There's actually a reskin mod for the basic grenade launcher that's exactly that; the Scottish Reserve, a crate full of scrumpy bottles that you throw one by one, with the reload being you having a first person drink.

I may not be the Doctor you're looking for, but a lot of those explosions sound like they're from Half-Life. (The Episodes have a lot of neat explosion SFX! :D)
