I feel surprised with the village of The Cotswold, and didn't know that it is famous for Japansse tourists to visit, as everywhere are perfectly preserved and able to revisit its history.
We were surprised to hear a few people speaking Japanese while we were there (it's uncommon to hear even in places like London)! I think it's just so different to old villages in Japan and the small rows of houses are "kawaii"!
I lived in Cheltenham where is close to Bourton about 30 years ago. As I stayed in a local family's, my landlady used to take me to the villages like Bourton and Bibury. I really miss those scenery. Thanks for uploading this video.
For a moment I forgot you were in the UK and was so confused. I was not expecting that to be the number 1 spot. I kind of felt it would be The Lake District, not just because I am biased >.> but they seem to love Peter Rabbit here. Also, BRUM!!!!
Haha only a couple more videos to go before we're "back"! Tbh for most of the world, I think the UK = London and that's about it 😅😭 and thank you for understanding the Brum excitement!! 😂❤
I know the television show Brum because my son used to watch it when he was little. (off course in dutch ) He absolutely loved it. So nice to see this. Also love the video thanks for sharing have a great weekend x and hug Debby
I'm quite young but I do remember brum because I grew up with alot of old tv also I love Japan like I think Japan and the UK are very similar in there ideology of historical and modern architecture beatuiful country which is why it's so exciting seeing a Japanese person experience this! Great video very wholesome ahsdhdhxz
Thank you! We both agree! There’s a lot to be said about our little island countries and their histories and although they seem worlds apart culture-wise, we both feel very at home in both 😊
I think the resting place of Elizabeth II will take over as the no. 1 tourist site once they finish the embalming and mummification process. That's certainly the top of my Euro list when I head over there after Xmas
Oh absolutely. I'm sure she will still be able to draw the masses for generations to come. Windsor was booming again while we were there too, though we would have liked to have visited Balmoral as well.. maybe next time! I hope you have a lovely trip! ☺️
Only after did we realise how close we were! 🥲 A true shame, but I've now got Bear hooked on it & James May's Japan adventures, so I'll count that as a mild success 😂
Personally I would've thought London, then Harry Potter World aka Oxford, and the Cotswolds because they're next to Ox. The villages certainly are lovely, and I imagine it's much more common for us Brits to avoid tourist areas because we consider them passé in an attempt to appear cool. But in doing so miss out on some of the greatest parts of the UK.
I always assumed The Cotswolds were just a quaint collection of villages for retirees to spend lots of money on tea and cake in, so had little interest in visiting 😅. Very happy to have made the trip in the end! It's a shame that in general we as Brits are such bad domestic tourists! 😅
Are you surprised to know that The Cotswolds is one of the most famous UK destinations for Japanese tourists? 🇬🇧
天気も町も穏やかでホッとする。美しい英国を見せてくれてありがとう。これからも楽しみにしています。

Very cozy and rustic, old well maintained houses that tell stories and form beautiful views. Tks, Ja neee
Gorgeous, peaceful,...so much to see! Thoroughly enjoying it all!

@@OshareJapan I don’t mind the UK edition, it is nice to see you guys exploring no matter where 💕 yeah basically. I got you girl
Nice to see more of the English countryside. It looked like the place to have Tea, Scone and Jam.
We missed the opportunity as the local tea shop was packing up by the time we got there. The cakes looked great though! 🥲
