@@EUROCORP2027 I would assume he means as compared to Mad Max 2 and Fury Road. For the longest time 99% of the time people were talking about Mad Max it was about 2, the aesthetic of that film has been referenced and copied so many times it's almost the entirety of "Post-Apocolyptic" as a genre.
I spent my childhood in a small rural community early 80's. For some reason this movie has always felt very homely to me. Not that we had crazy motorcycle gangs or renegade cops, but fuel crisis was often in the papers and tv, and scenery+buildings look familiar, as well as overall feel of wear and tear.
My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos, ruined dreams, this wasted land. But most of all, I remember the road warrior, the man we called Max. To understand who he was we have to go back to the other time, when the world was powered by the black fuel and the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel - gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten two mighty warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel they were nothing. They'd built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked, but nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. Cities exploded - a whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men. On the roads it was a white-line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice, and in this maelstrom of decay ordinary men were battered and smashed - men like Max, the warrior Max. In the roar of an engine, he lost everything and became a shell of a man, a burnt-out desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again.
And so began the journey north to safety, to our place in the sun. Among us we found a new leader - the man who came from the sky... the Gyro-Captain. And just as Pappagallo had planned, we traveled far beyond the reach of men on machines. The juice, the precious juice, was hidden in the vehicles. As for me, I grew to manhood, and in the fullness of time, I became the leader... the Chief of the Great Northern Tribe. And the Road Warrior? That was the last we ever saw of him. He lives now... only in my memories.
So few "heroes" in fiction as terrifying as Max. He's almost like a 80's slasher. All but a shred of his humanity is gone. He's just silent. Cold eyes like a shark. Capable of the most extreme violence. He's the Terminator made flesh.
@@KFlorent13 yeah, he was probably concerned about telling her the fact that she could've just jumped to the side of the road with the kid so she should try that next time.
Awesome edit! I thought futuristic Akira-themed visuals would be more fitting but this actually fits with the music perfectly! I love the sequence from 1:55 to 2:37 where Max loses his family and you see the cut backs to happier times - this is where old Max dies and Mad Max is born.
If anyone's curious, the guy with the shaggy hair and later bulging eyes is responsible for killing Max's family and partner, Goose. Karmic death by truck.
At this point in my life my recurring nightmare is that one day I'll listen to a Perturbator track and feel indifferent to it. It's only a nightmare...
That's because the first movie isn't a post-apocalyptic story, it's set during a peak-oil crisis where society has begun to fall apart. The nuclear war happens shortly after the end of the first movie.
Mad max is us Aussies showing the Americans how to do a stunt filled action packed film which gets the women on the edge of their seats and the blokes. I love perturbator.
+Henrik Magnusson In the first Mad Max movie the world hasn't gone entirely to hell yet. It's nearly there, but there's still some semblance of order and civilization. Max is a cop in this movie.
I think what he means is ....... back in the day we used to rent a VCR if you couldnt afford to buy one when renting video cassettes to watch movies at home . Back when TV was very limited for channels.
The first Mad Max film is incredibly underrated.
And incredibly sad. :(
Visionary movie (dystopic) and a lot to say about it. @+
Better than Beyond Thunderdome
Who said it is underrated? Is a cult classic.

it is not underrated. Half of the film is literally about nothing. It's a 90 minutes movie that feels like it's 3 hours long. Boredom incarnate.

Should have started crazy motorcycle gang by yourself.

The moment he is running to his wife and child is so emotional.
They used the same scene in The Punisher 04'
@Kleiner Helfer Wut ?
I’d also be so excited
Whoops wrong scene thought this was Liar Liar

2:58 the mixing and editing is actually perfect during this scene, holy shit
Mad Max- Good movie
Mad Max The Road Warrior- Great movie
Both Great.
Fury road-Awesome movie!
Mad Max Beyond The Thunderdome- I'm not even sure what is this
Shit An early attempt. By George Miller. Of making a "kid friendly" film. It's actually the prequel to Babe 🤣
Impactor you hit the nail right on the head !

Basically one of the best movies ever made
The best of these types came from this era
Came for the tune. Stayed for the clip.
Mad Max 1,2, (maybe)3 - certified hood classic
Mad Max: Fury road - zoomer you don`t have to be ashamed of.
3:06 THOSE EYEBALLS!!!
Awesome work putting this together, Fav movie series, and Perturbator is epic AF. The video clips seamlessly merge with this track almost perfect!
Thank you :*
Fitting avatar
This song fits unnaturally well with Max's unhinged fury
That shot of Max chasing the bike in the second half followed by the head on truck crash is so well edited to the music
one of the best movies of all time!!! and one of the best electronic composer from today!!! great work!!!!!!!
I can't play this enough times in a day. The video works so well with the music. Nice editing!
reminds me of what a great movie the first mad max was.
I am the night rider. I'm a fuel injected suicide machine. I am a rocker. I am a roller. I'm an out of controller. I'm the night rider baby!
I will think of you when I look at the night sky.
Mike P mad max the movie that first introduced us to mel Gibson !
*_MOOD_*
Immortan joe was crazier when he was younger lol
"You're the disease. I'm the cure."
My baby asked what is this. I said the future.
this was edited pretty well
Turismen I'm glad there aren't many comments because dude, you need to know, you edited this like perfectly to this song. This is pure art.
Thank you! ❤️
Amazing synchronization and specially at 1:43
My fav compilation ever!
If anyone's curious, the guy with the shaggy hair and later bulging eyes is responsible for killing Max's family and partner, Goose. Karmic death by truck.
Toe cutter is awesome
The Same actor who played him (Toe Cutter) also played the role of Immortan Joe in Mad Max Fury Road.
Chris Wilson Hugh Kease-Byrne. Was also in the 70s biker film Stone as a biker tripping out who witnesses an assassination.
I think the Raining Steel is the best Perturbator's track all times.
My favorites are Raining Steel, Technoir, Venger, Death Squad, and Humans Are Such Easy Prey. There are some great videos using these tracks.
His remix of I Am The Program is great too but Raining Steel is the best music that can be used for a chase
The breakdown of the world.
The breakdown of a man into vengeance fueled shell.
Classic Masterpiece.
Such a perfect edit to go with this song. Somebody save it before UA-cam decides to get rid of it.

That's some real 80s pouting there Mel ;)
Men that movie looks so much better with this music over the original one lol, it's unbelieable the difference.
man i wish this have the engine rev sound its gonna be mega epic :D
justice served cold
That's what hurts. It's one of our V-8's. Pursuit Special, on methane. Very toey!
Where it all began
I love Mad Max...
The Interceptor! Good music! Like like!
The first, Mad Max, confused the hell out of me. The end especially, it doesnt explain how everything dries up and, becomes what the wasteland is.

Fantastic Edit!!
The perfect blend between man and myth. Max Rockatansky is on par with Leone's Blondie, probably even better
This is fuckin' painful.
GOOD job!
Johnny The Boy didn’t even get 5 minutes- LOL!!🤣😈💥🔥👌🏽
It won't be long before our world is like mad max at the rate things are going.
Like in this movie where everything is just kind of shitty and grey, or the later movies which is all desert and people in bondage gear?
+Henrik Magnusson In the first Mad Max movie the world hasn't gone entirely to hell yet. It's nearly there, but there's still some semblance of order and civilization. Max is a cop in this movie.
Better start gearing up, if the communist no borders nutjobs ever sieze power we'll be killing each other for gasoline in no time.
Og mad max is good because its real. No cgi. Your brain knows this so it hits your flight or fight response. Like a Rollercoaster
This music sounds like Portal 2 soundtrack in some running level with propulsion gel
The knight Rider had no chance against Max (O.o)
NIGHT RIDER. That was his name. Remember him, when you look at the night sky.
Man this video is bumping mad max baby !
all movies shot in Australia but one
They don't make movies like this anymore, mostly because of how dangerous it was.
