I've been on Presonus since V2. Enter Logic Drummer... Immediately had me. Then they launched the Session Player... for a guitarist it is great for composing... change kits, piano's, basses... fabulous. The price is just fantastic. So I've gone full circle. I started off on C-Lab, which was a forbear of Logic - switched to hardware recorders for a spell - then got into Pro Tools on Tiger. Presonus was very cost effective compared to what Digidesign did to users, bringing in Avid - and now, I'm planning my way back to Logic. It works better for my needs at this late stage.
I've been using studio one pro since it came out . I paid for every upgrade but this seems wrong that a totally new person can buy it for $199.00 and I still have to pay $149.00 for up grade . not cool bro not cool ,it should be free to all pro 6 users . Reply
An Apple Silicon Mac Mini is not that expensive, and will run rings around a comparable Intel Windows PC. And students get a discount as well. If there is a price difference you will more than pay for the Mac in a couple of years, just by not having to pay for the software updates.
Not a ios user which sadly rules out Logic out of my choices Love studio one and normally upgrade every year. But whilst its undoubedly adding some attractive new features, thats coming at the expense of improving it at a base level. I became frustrated with it so spent my upgrade money on a crossgrade to Cubase and easy to see for the things important to me its the better platform as covered the basics much better. I'm guesing due to the coding it's expensive to address the fundamentals in SO so will see how these quarterly upgrades bring before investing further with Presonus seeing its effectively double the price but it's delivering not what I'm looking for.
I didn’t feel it was a clickbait title because clearly much of this update was aimed at doing what logic does and perhaps even doing it better than logic. I meant it sincerely at a least… as for starting the stream after the downloads worked, they said on the site that it would start working momentarily… and misjudged it.

I agree, nobody's talking about this
Fully aligned with your statement, poor manner to reward customer loyalty. May be the right time to look at other alternatives…
splice integration is just insane!! i wish logic can do the same.....regards
the intro is about 1hr:15 mins long guys.

That’s a really good point! Hmmm, I may have to change how I talk about that.
I bought an M1 (refurbished) for under $500. Logic will be great on there. And I never venture into Windows anymore. Too many variables.
