Welcome to The Frey Life daily vlogs! We are Peter & Mary, a married couple in our early 30's, showing the ups and downs of everyday life with #CysticFibrosis, a genetic lung disease that Mary was born with. In August 2019, Mary started a new CF medication that changed the trajectory of our future, and life has changed dramatically - including our son, Elijah, joining our family in December 2021. We also have an adorable standard poodle, Oliver, and a hairless sphynx cat, Harry. It's our hope that these videos can be an encouragement to to celebrate the little things in life and find joy amidst a world full of hard realities!

Elijah is such a good baby. That is awesome that he doesn't mind the plane. Watching him makes me smile and watching you Mary, and Peter with him just really pulls my heart strings since I have been watching you two, now 3 since way before you ever moved to where you live now. springs a few times and i always enjoy going there. Elijahs getting to the age to be so much fun. I love that age.

Eli is so adorable. Do you think he was a good traveler overall? My toddler nephew is an amazing traveler.
Just had a flash back to I believe it was the name reveal for Eli vlog where Mary said she was going to keep her middle name private when Mary showed the screen with all y'all's names together.
There names were taken from their driver's licenses ID cards which has all
Of their information and passports that's what came up on the screen

Interesting in flight announcement before you took off! What airline were you flying with?
When my former daughter in law went through airport security with her baby, they pulled her aside and did a blow test where they blew air on her and the baby. The baby freaked out. Was quite an ordeal.
What are robots in grocery stores? We don’t have those.

When security has the dogs out, they are looking for illegal drugs.
Interesting situation with the German Shepherd. I wonder if it was there with airport security and looking for a weapon, drugs, or a missing person potentially being trafficed? It's odd that a dog would be there for any other reason. I do know that they probably were expecting you to be quiet because German Shepard's working with police are trained to react to sudden fast movements.
These days you don't want let your guard down for any inconvenience

Do you know Eli's ethnicity? He looks just like my grandson! His mother is half white/African american, and his father is Hispanic. He has the most delicious caramel skin. Elijah looks like he would tan VERY easily! So I was just curious. If that is too personal, than I'm sorry for asking.

I have an MPH in epidemiology and I work in public health. From a science standpoint based on current evidence, the airport is where you're much more likely to catch an airborne virus like COVID-19 than in the airplane. It doesn't really make sense to only wear masks on the plane. Peter should be wearing an N95 as he doesn't have a lung disease and surgical masks do a poor job of filtering out airborne viruses. Yes, the dry air on a plane does make us more susceptible but the air filtration system is so advanced that it's one of the safest indoor places to be during a pandemic. The airport, much like the other places you've been going unmasked, is not. If you're not interested in masking to protect yourselves please mask to protect people like me.
Way you gays have a mask on only the air plane????
