My last client insisted on having everything together in a cramped style because she felt it was the only way to get everything that she wanted to say across to her audience. So, I did what was asked. However, I did in a "before and after" (an ode to you, dear friend) and asked which she preferred. "I see your point," was the response. I feel it is important for us designers and creators to really emphasize everything by using mock-ups along with the why in every possible setting for our our clients to understands why we do what we do. Excellent tutorial, mate.
Yes that's a really great tactic to do (if you have time to make a before and after design). Clients often don't have an eye for design, and so it helps to literally show them what is what
Satori these videos are amazing broo! The amount of value these hold is immense. The fact that you make these videos so interactive gives a very pleasant experience ❤️ more power to you bud! These helps me out a ton as a starting design student.
Hi There! I really enjoyed the video but at 3:44, When you were talking about passive white space the label seems to say active white space. That got me slightly confused;;
Having done alot of large text designs, MICRO white space is something that I've often overlooked! Seeing the examples put forth really drove home the point! Will be extremely mindful moving forward! Thank you for this eye opening video!
Hello sir. I appreciate the information that you are conveying. But you still have not broken it down enough. I know I need to consider micro and macro space. But how do I determine how much space to use? How many pixels equals good spacing? How do we actually plan out a design with these principles in mind? What are the concrete steps to take to ensure that a design is cohesive and tight and makes good use of space? What distinctions are there for print vs web vs digital artwork as far as spacing is concerned? I appreciate that you are showing us the principles to consider but I am still mystified as to the application. Do I eyeball it or is there a formula to follow? I really need to know this stuff. Maybe its just me maybe its maybelline
dear satori, how should we learn theoretical knowledge? What are graphic design resources at university? because I'm a civil engineer but my dream is to be a graphic designer 🙇🙇and your understanding of graphics is really different and I embrace that a lot. 👏🏻🙌🏻
Hi Satori, Thank you so much for another great tutorial. Can you please let me in process of making your tutorial how many and which software you use?after effect premier pro...or any additional software .? Thank you
The 12 principles of design cover all of this doesn't it? When I think about space, I think of Proximity, Hierarchy, Alignment and other design principles.

Hi Satori, Thank you so much for another great tutorial.
Can you please let me in process of making your tutorial how many and which software you use?after effect premier pro...or any additional software .?
Thank you
This was great. But how do i define the exact numbers of this space? For example pixels on a webpage
You don't need to be that accurate about it, unless you are making something that needs to be precise. In that case, pixels would be just fine.
From which playlist of yours, i should start, please
interesting !
