Ohh gaman að sjá þetta, ég fór alltaf á fjöll með jeppaflotanum mínum forðum, þetta er svo gaman!!! Og adrenalínið með taugina í næsta bíl að komast yfir.... yndislegt alveg! :) Stemmarinn alltaf góður!

Why? Knowing Unimog personally, it is very uncomfortable and heavy vehicle compared to these, and too much weight very is bad on glacier, deep snow, or mud. Unimog is good if you have a need to transport something. But it would need much bigger tires than a light 4x4, in order to get as low surface pressure as these do get. And third thing, Unimog is expensive compared to these. Unimog is great work vehicle although. With the money you get unimog, you get well equipped comfortable normal 4x4.

Mattracks cost much more than tires do. Mattracks are very uncomfortable on road, they increase fuel consumption, they need more maintenance. Why to buy mattracks, if you get the same surface pressure, or even lower, with tires that don't have all these downsides?

Its not road legal in Iceland to have tracks on your car. The tires ride better, get better fuel milage, require less maintenance, less initial costs. Mattracks are a gimmick, tires have proven them to be the best solution.

Isn't it ironic how the super rich spend time and money making play out of what us blue collar types do for pay.
