What is goin’ on everyone? Leon checkin’ in and we are at it again with more content!
Today we are covering more of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 by pairing it with the DEXNOR Keyboard Case for an unbox, demo and review!
A sidenote: this unit also works with the Tab S9 FE edition and is also available for the Tab S9+ series.
The DEXNOR Keyboard Case appears promising because it converts the Tab S9 into a mini computer quickly and easily with magnetism and bluetooth pairing.
This keyboard case also improves Tab S9 productivity with a dedicated DEX keyboard shortcut and full access to the SPen.
In my opinion, a kit like this serves as a strong compelling argument to a Chromebook because we have many of the same software features with added hardware capabilities such as standalone tablet use and SPen functionality.
The goal of this content is to help you get more out of your devices and improve your day-to-day efficiency with technology and I’m hoping to do this by providing information you can’t find anywhere else, because I use products long term that I am actually interested in!
Highlights/Key Features:
⚫Converts Tab S9 into a mini computer quickly and easily with embedded magnets and bluetooth connectivity..
⚫Dock for SPen built into keyboard chassis.
⚫Backlit keyboard with 7 color modes and 3 brightness modes with an off function.
⚫USB Type-C Rechargeable.
Drawbacks/Quirks:
🔴Cursor occasionally skips back to the beginning of a line when working in documents.
🔴No support for portrait rotation.
As always, clarity and authenticity are important to the content. That being said, I did purchase this product myself and this means my interest was not influenced by free product or payment, leading to more authentic content.
All things said… Let’s go ahead… And get into it!

You answered all the questions I had before buying the keyboard. Great video, I had to dig deep to find some of the things you showed in this video. I love this keyboard. I had the Samsung slim book cover keyboard(crap), and it was Dexnor of Doqo for me and I picked this one and I'm happy about it. Thanks.
Hi Michael,
I am super glad to hear this because that's the goal of the content. I always am hopeful that I covered as much as possible to help others make a good purchasing choice. I truly appreciate this feedback.
What's cool is I'm also typing on this kit right now, and I tell you what. I really do like it! It's just fascinating how this tablet turns into a mini computer. I feel this is the solution my life needed. And I can only hope to share it with others to they can discover it and hopefully experience the same feeling.
I'm glad to hear you are also enjoying it; it makes my day because I know I'm not the only one who thinks this is kind of awesome! 🙂
Thank you again Michael. God bless. 🙂
Great review Tech!!! It was your video that sold me on the Dexnor keyboard case. Loving it so far. Great quality, easy install, two options to place your S pen. Oh and did I mention sturdy. "Heavy like a Chevy sturdy" and that's a good thing!!! When you look at it the weight of the keyboard at the bottom balances out the weight of the tablet on the top. Overall, the weight from the keyboard is necessary for the overall balance of the Dexnor keyboard case. I'm BrickCityNative and I approve this Dexnor keyboard case. Dexnor in 2024 Baby!!!!
Thanks for this review. Waiting for mine to arrive today. Great explanations of the pros and minor cons
Hi Kevin!
Thank you for stopping by and providing your feedback. I truly appreciate it. 🙂
I have to say. I love stuff like this. I think this is very cool. It's definitely for the techy and the person on the go.
I hope you enjoy it at least as much as I am. 🙂
@@TechCrackedWeekly No problem. It arrived a few hours ago, I actually love it. I haven't used my S9 this much since I purchased it last month😂 Height is perfect, keyboard is just right. Thanks again for the review, I actually knew what to do once it arrived 😁 because of you.
@@KevinTspirit Haha. Your the best Kevin and I totally get bringing back excitement to devices we already own. It's a great feeling indeed. 🙂
dexnor is great!! RGB and much better than the magic key board. I am using it, it is so nice!
Great feature, and fast reponse!
Always trying to do the best. 🙂 Super thanks Mike. 🫡
Great video! I have the blue dexnor keyboard for my S9 plus and I love it!! Is there a way to turn off the trackpad?
I have that for my s9+. Love it, got some weight but makes me feel like I am actually getting more stuff done.
I'm looking forward to buy it 😊
So far it seems like a pretty good product. If I run into any issues, I'll provide updates in the pinned comment.
Thank you for stopping by and providing your comment vivekraj 🙂
Hi can you review the tab s9 doqo keyboard case too? thanks
detailed review on dexnor keyboard than other reviewers. I have been watching reviews on doqo, dexnor & other brands for my tab s9+. thanks bro.
Will the S Pen for Tab S9 be compatible with the Tab S8?
Thank you for the feedback. Truly appreciate it. Loving this thing still. 🙂
Hi,
I wish I could say but I cannot verify unfortunately. 😕
I got mine on ebay, and I really like it. It is heavy IMO, mine is for the S9plus. Still experimenting with the track pad.
I could definitely see that with the larger Plus. However, now that I think about it, I kind of wish I went for the Plus. I think it's perfect size for tablet use or computer use. 🙂
Great , but my question is
Can i type with this keyboard in another language like farsi or Arabic?
And in another language, is key binding like windows?
Hi! Great review! I just bought it and I don't get the red led indicating full charge. It was charging for 8 hours. Someone with the same issue? Thanks my friends!
I have this case, but please tell me someone knows how to keep the rgbs on?
Will the S Pen for Tab S9 be compatible with the Tab S8?
I own both this dexnor keyboard and samsung's original one for my S9 FE and I don't really get all the hype for dexnor's product. I mean, the backlight is really cool, but that's all. It makes your tablet bulky, heavy, does not protect it at ANY side, discharges the tablet's battery faster and has an internal battery that needs recharging too, Last but not least it's being sold at the same price. Nonsense.
Hi Andrea,
Thanks for stopping by and providing your thoughts. I think your thoughts are valid reasons as to why you might now want this product. They are actually concerns I had initially, especially the lack of protection on the sides since I do remove the tablet occasionally and am afraid I may drop it or bump it against something.
I also came from a case that had all around protection and made it more slim.
I will say, I like this kit more for when I need to write quickly and don't want to fire up my Window's PC. For example, this comment I'm posting comes from this kit and it's a much more efficient way for me to respond to you.
But again, you do have very valid points. 🙂
Considering getting the S9+ and looking for a keyboard, The main issue I have with the Dexnor is that you can't really use the table without the keyboard (by flip it). You need to un-attach the tablet to use it, let's say, laying down in bed. Would you have other high quality covers for the S9+ you would recommend?
This or the Doqo one?
Just bought the Tab S9+ and I'm interested it trying Dex mode, and I think this keyboard will be a great addition to the Tab. A little pricey, but it sounds like it's worth it.
Hi Grayton,
Dex Mode is pretty cool on this tablet because it changes the User Interface to a style more like what you would expect on a actual computer like a Chromebook or Windows PC.
And the benefit of this keyboard is the ability to turn Dex mode on and off quickly with a shortcut.
I do agree this keyboard is a bit pricey, but I think it's a great option for someone who wants a laptop experience, has the tablet already, but doesn't want to spend even more to buy an actual laptop. 🙂
Did you experience speed problems while scrolling with the touchpad? I read the that it's moving too fast while scrolling and there is no way to fix it
Hi Gabriel,
That's a great question! I just checked, and if you go to your settings and search for "Wheel scrolling speed," you can adjust it from slow to fast. ⚙️
The only issue you might run into is that it may already be set to slow, which was the case for me, but your results may vary. 🤔
On the other hand, you might get lucky, and it could be set to fast, in which case you can slow it down. 🤞 #TechTip #ScrollingSpeed
how come they dont make a keyboard for s9 ultra like this?
Hello Jaison,
I was wondering the same thing! I am not entirely sure why this model is not offered for the Ultra.
However, I have a theory; it might be too heavy.
I believe a very similar option would be great for those looking for a laptop form factor though!
@TechCrackedWeekly As soon as I purchased the tablet, I found myself consistently seeking out this keyboard.
@@jaisonjames2568 I don't blame you at all. So would I. 🙂
Agree... Big negative for me. Will get an s9 plus soon because it's just so versatile and portable compared to the ultra. Comfort using on lap/couch is achieved with this case.
They don't have one for the S9 ultra...😔😔😔
Where is the delete key????? Backspace is obvious...what about DELETE?
My tablet cant find the case through Bluetooth. Any ideas??
Hi Taug,
You may have tried this already, but I'd try to cycle bluetooth off and then back on.
You can also try restarting your tablet by powering off and back on.
I'd also check and see if you have multiple bluetooth devices paired and maybe disconnect from them and/or remove unused ones.
If there are also plenty of other bluetooth devices broadcasting as well, it may be hard for the tablet to find the keyboard.
I hope some of this helps. Please let us know. Maybe someone can also provide helpful tips. 🙂
I beg you, as a popular creator almost 15k subscribers and a yacht as a house and Ferrari, please as Dexnor to make one for Tab s9 ultra
Haha. I don't even have toy replicas of those things. 😂
I wish a could fishnsteve. Unfortunately I don't have the time or budget at the moment. But I'm always looks to cover more things in the future and when I can, I would love to do so. 🙂
