind of adventure to be had 😆

You can drive in the Great Britain with a driving license from Japan, Miss Kiwi.
What could happen?
At least driving on the same side of the road makes it easier to acclimatise. I'm sure that UK drivers are far more aggressive/assertive than drivers in Japan though.
We are truly thankful 😆. And yep.. there's a lot more casual horn usage for sure (though thankfully mostly not directed at us haha)
Will you guys attempt a Spartan race on returning to Japan too?
I feel like our days of sedentary vanlife travel has not prepared us for this year 😅😂
Drive safely. Ja neeeee
Arigatogozaimasu!! Ja neeee! 👋
参りましたね、国が違えばルールがめちゃ恐怖気を付けて楽しんで下さいじゃね〜またの動画を楽しみたいと思います。
You left the UK before you had the chance to get a driver’s license there?
Yep 😅 I was sitting on a provisional license forever, took the theory test and everything, just never actually needed a car for daily life, so by the time I went to uni and then left the country, I was stupidly license-less 🙈
左側通行、右ハンドルは同じでもマナーのレベルは多少違うし、差も有るし気を付けて下さい。道は日本よりも広いのが助かるでしょうね👍
Do you have any plan to trip other country like thailand, malaysia, philipines or indonesia.
Absolutely when we can afford it!
UKと日本は同じ左側走行なので技能試験は必要ないんですかね?
右と左間違えてますよ。
日本の左側通行はイギリスを手本に近代化しています。
