Exactly, we are making a cartoonish series in Unreal and the skies are one of our worst enemies to get the austethics and even the lighting right.

This is a great tutorial thank you so so much for sharing :D One nit-pick I have is that it took me a while to realize that I couldn't get the Mask Editor to work because you forgot to mention that you have baked out all your curvature, position, and other maps before this tutorial even began. I was able to work past it but I was not in the know at the time to get those generators running.

You can alt click the mask that you want to visualize so that you don't have to change the view in the drop-down menu :)

So i was wondering i know substance is an industry standard but i am on a very tight budget..i found a program called Armor paint thats free it is for making pbrs also quixel mixer is another option and of course theres always blender texture and vertex painter which i know these are not industry standard but if you cant afford substance painter monthly fee which one is the best option ??

That is footage from a Studio Ghibli film if im not mistaken. They make fantastic movies animated on something called "OpenToonz" which is likely where that grass was animated.
