There are matte finish screen protectors to cut down on the glare for outdoor use or under bright lights. I’m not sure how color accuracy is affected but I would think there are better ones that have minimal impact.
I have Tab 18, and it's very good, but the Blacview customer support is non-existent, even for minor questions or issues. Security updates are not available for Blackview either.
I prefer tablets for travel & as an additional work tool for photography. The android eco system is far better developed in India & there are some bank etc softwares that work better on the android eco system. The hardware that the tablet is giving is impressive. I have the lenovo p12 which is 12.7 inches & a 3k screen. Price is also around 300$ & it uses a JBL quad audio system. I tend to use ANC yamaha headphones which give excellent immersive sound so in a train or plane one neither disturbs nor gets disturbs. Case with backlit magnetic keyboards go for around 40+ $ in the android eco system but lenovo offers their own at higher rates with better ergonomic design. The lenovo can play the sony 4k files which was one of the criteria for getting the tablet. To be able to see the high res visual content from the camera.

But in the 12 inch range the blackview has excellent price to hardware value. The main advantage of the lenovo is the screen & that it can output the4k footage. I was just about to post a comment about the P12 also. I don't own it.... yet, but when I compared the price here in Canada ($450 with pen and keyboard) with what the Blackview would cost with pen and keyboard ($482), I not sure that the Blackview is a better choice.
@@Euphabone The blackview gives more ram & one can put a sim card. Screen is much better on the lenovo p12. I have had the tablet for about 6 months & it works well. I had a 10.4 inch HD tablet & I updated mainly for the screen and it does make a huge difference particularly for high res files. Also for reading.

@@GoneFishin247 ifixit and other 3rd parties carry spares for iPads going back to iPad 6. Same is true with Samsung where you can find decent 3rd party spares to repair your older tablets/devices. Atleast with major manufacturers there is a way to atleast get batteries replaced 3-4 years down the line unlike smaller OEMs who may not have that option.
The other issue with the IPad is the apps are closed source not open as is the software updates. With an Android tablet the Android OS is open source and you get newer apps and games all the time. Plus the other disadvantage with an iPad is you can’t add more storage capacity like you can on an Android tablet.
I bought Tab 18 .3 months ago..I am using till now but sometimes my Tab screen unresponsive and I had to force restart..Anybody having the same problem ? How to fix it without restarting..annoying fr
@@DustinAbbottTWI yupp..sometimes when im playing for exp mlbb, i couldn’t touch or move anything when the screen unresponsive suddenly…but they said i might turned on stylus pen mode..but that features doesnt have in setting..:)
Probably not. The biggest issue I have when considering the no-name brand tablet is the OS and security updates. It virtually doesn't exist. You are stuck with the software as is. You do get app updates but you just can't trust the Android version as the version gets older. It's fine for just gaming, but I would think twice if you use it for work or any financial related such as accessing your bank accounts.

@@morvegil Depends what you mean by powerful. I am using the lenovo 12 (not pro version which has an oled screen) which I got new for 300$. About 1200$ less than an Ipad pro. Unless one has specific use for the m2 chip - a lot of the other hardware is equivalent. High end screens - audio - wireless - pen - storage - ram. The choice is huge on the android platform & the lesser known companies like the above tablet reviewed are giving an excellent price to performance. Also addons can be significantly cheaper.

Yes, I noticed that the last update I received for my Tab 18 was in 2023.

I haven't tested those pieces of software, so I can't answer that. You might want to ask Blackview.
Hopefully couple of years down the line spares for repairs will be available with this tablet as is the case Apple and Samsung devices.

Yes, you should be able to do a clean transfer. Most of that process is automated now.

Ive been looking for a Android Tablet that beats Ipad. I prefer Android to Apple, but it seems Ipad is still king.
Yes and no. I love my iPad, but the cost is ridiculous. I could have three to four of these Black view Tabs for the price of my iPad setup.
