@@tiansarongventures Video will be out on March 28
its a great tablet. i have been using it for weeks now. the stylus that i purchased separately works well. im been using infinite painter for sketching and light painting. its smooth and responsive.other bonuses is its a 12 inch display, expandable storage, you can insert a sim card.great sound etc. its a good alternative tablet for people who wants to draw digitally on a budget device.
Which stylus did you get? The Blackview stylus that was made specifically for this tablet?
Yes!
It's very buggy and unresponsive, it's shaking like an earthquake still waiting for an update
Some people say that the stylus works well and others the opposite. who to believe?
@@clem7334My review will be out tomorrow, March 28
follow up with comparison to other 12 inch tablets would be great. and that pen review. thanks!
Thanks for the great and informative video! I have a question .. is this tablet possible to connect to Huion Kamvas 20"? Thanks!
Watching from my blackview 13
Had numerous blackview products from the bc9600 to the warping to the tablets. They make great stuff along with umigi
Wow! Great first tablet for kids
Hi, truly a great review! I´m a student and i´m thinking in buying this tablet for productivity along with it´s keyboard, but i´m also thinking about buying the Chuwi UBook that you´ve also reviewed (mainly because of Windows), but i´m kinda worried it´s too slow... Can you help me in this choice?
Choose based on the app you want to use.
The keyboard for this tablet is the wireless one, not the keyboard case as there is no connector on the tablet.
The user experience of this tablet would be better than the Chuwi because this is a very well made keyboard. But Chuwi is running Windows which is the main selling point.
It's €350 in Germany and at that price point the old xiaomi pad 5 12.4 would be better, but if you can find it at $200, that's pretty decent
I've just ordered this tablet because it seemed to be really promising with an affordable price. Hope I won't regret buying this! :D mainly need this for my college studies
Share your experience here when you get the tablet. This is really worth the money
@@teohontech7141 I'll get it this Tuesday! Can't wait to finally start using it :)
Did u get the tab already? 14:27
@@mikorinrin-kp7so @technotech741 Yep, just wanted to use it for a couple of days before I could share some thoughts. I've only got the tablet, no pen or keyboard yet so I can't say my opinion on those. The tablet in general is actually pretty good, the screen is larger than I expected, but at least I can see everything much better when it comes to studying (our college uses PowerPoint presentations plus pdf).
So far the only downsides I can say is that the tablet is unable to connect to my college's eduroam (eduroam is a free WiFi our college provides), if anyone has any ideas on how to solve this issue please tell me by the way! What my tablet does is just suddenly closing the wifi Settings app whenever I click the eduroam. Twitter/X also suddenly just closes on my tablet, but only in PC mode by the way.
But as a whole, besides these, I've had no problem with the tablet so far. Admittedly I haven't used it as much as I wanted to since it's kinda heavy to carry it around, but for school stuff, it's actually a nice tablet. Glad to see I can actually take notes under the presentations with this tablet lol (on my phone this wasn't an option).
So far I don't regret buying it, not being able to connect to eduroam sure does suck, but I guess I can live with that. Luckily it can connect to any wifi plus my home's wifi no problem, it's just the eduroam it has problems with.
Typing this from the tablet by the way LOL
Well, I got the tablet around a week ago and have been using it for quite a while now. I'm not a gamer so I can't specifically say anything about the gaming part, but the device opens the apps pretty fast, the scrolling through news and videos also goes pretty smoothly, so far I experienced little to no lags. The PC mode was also pretty cool to check out. I have no problem with the battery either, I took it to school and have used it for some hours in my gap hours to type down some stuff from my notebook to the tablet, glad to see I can take notes on Google Drive now under the presentations (that's what the professors use in my college). I charged the tablet around 3 days ago and it's still at 67%.
However, there are also some problems that happened and I'd appreciate it if anyone had any solution to this issue. My college has eduroam (which is basically free WiFi for students I think), and my tablet just can't connect to it. Whenever I click the eduroam to connect in the Settings app, it suddenly just closes without doing pretty much anything. It doesn't do this to my wifi nor any other free WiFis out there, just with the eduroam so far. Therefore I have to share my mobile data with the tablet which is kinda annoying considering my school literally has free WiFi. Oh well, whatever, I guess it's not that big of an issue but I'd still appreciate it if anyone had any tips for that.
The screen is surprisingly larger than I expected. But at least it will be easier to study from it even while I'm on the go and not at home but on the train where there's no desk/table to put the laptop on.
Right now I'm even using the tablet to type this comment LOL
I have considered getting the pen but I've decided not to. I'll just stick with the good ol' notebook (by that I mean an actual notebook made of paper before anyone would think the laptop version lol) instead. And copy the things from the notebook to Google Drives under the presentations as some extra notes, that's pretty much the main reason why I bought this tablet and so far I'm not unsatisfied. Only the wifi part I'm a bit disappointed in but other than that, so far I don't regret buying this, pretty sure there are other tablets out there with similar performance as this yet they're much more expensive. Also was happy I've got a case and screen protector which were all in excellent condition when I got the tablet.
Hello, can you please tell me how long it takes to charge?
Hey man i'm just curious if you have any guess abt the nits of its peak brightness? I use tablets outdoors most of the time due to my needs so I badly need a tablet that can still be visible even under the sunlight. Awesome video btw!
There are no tablets that are visible under direct sunlight, no even the iPad Pro 12.9 inch with 600 nits brightness. I say that as someone who sketches with tablets outdoors.
No idea on the actual brightness of this tablet but it's considered bright.
Have you tried Blackview mega 1? Does it also have fingerprint sensor? I can't seem to choose between the two.
I have not tried that so I can't say much
What are your chances of getting android 14?
Good day ..ive watch your video multiple times already ..hahaha thinking if i'll get one or not.
May i know if this tablet can project via hdmi ..thanks alot
No HDMI. USB C is too slow to transmit video
Saw the specs of it. They also skimped by using older ufs2.1 storage and wifi 5 instead of 6/6E, all of which im super cool with for a tablet thats otherwise super nice for this price range. Definitely a shame though that they included desktop mode but no display out.
It's either they sacrifice the paper specs or actual things that people can notice, e.g. lag, audio quality
@@teohontech7141 hey I'm all for it! I care way more about audio than I do about having the latest and greatest snapdragon chip or fastest storage... 2.1 is plenty for average use. Just wish they had a headphone jack...
Nice review..1 more thing
They can read external drive?
Yes, but is slow USB 2 speed
Is Blackview tablet still don't support live wallpaper? I try one before but found out that.
Wow, nice tablet.
Next please review the other great and affordable tab : OUKITEL OT5 Tablet 12 Inch 2K Display - 36GB+256GB 2TB TF Android 13 Tablets 11000mAh Helio G99 Octa-Core 2.2GHz Gaming Tablet.
Hi, did you test the Blackview S pen for this tab 18 ?

Great review. Can this tablet run as a Second Screen to accompany a Laptop?
You can, with SuperDisplay app
@@teohontech7141 Thanks. Tried with my phone and the app works. Thanks for this tip. Have you tested the active pencil by any chance? I wonder if its useful for note taking...
bv mega 1 vs bv tab18..better? or same?
Hi! Only for drawing and watching videos on UA-cam is better this or Samsung Tab S6 Lite 2022 or another tablet? (obviously in this price range 250-300 euros) Thanks for rewiew!
This tablet is better than S6 Lite. Better and bigger display. 4 speakers. SIM support. Face and fingerprint unlock.
@@teohontech7141Thanks for the reply! (unfortunately UA-cam had not sent me the message notification).
In the end I bought a Samsung S9 FE for my mom, but I also wouldn't mind having a tablet to carry around and make some sketches, and then finish the work at home on my Huion Kamvas 16 Pro 2.5K, so maybe I'll opt for This.
(for a difference of €100, do you say it is better that or buy another Samsung S9FE anyway? I only need it for drawing. No game, no video. I just want him to be quick to draw.)
@@biscotto_black6536 A difference of 100 euros? Where did you see that? Even the 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal don't have that price range ....
@@biscotto_black6536 Are you planning to connect your tablet to your drawing Huion Kamvas 16"? ... I am asking you because I also thinking of doing the same thing as you do but with the Kamvas Huion 20" ... not sure if I can do it though.
@@ms.carlawong hi, I finally got S9 FE. The FE series doesn't have a video output, so it won't be able to run the Huion. For that you need normal S7/8/9 tabs, not FE. On the Huion website there are compatible tablets. In the end I have the S9FE tab to work with clip studio even when I'm out and about and then finish the work by transferring the files to my PC at home on the Huion Kamvas 16. I hope I've been useful.
Can you try the blackview tab 60
Can you do drag and drop with files between Windows in pc mode? Thanks!
I no longer have this tablet to test that. If it doesn’t work, alternative is to copy and paste
can you review the stylus pen of the tablet?
I will review the pen but I don't have it yet.
@@teohontech7141 im looking forward sir 🙏
Do you think there's gonna be Android 14 update for this tablet?
Blackview Mega 1
Hello, can you make a comparison of this with Xiaomi pad 6
I would rank them quite similarly, and if so the Blackview will provide better value simply because price is lower.
@@teohontech7141Thank you for your opinion; it means a lot to me, especially since it's challenging to choose between this and the Xiaomi Pad 6, which was my initial choice. I believe the Blackview Tab 18 will be the deal-breaker. Despite having a 400k+ Antutu score, which is almost half of the Pad 6, Blackview seems to have surpassed it in terms of specs. You gained another follower, and I will definitely consider your opinion. Thanks!
I bought Tab 18 .3 months ago..I am using till now but sometimes my Tab screen unresponsive and I had to force restart..Anybody having the same problem ? How to fix it without restarting..annoying fr
I recognise this is Bukit Gombak Stadium 😂
Yes. I live nearby. It's the most convenient place for me to record outdoor videos currently. Quiet, shaded, has seats and toilet. lol
Get the Galaxy Tab A9+ $240 for 8GB /128GB SD 695 SoC
Can it be used as display tablet
Yes, but pen performance is not good for drawing. I've just received their advertised supported pen.
@@teohontech7141 ohh i got kamvas 13 today in dubai. 153us$
Xiaomi pad 6 or this for drawing?
Xiaomi pen has better performance
If this had headphone jack i would buy it in a jiffy
OukiTel OT5 please
This or the alldocube iplay 50 pro...?
This. Alldocube does not have good speakers
@@teohontech7141 ok... Thank 🙏 for response... The Tab 18 is hard to find in Thailand so I guess I'll get the alldocube,.. I got nice Bluetooth speakers so no issue
I hear the screen has discolouration though is it really worth it??
Looks alright to me, at least with this unit I have
Have you tried to draw on this tablet? TIA!

A few years ago maybe, but today there are enough budget tablets with "real" stylus for artists.
Wwhich other budget tablets with pen support are you referring to?
@@teohontech7141 xiaomi, onepad...they're somewhat more expensive but the tradeoff for a real stylus is worth it. The comparison shouldn't be only to ipad
What tablets? Most with a pen that are any good are ipads, so what are you referring to?
