Would you still recommend the 7T pro in 2020? The 8 Pro hasn't been launched in India yet, too many delays making me think again if the 7T pro is worth taking now.
Indian here. I think the 7 pro at 43k for the 8/256 model is definitely worth it in 2020. 7T pro was a tiny upgrade and doesn't justify the 5k higher price and gets too close to the 8 pro price. If you really want the best camera, wireless charging, IP rating, 5G then wait for the 8 pro. If not the 7 pro is excellent. One less update though ofc

Oneplus 8 pro is awesome and all. But oneplus needs to improve on their sale structure all over the world especially in India where pro version hasn't been released yet after 2 months of launching of phone.
The major reason for the hold was the china issue. They were waiting for the resources to manufacture (at-least assemble) the devices in India. Also marketing strategy, you don't want to launch your best lineup when the entire nation is emotional.

X55 modem is OTA upgradeable. But only the VZW 8 has the antennas for mm wave G5 and hence has an unique larger case. But all One+ 8 will have mid and sub 6 G5.
That's right, the speakers of this op8 pro are impressive, even more so if you complement it with the Dolby Atmos program they sound more spectacular, like its screen, design, speed, 120hz in QHD +, etc etc, without a doubt a beautiful and powerful smartphone .
Don’t u think warp charger will degrade batteries faster ? Btw ... wasn’t it updated to support better palm detection? How come the video is so bad and choppy running with the latest snapdragon?
I have used ONeplus phones a lot & after using Iphone 11 for 6 months now, I think Iphone is having less features, slow internet bad but manageable display. But the camera is one of the most important thing of any phone today, is so good here on the Iphone the I happily sacrifice all those features which are less useful.
I know that Connectivity Varies with Mobile Carriers, but could you do a possible Wifi and whatever carrier you have review? In my experience Samsung's antennas are far superior to other manufacturers. I live in the Vermont mountains and less than 1 mile can be the difference between have 1 bar of service that works and holds a call, to having no service at all. Connectivity is very important to me, how far does the phone hold Signal, and is it a usable signal (call, text, google search, etc.).
This phone is what alot have asked for and the price difference is not that huge considering other rivals offeering way less for a higher price. I bought mine in eBay. The seller sent me 1 day later to my purchase. I will have the phone this Friday in my hands. By the way, the price is lower , for example I got the 8gb ram/ 128 gb version for $830 , the phone is totally new and the seller is highly recommended! Check it out.
wouldve been nice if the basic Oneplus 8 had stayed with the pop up camera. Great upgrade screen wise to the oneplus 7 pro which is too dim. I've been struggling to get my panel fixed due to burnt icons on the display.
Does or really charge wirelessly at 5 watts from fast chargers (15 watt)?? I have 3 wireless fast chargers already and I would maybe buy one OnePlus charger, but they are prohibitively expensive imo.
I bought the regular OP8 and the only complain I have is the camera, it falls behind my pixel 4xl and my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I wish Oneplus focus more in the camera department.
Just saying, Pixels don't force you to use gestures.. It literally gives you options to use buttons in the gesture settings. I think reviewers should take care about statements they make, after all a lot of people make purchases based on those statements. With that being said, can't wait for my OP 8 Pro :D
Hey thanks for that. When the Pixel 4 came out the option was removed. I guess they heard the complaints. Hadn't noticed they brought it back. Appreciate the clarification.
What about that 5G antena? Is it just a marketing exercise, or will it actually work in European carriers? I don't change phones very often so I like them to be as future proof as possible. Could someone shed some light?
I had mine since launch in UK, my first phone with a curved screen and I hate it, I am using the latest os, I'm still getting rediculusly many accidental touches, I can't wait to sell this off once the iPhone 12 pro comes out
Does 120 Hz display really a considerable factor or it's just a marketing hype? I didn't even feel a difference between the 60hz that I am having now and 90hz that I had before this.
His comments on the high refresh rate in the display killing battery is why I'll wait a few more gens. That's one of only a few reasons I'd upgrade from my 6t but it's battery is a monster and I'm happy so no go on the 8 or 8 pro
I went from a 6t to the 8 pro and get better battery life even with 1440 at 120 then I did on my 6t. Definitely a worthy upgrade. I'm at 70% with 2 hours of screen time
Honest review after reasonable period of time! First class:) althought 8pro is definitely great phone, still the price on this moment does not reflect true value. Most probably OnePlus will understund this after some time...
I still think those high megapixel sensors are a gimic. Not seeing anyone delivering really good photo with them. Vs Pixel, iPhone and Sony Xperia 1 ii all still using 12mp. The Sonybao far seems to be very good video and photo

Where can I buy one?? Tired of waiting for stock in their website
I bought mine in eBay. The seller sent me 1 day later to my purchase. I will have the phone this Friday in my hands. By the way, the price is lower , for example I got the 8gb ram/ 128 gb version for $830 , the phone is totally new and the seller is highly recommended! Check it out.
Why 4K video is stuttering a little bit?
You don't have to use the gestures on the pixel. You have the choice of you want to use the buttons. 🤔🤔
I like when you pronounce your name
wouldve been nice if the basic Oneplus 8 had stayed with the pop up camera. Great upgrade screen wise to the oneplus 7 pro which is too dim. I've been struggling to get my panel fixed due to burnt icons on the display.
Good review 👍..
Does or really charge wirelessly at 5 watts from fast chargers (15 watt)?? I have 3 wireless fast chargers already and I would maybe buy one OnePlus charger, but they are prohibitively expensive imo.
yep. just 5 watts from standard fast chargers. Only get that 35 watts from their proprietary charger.
it does like 160mbps at 4k60, how is that not better than everything else?
my only problem with it is the lack of sdcard and 1080p ffc
Is someone able to explain to me how we won't be able to use this phone on the network data next year? I kinda got lost...
I had mine since launch in UK, my first phone with a curved screen and I hate it, I am using the latest os, I'm still getting rediculusly many accidental touches, I can't wait to sell this off once the iPhone 12 pro comes out
Curved screens look cool but they're not that practical.
p2ayer finally someone mentions about the curved screen accidental presses
I think the cameras are better than s20 (except videos)??
Finally someone who has seen some actual comparison and came out of bubble that iphone and samsung are best in photography .
Anybody knows when the dual sim will be enabled?
Yes those megapixels dont make a difference but the sensor size does . Dont fall for the megapixels but you should consider sensor sizes.
You are giving a 2 month review and we here in India have not even got One sale of OnePlus 8 pro yet 😭
Yes😭. This not good for one plus . They think Indians are looser. They will start sale aftr 2 month. We want to buyt that .No dont buy let's wait for 8t pro
@@veralevel9035 you're 100% wrong, OnePlus India delayed their sale because there was a hardware issue in op8 pro display ...they just took some time to fix it
I really like and want this phone but do I buy a phone from a company that has no presence in my country? I'm undecided if to buy this or the
OnePlus X Fortnite.
No lie I got my OnePlus8 from T-Mobile for 450, under 500, I think the employee screwed up big time but after I paid that I feel even more happy about my OnePlus8 5g.
