I only like Penguins Lair because in the final fight you can lead Catwoman into the acid and remove her from the mission entirely. 10/10 mission just for that feature.
I've always felt this game was a perfect merging of the Burton verse, Animated universe, and of coarse the Schumacher verse. It blends so well. It was a good look into batman law. I would say Lego Batman is my favorite game with AVP 3 being 2, and alien isolation being 3. This game and it's levels are nothing short of perfection.
@@wooblydooblygod3857 Being a goon could be fun though you'd have to be careful on who you pick cause if you say one wrong thing you could end up dead before you even realize what you said.
Fun fact: in the DS version (which is the only version I have played), the hero and villain stories are exactly parallel, meaning that killer moth never makes an appearance in the story, and there are hero story counterparts of the docks and art gallery levels with boss fights against bane and scarecrow.
@@brohdez8857 Chapter 3 for both stories has: a level with mad hatter, a level with harley quinn and the joker, a vehicle mission, a mission with scarecrow, and the final mission with harley quinn and the joker. Killer moth is an unlockable bonus character, but he isn't part of the story.
So glad someone said this, I just spent half an hour trying to find some wiki sources of this. I remember playing it on Wii and DS and remembered some of the differences but I never made the connection it was to keep this parallel.
And it had different characters. There was (as far as I can remember, but definitely not all of the DS exclusives) an alt version of Killer Moth, an alt of Poison ivy, along with her pre-villain form Pamela Isley, Harvey Dent and Huntress
Everything about the bit at 47:23 kills me. The music and movement syncing up, the expression on Joker's face as he freezes up, the presence of gun violence in a lego game... It's wonderful.
No joke, you made a really interesting and well detailed analysis on each and every level, giving your thoughts and overall enjoyment, as well as telling god tier comedy. This is a tier list that I thoroughly love! Well done! Your description of An Icy Reception was especially great!
In the Villain level, he doesn’t even have any abilities. No toxin resistance, no mind control. He doesn’t get to do anything during that entire mission. Really sucks in co-op.
Penguin's Lair definitely deserves the bottom spot in my book for having the only minikit in the game that you have to get on the first try or else restart the level.
Yup, it's the Penguin level one but the one where you are the Penguin and if I remember correctly, Catwoman as the other player. And yup I totally agree, I love the level but that minikit is horrible. Same goes to The Face Off, I love the level but it's the only minikit in the entire game that is basically random. At the beginning of the level you gotta step on top of 5 or 6 poles, those yellow and black ones that exist to stop vehicles from crossing over places. The thing is, they're impossible to destroy or even interact with in any form in any level, except for those 5 that randomly require you to jump on them and then they get pushed down, when you do all of them the minikit appears.I had to play that level like 20 times 10 years ago and it was driving me crazy until I randomly stepped on them while playing that part of the level and it was probably one of the biggest "sense of relief" of my life. Days and days of playing that level after I had everything else, without even knowing where the minikit was. But I did have a clue: I noticed how for sure the remaining minikit had to be in that area of the game because the later areas are filled with minikits one after the other, so I spent most of those plays through the level focusing on that initial area. I don't know if I would ever have gotten it if I hadn't been smart enough to pick up on that, I had to rely on deconstructing the game and thinking "ok the minikit must be in this area" and it still took me to randomly step on poles that in any other area of any other level don't do anything. But at the same time, the level is great, but ugh completely infuriating, like the Penguin one because that one-chance minikit is deep into the level.
@@OshawottLuke it’s not impossible to get though, I recently 100% the game. But yeah, I see your point. I had to restart Arctic world at least 7 times to get that minikit. So annoying
@@planetsabbath I forget that one free play minikit in an Icy Reception that is near the beginning where the purple studs are, I though it contains nothing and you need to smash the wood planks to make it appear.
Glad he didn't include the bonus levels. If he hated dragging bombs so much, then he definitely would've put the Wayne Manor level at the very bottom, it was so time consuming
Remember playing this game as a 6 year old swedish kid. Who would've thought not knowing english would mean id have no idea of how anything worked. Especially since it's the first game i ever played. I remember realizing while aiming the batarang you deflected bullets (not knowing i could throw it) and so i would treat it more as a shield than a weapon🥶🥶
Aren't most swedish people more fluent in English than any other language? Either way kinda funny story, and i am here just now learning that you can deflect bullets with the batarang.
@@wooblydooblygod3857 as far as i know we definetily are, however, we start learning english in first grade, that's at 7 years old. And i will say i know some fellas that can't speak the language for shit.
There She Goes Again is honestly one of my favorite and most memorable levels. Traversing the rooftops and having the city skyline in view invokes the classic batman nostalgia that i love. I think all of chapter 2 really does it for me because it feels the closest to BTAS, even though I’d argue this game takes it aesthetic more from the live-action films… also I think I’ve subconsciously attached my fondness of chapter 2 to the McDonald’s tie-in toys 👀
The fact that this made me feel nostalgic for this game especially with the ice slide, the zoo company, and the villan killer croc sewer mission just makes me feel good
this says quite a substantial amount about the game design and memorability of _LEGO Batman: The Videogame_ and how it perfectly adapts the environment of the fictional city of Gotham
Fun fact, this was the first game of all time that I 100% completed. I remember trying to create the Minikits and Magnet Suit and everything IRL, this game was my LIFE. I even had the PSP version that (seemingly) had different sections, as did the DS version (or I’m going insane and a DS version never existed). I’m ecstatic to see how this goes though. Killer Moth had the best level in the game, no contest, although Joker’s puts up a good fight. Can’t wait to see how things go, now that I think about it all of the levels for Chapter 3 kick serious butt!
There was a DS version! It was almost a different game to the console one, obviously due to the limitations of the DS itself, but it was still an amazing game. I played the DS version first and loved it, only later I got it on the Wii and it was great having essentially a whole new set of levels to play with my favourite characters lol.
DS version was pretty bad, similar to the Complete Saga & IJ1 versions, but it had unique sections and about 4 times as many characters. I don’t know if the PSP had any differences.
@@armankaya4826 interesting, I wholeheartedly disagree I find the DS levels super square and repetitive. Yeah the boss fights were worse but at least Scarecrow and Bane got proper boss fights. The worst part is probably the combat in general since it just shakes the camera as you smack into each other and isn’t really animated much…
The ice slide is my childhood trauma. In order to 100% it you had to move through the gates and if you missed even one, too bad for you champ, replay the whole level to get another shot at it.
I was 5 when I first played this game, I'm 16 now (almost 17) and had completely forgotten about it. but when I first saw your lego batman series it unlocked great memories I had forgotten all about. Thanks for that, your funny jokes and awesome personality really made it 10x more enjoyable to relive that experience I once knew. I would love to see you do more games like Lego Star Wars, the Toy Story Games, Lego harry potter, and really just all the old nostalgia games we once played as kids. That would awesome to watch, keep up the the great video!

My parents were never fans of letting us play video games, but I'll be honest here, this Lego game and others taught me to problem solve. I will always remember how excited my brother and I were when we found out we could play the villains story as well!
@@Loayo bro... There was litteraly a two month gap between his last 2 videos. The Batman video in October, the Arthur becomes video in December. Unless this was your first video you would know he'd come back. And unless the last Lego video was your first as well, then you should also know
What is so weird for me to see with this is the DS version was different. I can't find documentation of the differences on the wiki pages but iirc: Act 2 Hero mode: -Chapter 1 was set on the docks which had a Bane boss battle (I think you had to trick him into charging into a cargo container. -Everything else in Act 2 was the same except they cut the Man-bat level. Instead after beating on Croc in the sewers he tells you Penguin's plan. Man-bat ended up being just an unlockable bonus character never shown in the main story. Act 3 Hero mode: -After Biplane Blast (I think that was the name of the plane chase), you chase Scarecrow into the an Art Gallery level. This level involved chasing Scarecrow (and Joker I think) through the level and ended with a Scarecrow boss battle. -The Scarecrow level replaced the (sorry in advance, I know you liked him) Killer Moth level. Killer Moth did show up as a Freeplay character but both him and Man-bat are in no aspect of the story. Act 1 Villain Mode: -The Two Face level (An Enterprising Thief) was cut from the game. Instead of that they had Villain Hunt, basically a time trial where you had to go through story levels looking for certain villains. These villains would unlock upon capture, and since the DS version's Freeplay had you pick 10 characters to cycle through before the level began, the game gave you the same ten characters for each hunt. The villains were: -Killer Moth -Man-Bat -Dr. Hugo Strange -Mr. Zsasz -Black Mask -Firefly -Ventriloquist and Scarface -Ra's al Ghul -Hush -The Joker (Tropical) and the ten heroes provided were: -Batman -Robin -Huntress -Azrael -SWAT -Policeman -Commissioner Gordon -Harvey Bullock Anyway sorry for any inaccuracies, I'm going off of my childhood memories boredly playing through the same levels over and over again since this was one of the two DS games I had.
30:37 that’s a chalk outline of a supposedly dead lego person on the ground….how. I thought they exploded into pieces when they died, and they disappeared after a while. Someone had to think about that, write it down, and render that.
Lego Batman is actually how I learned to read, because every time a hint popped up or we see thosr descriptions of the villians before the levels my parents would make me to read them. And I just find that hilarious.
If I recall correctly, the Heat Suit in the DS version is used a single time in a single level. You equip it, you walk past some flames into the next area, and that’s it. Never seen again. Also I remember the fight against Bane being really creative. Instead of the typical super-strength plan of “I’ll punch them”, Bane tries to push shipping containers together to crush the heroes between.
In the dark night has always been my favorite. It is the first time I got introduced to killer moth and wanted more of him after playing this mission. Still to this day, 10 years later (age 20 now) I remember that level. The disco floor was such a memorable moment and when Robin moved around some mini robot vehicle.
Crazy how similar our lists are, my favorite level since i was a kid has always been In the Dark Knight and you have no idea how happy it made me to see you praise it and put it at number 1! Great list and great content overall, you really went hard with this one
Man, now that I think back to 12 year old me playing this game I think In The Dark Night was my favorite because not only did I love the level, but the killer moth boss fight was an absolute banger and I had even more fun playing him even if he had no grab move 🤣 Absolute banger video mate and keep up the good work
When I played through this game's version on the DS when I was younger, Bane quickly became one of my favorite characters due to his level design for both the heroes' and villains' perspectives (they differ a lot from the PS and Wii version), and just from how he played as a character. In addition to super strength and toxic immunity, his DS version also featured a tommygun, which was helpful as the DS levels had gun targets as features to open doors etc.
I’d say The Jokers Masterpiece, Stealing the Show and A Daring Rescue are my Top 3 Favorite Levels in the Game! Gotta hand it to the developers, while they could’ve stopped after the Batman Missions, adding the Villain Missions made the game 100x better! Definitely the best Lego Batman game to this day! Maybe the best Lego game overall!
I respect your opinion, but Breaking Blocks is one of my personal favorite levels. I loved how The Riddler could brainwash the helicopter pilot and you could annihilate all the SWAT officers and the Defense Robot was also very fun with its giant machine guns. Also Killer Moth, Two Face, the Mad Hatter, and Hush all lack special grapple attacks if I am not mistaken.
The first sentence to the poison ivy level green fingers "there's no time to beat around the bush as we're beating the sh*t out of bushes with a big sentient bush of our own" made me laugh so damn hard I actually could not breathe
love how I havent played this game since 2008 with my dad and my number #1 mission was exactly the one you picked. I still remember that mission quite vividly - climbing up to fight the joker at the top. Good stuff.
20:58 So right when I got to this point, I got and ad for the Christopher Nolan Batman movies on Peacock. But the audio started before the video kicked in, so I thought you were starting chapter 3 with “Why so serious?” That was the best ad placement I’ve seen in some time.
I love this review but it's jarring to me when the tracks from the Wall-E game and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets game are playing, mostly because I never hear them outside of that context, it's very cool to see someone using the soundtrack from some seriously underrated games tho. Props to you, man.
Wow first off super impressed by this video. The writing lmao the beating around the bush line actually made me laugh when usually I don’t expect to in videos like these. I haven’t played this game since probably 2010, but I always remember oddly loving the In the Dark Night mission. Killer moth….super random character but the vibe of the city in this one killed it for me (in a good way). Weird I actually came to this video specifically to see where you ranked it, so was very pleased you felt the same! Cheers!!!
pure quality, was frankly nicely surprised to see such a thoughtful critique on "that one funny lego game" from the bloke behind "the mischievous misadventures of bruce and robert" keep up the great work homie
I love how the game uses the locations, music, characters and designs from every Batman iteration up until that point. I love playing through a level and hearing the Batman 89' music swell. Great game and great video.
35:00 my man used wall-e music in his video, that deserves respect. also wall-e game was good too, if you ever played as a kid, i would be happy to listen to your rant about it.
This game was my childhood, I remember playing this with my little brother and just having so much fun, it was pretty cool seeing you go through each level and just having memories flood back. This video was awesome!
Love the videos man. Your ranking is actually pretty close to mine. Although I do like there she goes again a bit more than you do. What can I say I guess I just really like rooftop levels. Looking forward to whatever you do next!
Thanks man! A rooftop mission is essential for anything Batman related, so I'm glad There She Goes Again exists despite ranking it a bit lower lol. Appreciate you watchin dude
As a kid I genuinely thought the intended strategy to beat Mr Freeze in An Icy Reception was to just let him freeze Robin then beat the shit out of him while he's distracted
I remember finding out about the villain missions by just messing around the batcave by accident and my mind was blown, it was like a whole new game for me
The idea of a final boss between Batman and Robin in the villain story never once crossed my mind, but after hearing the idea, I’m disappointed it never happened.
I always loved Rocking the Docks because I had seen Batman the Animated Series and thought Bane was the coolest villain ever, also I loved how unique each character’s walking cycle was. Bane lumbered about, with his arms in a Hulk Hogan-esque pose; and penguin well, waddled
This game takes me back to when I was in middle school and elementary school, and I remembered when I had completed the entire game I had decided to see if I could find some glitches and found so many out of bound glitches in so many levels 😅. Miss this game so much and willing to play it again some day. Oh the memories
This came up in my recommended and I watched the whole thing and loved it, great job. But then I went to your channel for some more and found out you do challenges for my favorite game, RDR2 and now I gotta sub and watch those. Cheers!
I don’t really know why, but as a kid, the vehicle missions were my favorites to do. Even now, I still enjoy them a good bit. I honestly have no idea why
One thing i often did was that i ran around in chapter 2 level 1 and made every enemy come after me. Gave an Arkham asylum/city sort of fighting feel where you literally take on an absolute huge amount of hostiles and win.
I always remembered the final joker battle to be the best thing created in the history of basically history. That is the opinion that I will never change, top of the tower is a banger. The rest of the list is ranked just fine. In the dark night will always take the top spot after top of the tower.
I don’t know what it is, but for some reason I actually had a positive attraction to the vehicle missions. I loved crashing into enemy vehicles and driving through those Lego pillars.
Characters that got shafted: 1: Bane. I always have hated the fact he never got a boss fight (except ds.) Even in lego batman 2 he's just a guy you fight as a minion in a level, and on a beach. And in lego batman 3 he doesn't even appear. I'm pretty sure the only reasons he didnt get a boss was 1. He is as tough as getting the world record speed run in this game. 2. They needed room for there she goes again. 2: Scarecrow. He's the only boss to be defeated in a vehicle level, gets left behind by joker (same with bane and penguin, I wish they had better reason for characters being abandoned.) Oh and he doesnt have toxic immunity for some reason. 3:Mad hatter. You don't even get to play as this guy in the villain campaign, probably because he's just a better scarecrow and they were going to use him later on. 4: Man-bat. Probably the least shafted, mainly because his boss fight is great but you don't play as him for some reason.
This is the most fantastic video I’ve ever seen. If someone asks me about a UA-cam video necessary to watch, it’s this one. Regardless of whether I agree or disagree with the rankings, this is incredible. So beautiful, raw, and emotional.
man, I remember playing the Nintendo DS version of this. instead of grunts and stuff, we had a slideshow for the intro and outro cutscenes. Also, we had bane instead of man bat and another scarecrow fight instead of killer moth. The bane level took place in the harbor. You'd go into a cargo ship, and you had to make bane crash into the ship's containers so he got dizzy, then drop another container on his head. For the scarecrow level, his plane crashed so you had to chase him into a museum where he would fill the room with fear gas and you'd have to try to fight him regardless. They also improved the penguin level and boss fight.
@@vile2574 I realize my wording could've been better, I never said it improved the boss fight against Penguin, just that it improved the boss fight in the Penguin level.
Yeah that scarecrow fight in the art gallery was really cool, I always forget the differences but man I remember the DS version so much. A similar boss fight was put in lb2 anyway tho.
I like how diverse the levels are, they take place in the city, in freeze’s ice cream factory, in poison ivy’s garden, in the sewers, by the docks, at the rundown amusement park, the zoo. They are all unique in their own way and while I prefer some more than others, I can still enjoy pretty much all the levels
I know I’m late to the party, but I just wanted to say that love this video so much. It brings me so much joy whenever I watch it and you put a lot of commendable effort into it and I really respect that, and it’s always nice to revisit a childhood classic.
Icy Reception has the most frustrating true hero as the money is scarce and most of it falls off the edge when you break the fences Arctic World has the most egregious Minikit being on the ice slide having you replay the level again.
i NEVER comment on youtube videos but this was one of the most enjoyable videos i have watched in a very long time!!! thank you for making me remember a key part of my childhood and also making me laugh out loud :-)
When I was a kid, I had no idea there was missions for the villains perspectives at first. I found it out after some time and remember having a HUGE smile finding out there was more to play
45:10 Well it's just a shame that "Mumble Mode" was more "Now they talk like The Sims!" than an actual return to the old format. It's why i never used Mumble Mode when playing SWS.
I don't mind the driving mission and the boat bomb flinging... I love the bomb flinging tbh But by the time you get to the flying mission I just kinda hate it
I love Rocking The Docks, especially the things Bane can do there. Pulling an entire ship, throwing dozens of containers. It's just all so satisfying. The rain is also very atmospheric and fitting for the docks. I just love it so much
So I never got to play the WII version of Lego Batman but the NDS one, and it’s my favorite Lego game of all time. Despite the limitations of the NDS, they still managed to recreate a dark Gotham environment, and it’s absolutely awesome. Plus, the boss fights in the NDS game actually rely more on one villain’s ability/flaw. For example, you have to turn on water to make clayface melt, or you have to fight Bane by having him “activate” venom and charge into containers to stun him since he’s not vulnerable to basic attacks. Or for Scarecrow, you have to turn on the AC to get rid of his fear gas which then allows you to fight him without your screen being all wobbly.
The amount of effort this video had on a childhood game of mine is so astonishing, and for somebody who has played this game from the beginning more than three times, I can 98% agree on this list. While "The Lure of the Night" was pretty solidifying, I felt like "Dying of Laughter" stood out much more to me. While I can feel your disappointment with the final act, ending more than made it up for me. Imagine the multitude of citizens that fell victim to Jokers scheme. Such a twisted finale to the game as a whole. My opinions aside, your ranking to all levels as a whole are really great man.
The Good Ending: Dad came back from the corner store (not with a carton of milk but instead with a 58 minute long video about Lego Batman: The Videogame)
I hope you enjoy the video! Was actually beginning to think I may never finish this behemoth. Feels good to be back, gamers.

I would say Lego Batman is my favorite game with AVP 3 being 2, and alien isolation being 3. This game and it's levels are nothing short of perfection.

Fun fact: in the DS version (which is the only version I have played), the hero and villain stories are exactly parallel, meaning that killer moth never makes an appearance in the story, and there are hero story counterparts of the docks and art gallery levels with boss fights against bane and scarecrow.
You should really play the console version, or at least PSP, it’s so much better.
How would killer moth never make an appearance? Explain

@Filip Medak He does in the DS version, and Scarecrow has an improved boss battle, rest of the game sucks tho, especially the ending.
In the Villain level, he doesn’t even have any abilities. No toxin resistance, no mind control. He doesn’t get to do anything during that entire mission. Really sucks in co-op.
@@DotRD12 The fact they didn't give Scarecrow of all people toxic resistance will forever be the worst part of this game.
Penguin's Lair definitely deserves the bottom spot in my book for having the only minikit in the game that you have to get on the first try or else restart the level.
Actually that wasn’t Penguin’s Lair I think that was Arctic World with the ice slide
Yeah! It aggravates me!

There She Goes Again is honestly one of my favorite and most memorable levels. Traversing the rooftops and having the city skyline in view invokes the classic batman nostalgia that i love. I think all of chapter 2 really does it for me because it feels the closest to BTAS, even though I’d argue this game takes it aesthetic more from the live-action films… also I think I’ve subconsciously attached my fondness of chapter 2 to the McDonald’s tie-in toys 👀
oh my god those fucking toys. i had the Penguin's submarine for like. years.
No way, props to Eyezayar for doing both the villain and hero missions, beacuse they are way different experiences.
@@expendableindigo9639 PSP is just the console game
@@expendableindigo9639 ds version has better level layout imo, though the worst part is probably the boss fights...

What is so weird for me to see with this is the DS version was different. I can't find documentation of the differences on the wiki pages but iirc:
Act 2 Hero mode:
-Chapter 1 was set on the docks which had a Bane boss battle (I think you had to trick him into charging into a cargo container.
-Everything else in Act 2 was the same except they cut the Man-bat level. Instead after beating on Croc in the sewers he tells you Penguin's plan. Man-bat ended up being just an unlockable bonus character never shown in the main story.
Act 3 Hero mode:
-After Biplane Blast (I think that was the name of the plane chase), you chase Scarecrow into the an Art Gallery level.
Act 1 Villain Mode:
-The Two Face level (An Enterprising Thief) was cut from the game.
Instead of that they had Villain Hunt, basically a time trial where you had to go through story levels looking for certain villains. These villains would unlock upon capture, and since the DS version's Freeplay had you pick 10 characters to cycle through before the level began, the game gave you the same ten characters for each hunt.
The villains were:
-Killer Moth
-Man-Bat
-Dr. Hugo Strange
-Mr. Zsasz
-Black Mask
-Firefly
-Ventriloquist and Scarface
-Ra's al Ghul
-Hush
-The Joker (Tropical)
and the ten heroes provided were:
-Batman
-Robin
-Huntress
-Azrael
-SWAT
-Policeman
-Commissioner Gordon
-Harvey Bullock
Anyway sorry for any inaccuracies, I'm going off of my childhood memories boredly playing through the same levels over and over again since this was one of the two DS games I had.
Alfred was one of the heroes not Harvey bullock
30:37 that’s a chalk outline of a supposedly dead lego person on the ground….how. I thought they exploded into pieces when they died, and they disappeared after a while. Someone had to think about that, write it down, and render that.
Paper Mario had one too, along with blood splatters before it was censored.

The Heat suit was in the DS version? I thought it was the Ice suit.
I think so, but extremely briefly and only once.
As someone that grew up with this game. This video gave me extreme nostalgia, thank you it was nice reliving some memories.
I remember the carnival being the first time I ever really noticed just how good atmosphere can enhance an experience
I love the intro into The Joker Masterpiece. The music is great.
I think Indiana Jones is the best personally, the level design and character animations is just so memorable and wonderful
This game is actually what started me down the road to becoming a Batman fan. I'd never even seen a show or comic of Batman before this.

It's the bar fight that sells it for me. You get to beat up a bunch of sailors then if you leave and come back in, they all respawn.
I love how at 30:16 joker tries to kill himself but then says "its just a prank bro."

I always remembered the final joker battle to be the best thing created in the history of basically history. That is the opinion that I will never change, top of the tower is a banger. The rest of the list is ranked just fine. In the dark night will always take the top spot after top of the tower.
You are a good man sir.
I don’t know what it is, but for some reason I actually had a positive attraction to the vehicle missions. I loved crashing into enemy vehicles and driving through those Lego pillars.
Characters that got shafted:
1: Bane. I always have hated the fact he never got a boss fight (except ds.) Even in lego batman 2 he's just a guy you fight as a minion in a level, and on a beach. And in lego batman 3 he doesn't even appear. I'm pretty sure the only reasons he didnt get a boss was
You didn’t fight penguin in that level you fought cat woman again.
@@vile2574 I realize my wording could've been better, I never said it improved the boss fight against Penguin, just that it improved the boss fight in the Penguin level.
I agree the boss and level is better.
Yeah that scarecrow fight in the art gallery was really cool, I always forget the differences but man I remember the DS version so much. A similar boss fight was put in lb2 anyway tho.
Bro this vid is what i call effort and love to make your videos, this men needs more subs, ya got a new sub 🖤
I honestly think Killer Moth is a REALLY underrated villain, glad he finally got the justice he deserves!
Does anyone else think Killer Moth is adorable in this game? I think he is
Attention seeking huh?

I know I’m late to the party, but I just wanted to say that love this video so much. It brings me so much joy whenever I watch it and you put a lot of commendable effort into it and I really respect that, and it’s always nice to revisit a childhood classic.
Honestly, Under the City was always one of my favorites. It's probably the level I've replayed the most, and I don't really have a good reason for it
Icy Reception has the most frustrating true hero as the money is scarce and most of it falls off the edge when you break the fences
Arctic World has the most egregious Minikit being on the ice slide having you replay the level again.
Between you and Snazzy, I think everything in Lego Batman had been ranked!
i NEVER comment on youtube videos but this was one of the most enjoyable videos i have watched in a very long time!!! thank you for making me remember a key part of my childhood and also making me laugh out loud :-)
This man is the most inconsistent content creator who creates the most consistently awesome content
His inconsistency makes him consistent
When I was a kid, I had no idea there was missions for the villains perspectives at first. I found it out after some time and remember having a HUGE smile finding out there was more to play
What's the song at 24:11?
45:10 Well it's just a shame that "Mumble Mode" was more "Now they talk like The Sims!" than an actual return to the old format. It's why i never used Mumble Mode when playing SWS.
To all of the fellow vehicle mission enjoyer:
-Stay strong, brother!
I don't mind the driving mission and the boat bomb flinging... I love the bomb flinging tbh
But by the time you get to the flying mission I just kinda hate it
I will never get over the fact that each and every time there's a walrus, you end up calling it a seal.
Killer Moth gang
probably one of my top 10 favourite yt vids of all time
Lego Batman is easily on of the best Lego games. Simple, yet sweet. That's all you need.
I love Rocking The Docks, especially the things Bane can do there. Pulling an entire ship, throwing dozens of containers. It's just all so satisfying. The rain is also very atmospheric and fitting for the docks. I just love it so much
HE CAME BACK WITH THE MILK!
Best Lego game
This is too good to be true, how many hours this must have taken you I know not, but it was genuinely a pleasant watch, really cool bro
Immediate click when you see Lego batman
The amount of effort this video had on a childhood game of mine is so astonishing, and for somebody who has played this game from the beginning more than three times, I can 98% agree on this list.
While "The Lure of the Night" was pretty solidifying, I felt like "Dying of Laughter" stood out much more to me. While I can feel your disappointment with the final act, ending more than made it up for me. Imagine the multitude of citizens that fell victim to Jokers scheme. Such a twisted finale to the game as a whole.
My opinions aside, your ranking to all levels as a whole are really great man.
