The rear motors also have bad hall sensors and will make the grinding noise like lose magnets or chewed upplanetary gears but its the hall sensor magnets, i have had my rear hub core placed after 50 miles because of it.
BTW, You running the red light is just wrong! That is an expensive ticket! Bicycle or not, you need to follow the rules of the road. We don't want them to regulate ebikes even more or better yet, make them illegal.

The battery estimator is doing its job correctly. It's reading voltage. The problem is is that it's a lithium ion battery...pretty much a flat discharge curve. The voltage stays high into the majority of the discharge and falls off quickly toward the end. The only way to measure lithium batteries accurately is with a shunt...and that would be a trick with an ebike...especially if you ever removed the battery.
You probably wont believe me but driving my small car, riding my 275cc motor scooter, the carbon road racing bicycle or my 60v 2800w e-scooter, all take the same time to get the 12 miles to work. And that is optimising the distance, the traffic and sometimes the terrain, to get the best time. I gave up on using public transport 2 years ago...... 2 buses and a train one-way, taking double the time, was a real hassle and no fun.
Hey I’m looking to get this ebike to get to and from work which is a total of 53 miles, I’ve heard people saying there is nothing but problems with the controllers and both motors. Just watched a video where a real battery geek tested cells for performance, very long detailed video. But one thing is interesting, or maybe vital to know, battery range and what the bike tells you is misleading. He explains and shows why when your display reads 50 percent full you will not get the same distance from the half you have left as the half from full. In fact he quotes a 50 mile range suron that gets 30 for the 1st 50 percent but 20 for the remaining 50 percent. This applies to all batteries and is based on accurate voltage measurements, not bars on the display. There is more info than you can absorb from his tests really but voltage sag is hugely different from one cell type to another too. That might explain big differences in throttle responses.
Since the battery showed 97% after that work and back, you should get a volt meter and show the real discharge of the battery. I am currently on the fence with this bike, would love to get one but it seems like it may fall apart in a year.
3:07 i don't mind 30FPS, but technically speaking, you can always shoot 60FPS at daytime, and 30FPS at nighttime, and you just need to double the fps of your 30FPS footage (a program just duplicates every frame, so you end up with 60 instead of 30fps(of course it still feels like 30fps video if you dont do any interpolation). I don't know what software do you use, but this way you can stitch together 30fps+60fps videos.
BEWARE!!! I own this bike and 3 of their single motor A8's I had several issues from the single motor A8' but This dual motor A8 has been a piece of junk! Have nothing but issues. Aniioki tries to help but cant get it right. I am only getting 38mph out of the dual motor. a lot less then the 45mph they say, You should also do the range test. Iam 160 lbs. 63yo, I ride easy on my bikes, in 2 or 3 speed a lot and only getting 50 to 60 mile tops, also way short of there 100 mile claim. I also had several other issues with this bike. Dont waste your money i have one the A8 pro awd. And nothing but problems. 3 controllers 2 front forks and a 3rrd one hydraulic one but i had to pay $200. For shipping maybe now i can ride this thing off road . the air front shocks knock so bad its terible .
This is not a class 3 bike in California. A class 3 bike cannot be above 750 watts and over 28 MPH. This bike is considered a e-moto, which requires a M1 or M2 license and the bike needs to be registered with the DMV. This is the info i read from the CHP website.
Its a 60ah battery you're dealing with. I have an Aniioki AQ177 Pro Max with the same battery, and while it goes by bars instead of percentage, i can usually go around 30-35 miles before i lose the FIRST battery bar. So your display is probably right.
Called them about the speed issue. Im having the same issue, along with other issues. They said the controller is bad and they were sending out a new one. That was weeks ago. It's a great bike when it works. When it doesn't, you will be waiting. You can also change the battery percentage to voltage in the settings.
60fps is dope and provides great video stability. Glad your using it. Dont listen to those who say that 60fps is not needed. 30fps is like the minimum and 24fps is a jittery mess for PEVs.
Aren't you suppose to press a "set" button for your desired cruise control speed? Your cruise control might be on, but you need to press a button to lock your speed. That's how I think it works even with cars.

And when you're riding home from work at night, people will have a very hard time seeing you (if they're even looking, which most aren't). And late at night is when all the drunk drivers are out. Grizzly bars and seat were not perfect for me and made the bike feel to unstable. Dual motor ebikes have come along way and they have gotten better. This handlebar setup works great and it's comfortable.

The seat height is the same on the grizzly and this, both about 33". Also depending on how you mount and dismount the bike, the aniioki is probably easier overall because the lowest point right above the battery is shorter than 33". Both are on the taller side though.

I own 3 a8 promax, I ha e the 52v black the 48v grey and just got the dual motor. All I can say is that the dual motor is a beast. Love these bikes

I believe it's 30amp dual controllers for the grizzly, I believe the x class has a higher amp controller for some reason using the same motor.

Grizzly bars and seat were not perfect for me and made the bike feel to unstable. Dual motor ebikes have come along way and they have gotten better. This handlebar setup works great and it's comfortable.
@@MrCentralDriver yes you're right but they were designed to be bicycles and the grizzly has the stem the same way once they start making it look like a motorcycle then it'll look like a duck and if it quacks like a duck then it must be a motorcycle hahaha look I don't want the government on my behind about registering my bicycle because all the government wants us for is money to pay for their dumb blank bills and I would refuse to pay registration on my bicycles no way no way in hell
The seat height is the same on the grizzly and this, both about 33". Also depending on how you mount and dismount the bike, the aniioki is probably easier overall because the lowest point right above the battery is shorter than 33". Both are on the taller side though.

Nice. Not sure why you e-bike vloggers never feature whether the seat and handlebars can rise. At 5’10” I’d want to sit higher not in circus clown mode.

no those are the group rides that people take over the streets and people call the police and they get involved. my riding even though i don't recommend what i did in this video. I did not cause any type of problem on the road with drivers or traffic in general.
