What I don’t understand and no one ever explains is how to keep the club from hitting the ball thin. Since the ball is on the ground and the club is descending on a path to strike the ground 3-4” past the ball, logic dictates the clubs leading edge would hit the ball thin every time, especially with a high lofted club. To avoid that from happening it would require a tremendous amount of forward shaft lean- which obviously isn’t the case. So whazzup?
