If you come here because you need that little bit of peace, let me tell you please don't give up. You have to keep fighting. That stronger, faster, better you is waiting at the end of whatever battle you're fighting. It's not the end. It's only the beginning. You have to get up. Despite the numerous times you've been slammed into the ground you have to dust yourself off and ask "is that all you got?" Because you're strong. Know it. Own it. Trust me, I know. My eyes are literally watering. I do not know how to express it at the moment. I'm not getting enough sleep because of depression and anxiety, listening to it is such a great relief. Sad how we're missing on such simple and beautiful things available in nature.

Watching this while playing soft jazz on my phone, my 2 cats Bob and Marley are sleeping aside me on the couch, 1 small black and white bundle of fur with 2 white feet sticking out. 1 big brown striped ball of chonk rolled up like a puffy cinemonroll. It is peaceful. Outside the world is on fire, but here the sunflowers still grow in the garden where birds still sing.
I am grateful for that.

this is my favorite virtual fire because the crackle is not overpowering. also the bricks make it feel like i’m the appropriate distance from the fireplace instead of right up in the fire like a lot of other virtual fires. thanks.
Takes me right back to the 60`s (old git). A terraced house in the Midlands. 8 years of age and it was a cold Christmas day. We had relatives coming around for the afternoon/evening so my dad lit the coal fire in the living room and front room to get the house nice and warm. It had snowed the night before and was very festive. We had home made streamers and balloons on the ceiling. My dad had banked the fire up with so much coal that all the balloons burst and we had to have to front door open to get rid of the heat! Our house was the only one in the street with no snow on the roof!! Great times.

My husband and I first found you in 2016 when our then new born had colic and struggling to thrive. You did not disappoint then with your calming videos. Your vids with music and fish aquariums were all that would settle her at one point. Your channel was a life saver for her and everyone else in the home. No, you're not going insane. The emotional and physical worlds are interconnected. Our ancestors used meditation techniques where they imagined a fire was warming them up--truly immersing themselves in the process, which would help them actually warm up and survive longer.

For many years in northern Vermont I used a Hearthstone woodstove with the glass front - I could watch and hear the fire. Tonight, 10 years later, I had this on the tv while cooking dinner, and I just naturally turned every few minutes to check it. I mean seriously checked to see that the fire was doing well. Also, once I thought that I should shut the damper a bit because it was getting kinda warm in here. There's some powerful suggestion in a fire at night.

I crawl into bed after a long day,
I set my phone down right next to my head and turn the volume up a bit.
I slide the warm heavy blankets over my body and inhale, and then exhale.
I grab my stuffy and pull him next to me.
He’s not very clean or neat, but neither is my life.
When I have a bad day full of hurt I crawl into bed and play this wonderful video.
I say my prayers and gaze off to a world of comfort and happiness.
I fall asleep next to my stuffy, knowing that I don’t have to worry about anything for the next 8 hours.

I couldn't remember why I wanted fireplace sounds while reading when I looked this up but after seeing the picture I remembered that my high school English teacher used to play videos like this during class all the time. The sound of fire crackling is SO relaxing to me. Whenever I have free time in class, I’ll put this on in my noise canceling headphones and lay down on the floor with my bag as a pillow, and I have to keep checking my watch to make sure I don’t fall asleep or miss the bell!

I love how I can't figure out where the seam is. It sounds natural and consistent but I noticed none of the logs burned up/fell off.

Same. I usually can "find" the repeating point, eventually. At first, I thought..the smoke will give it away. And i watched it. Kept looking for a particular large circular "ball" of smoke to repeat. But ..it didn't seem to, at all, and i watched for a goodly amount of time. (Not watching for an hour, sorry.) But this is so seemingly irregular random, and the flames are really well edited, whomever did it, Excellent short attention span intro to a "peaceful to sleep to" video.
I go to sleep to this every night now :)
That potion shop ambience looks so magical, most especially with that beautiful huge window, in that style/design that makes the whole thing look like a fantasy realm.
