I like that the deer quietly saunters up to nibble on the flowers. Gives the memorial area a pleasant link to nature.

I can't believe it's been 20 years since John Ritter passed away. Watching you go to his grave site and place those flowers really hit hard, brought me to tears. He was such a special person. I adored him in Three's Company, one of my all-time favorite shows. Thank you honoring him for all of us.

Went on several school field trips to there in the late 70s early 80s. These videos bring back good memories of a special place. Another good job Adam, bet if you had gone there as a kid you'd love and respect it even more than you do now. 👍👍

Hey Adam! My wife and I met you in the elevator yesterday (Monday) on our way to breakfast. Super cool guy. I was a tad struck with nervousness cause I’ve watched you nearly every day for like 10 years. I even showed her the BTTF spot in the structure cause you made it known to me in a few videos. Thanks for all you do and you continue to help people remember that there are amazing things everywhere. You encourage me to always go out and do these things and explore. Thanks!
Oh and you’re doing great on your weight loss journey! Keep it up.

60 years ago, my mom, sister, and I rode a train from Evansville, IN, to Los Angeles to reunite with my father who had gone out there a few months before to find a job. We stayed there for almost 10 years until mom became homesick for her family. We did make several trips back east on planes, trains, and automobiles. Whenever I smell diesel exhaust, my mind takes me back to that first train trip. Thanks for the memories.

Woo 22 years ago we were at WDW when everything happened. I was shaving in front of the Today Show on tv and the reports started coming in. We went to Animal Kingdom and went on Safari and were in our seats for the tough to be a bug show. A cast member came out and said “due to events in the world today the park is closing please proceed to the exit”. Everyone was stunned there was some nervous laughing and he repeated the same message. It was eerie walking out of the park what talking there was, was in hushed tones. Never will forget

I love Travel Town. I ride one of the 3 Griffith Park trains at least once a month, and it's honestly one of my secret favorite things to do in all of L.A. Also both of my parents and many loved ones are at that Forest Lawn too, so I know it all too well. My aunt worked at the hospital and she was there the day Ritter passed. I think I'll go pay him my respects this morning too. Thanks for covering my SoCal Woo 💚✌️

Really great video. I've always loved that you still hold a place in your heart for John Ritter. I, like many, was devastated. When I go to watch Three's Company I start laughing just reading the episode description. Him and Don Knots were some of the best duos.

Three’s Company has been my favorite sitcom since the 80’s and I originally found your channel after you visited several locations from the sitcom years ago. I’m glad you visited John Ritter’s grave. A few months ago when I was getting ready to move out of state, I decided it was about time to do something I’d been planning to do for years… visit the grave of Buster Keaton. I’m a huge fan of his films. And I noticed on the map of the general area where he was buried that there were some other favorite comedians… Marty Feldman, Stan Laurel and John Ritter. Well, there were things left on each of the other graves, but it was so sad to see nothing on his. I didn’t have anything to leave, either… I’d gone there with the idea of leaving a flat hat on Buster’s grave but the signs there said not to leave anything like that, so I took a photo and took the hat and donated it instead (it’s not my best one). So I just took a few minutes at John’s grave and moved on.
And I also was asleep when the towers got hit. But I was on the west coast and slept in, so when I woke up I tried to call my husband as I often did in the mornings and had a hard time getting through. When I said as much he kinda softly asked if I’d turned on the tv yet. I think he knew the answer to that but when I said I hadn’the advised me to do so and we hung up.
So I sat there on the floor, 8 months pregnant with a preschooler running around me, watching what turned out to be replayed footage because by then, the towers had already fallen. I still had the same experience, though, because I turned it on and saw the first building spewing smoke. I remember thinking, “Again?” because someone had bombed the WTC at some point in recent years. Then I saw another plane fly in and hit the second tower.
I think we all spent the next weeks and months in shock. There was this really sad song, “I am Overcome” or something like that, and I dunno if it was about the event or just seemed to be, but I kept hearing it and it started kinda freaking me out… heard it playing in a store and had to leave it. It was all just pure trauma for so many people.

Blood on the Saddle is my favorite part of Country Bear Jamboree, & I like it even more knowing it's Tex Ritter, John Ritter's dad, who sang it! I'm really sad they are changing the show, as well. Hope it doesn't have the same outcome as Disneyland's Country Bear after they changed the show. That was the beginning of the end for that show, & I fear the same will be true for the Magic Kingdom show. Glad I got to see it this past February when we took a trip to WDW! 😊

You should take the LA Metro subway/light rail around to some fun spots you haven't shown before. Now that would be a train adventure! Or take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner (Lots of Santa Fe Railway history on that line) down to Orange, or San Diego County or the Metrolink. An Amtrak journey would be cool to see!
