Welcome to The Frey Life daily vlogs! We are Peter & Mary, a married couple in our early 30's, showing the ups and downs of everyday life with #CysticFibrosis, a genetic lung disease that Mary was born with. In August 2019, Mary started a new CF medication that changed the trajectory of our future, and life has changed dramatically - including our son, Elijah, joining our family in December 2021. We also have an adorable standard poodle, Oliver, and a hairless sphynx cat, Harry. It's our hope that these videos can be an encouragement to to celebrate the little things in life and find joy amidst a world full of hard realities!

That transplant week was so scary for all of us who love you guys. I am beyond grateful that four years later you have Eli and Sweetie (on the horizon) and that you are stable and healthy. I noticed the Sunny Side Up shirt as soon as you shared the clip of 4 years ago and enjoyed laughter when you realized it. Thanks for the laughs.

Elijah is a blessing you never expected to happen!!! Thank goodness for Trikafta!!! It totally changed your life!! I remember when you had many hospital stays for bad infections and just look at you now! You haven’t been hospitalized in a few years! God is so good!

Wow 4 years ago we could never have fully imagined what a difference trikafta would make for Mary and just how sick she was. I’m so very thankful for transplant donors but I’m also thankful that you could wait longer before needing one ☺️.
I can imagine what a difference either that the course of miracles Mary
Has experienced in that time span from the frequent coughing spells and choking to death and frequently hospital stays and having a service dog guidance in public to today having a complete turnaround in energy level
And personality and recovery to the point of adopting a child thanks to
Trikafta a miracle for sure and changes to overall mood of the vlog series . to bring on these next chapters that were about to see in the future.
one of the reasons I relate you your vlogs is I struggle with a pain issue in my right hip and leg and my left foot as well. I have two children who are the light of my life. They are 4 & 7 and all I desire to do is ride a bike with them, hike, so a cartwheel and go on walks/ explore. I am limited by my pain, moving makes it worse. while watching you talk about this anniversary I was reminded
that God heals and if He can give you trifecta,
and the beautiful blessing of Elijah He can heal me in His perfect timing. I also loved watching Elijah waddle around. I miss those days when my babies were that small. It’s such a sweet time ♥️enjoy as they all say, but really. 😉 my waddler is a little woman now and my other waddler is having deeper
conversations with me every night. 💛💛💛

Elijah’s joy was so fun to watch. And Peter had the same shirt on as the four years ago.
Wow - chills! God is truly so gracious and merciful, both then and now. Today I am celebrating my two year anniversary of having my surgical feeding tube placed, which changed my life for the better.
Peter, please keep your eyes on the road when driving with your precious family xx
Both of you have brought that joy to Elijah's life. He was extremely lucky that you chose to adopt Elijah.
That week of transplant evaluation was so grueling.

Elijah's joy is so precious and pure. He has become an excellent walker too. Thank you for sharing bits and pieces of your wonderful life. I have enjoyed the journey so far.

Fun at the museum with Elijah 😊 so cute. Memory lane transplant evaluation. I remember trying to send Mary sympathy card because she was so upset after exercise evaluation. I was very ill my self then and wasn't working. You two are truly amazing God bless.

Ive seen a lot of miracles that this family have experienced and overall
Mood of the freylife series have come a long ways with the adoption of
Elijah in late 2021 and soon perhaps baby number 2 on the way and Mary's trikafta treatment miracle helping to point that Oliver is no longer
Needed as a service dog status for everyday life.. And its keeping Mary out of the hospital for the time being.. And no longer needing that vibration vest treatment full time everyday..
Trikafta has been such a blessing xxxxxx

That youngster needs a hat on his little head. He can get sunburned on his head just as easily as he can on his face. UV rays penetrate even on a cloudy day. He is darling. You both have been blessed with such a precious little soul!

Not to bring the room down, but what struck me most was how dehumanized and spent Mary felt during the evaluation. I sincerely hope that every medical professional who needs to see it does see it and alter their methods.
That anniversary date of your transplant evaluation is the same date that my youngest son was robbed & murdered...May 13, 2008. Anthony was 25 years old & a precious soul. Truly what God's mercy did for me, and my family is still felt to this day. I'm so happy that I've watched your channel over the years, and can see the beauty of God's mercy for your family too. He is able to do all things magnificently! 🙏🏼💕

That means you guys have been living in north carolina for that same length of time as well . .here we are today you have now a 1 1/2 year old little boy and soon prehaps baby 2 in the future. Hi I been following for years I been thinking how much you have grown health wise with having cystic fibrosis you have taken care of yourself and how god has blessed you with Elijah he is so special and so cute god is good and you guys are so inspiring to me to get to where I need to
I live in a group home and I was also adopted and have a lot mental illness but I’m getting better can’t fix it but I can level it out I’m adopted from Romania and small place cluj and my mom and dad are so good to me glad that you are doing well health wise and that u can start a family
Wow it feels strange to think i have been watching you longer than 4years, probably more like 5/6 years When you started talking i was like pretty sure u passed out the 1st day.

Hello marry I love and enjoy on your videos. I love your cat named Harry, I was kind of wondering, is it because with you having a naked cat can you not have cats that have hurt even possibly the dander acting up? Your cystic fibrosis were a lot of the sheadding
She has a naked cat because Peter is allergic to cats that have hair
I didnt know Peter had cat allergies is the reason they adopted a sphinx
