Welcome! These clips are from a large video collection that is now being converted from VHS/Beta to digital many from the 70's, 80's and 90's. SADLY, I DON'T HAVE THE ORIGINAL AIR DATES! There is some viewing quality loss from the original video source due to the age of the tapes, but the performances are preserved and still a joy to view. I'm finding many lost performances from vintage R&B, Soul, Pop, Broadway, Cabaret and other performances. This channel will be the Ed Sullivan channel for the digital generation, something for everyone to enjoy. Many of the performances will be seen for the first time since they were originally televised. I will be adding many musical performances from a variety of sources that I hope you will enjoy. Please hit the like button.

Working Overtime was a good song, no better or worse than her previous mega hits. I think it flopped because radio programmers were hating on her which is one reason why I never heard the song on radio.

The song “Workin’ Overtime” was a hit reaching #3 on the R&B charts. He’s referring to the ALBUM; which is also called “Workin” Overtime” - it peaked at #116 on the US Billboard 200, earning the distinction of becoming the lowest-charting studio album of Ross' entire solo career.

He spent a lot time writing about Diana Ross because salacious crap sells. If you are Diana Ross, as well loved and jealous many are of her, anything about her is newsworthy.

Bunch of hear-say and lies, just to sell a book, even Joan who says that she meant her a few times has had good experiences and Denice Williams said in her diva stories series on you tube good things about Ms. Ross. people like to focus on the negative but I guess that's what sells books..

@@terrancemaloney29 I am not blinded by being a fan either but what I know for sure is that people say a lot of things about someone who is at the top of their game just to sell a book and a lot of that stuff I don't care about anyway I like her music and movies and her amazing career her personal life is her own....we all have some flaws..😇😏

I like RJT most recent book on Miss Ross...there's a bit more of a "seasoned" perspective. RJT has said as much.

Two people that experience “white privilege” talking about a black female, Diana Ross (b. 1944) that grew up during “SEGREGATION” that had to demand to be treated with equal respect as her white contemporaries, because she earned it.
It’s Miss Ross, not Miss Diana [because white women were referred to by their LAST name and black women by their FIRST name, such were the rules, during segregation among black and white Americans]. She had to enter through the kitchen, couldn’t stay in the hotel where she was performing. Let’s NOT forget the Civil Rights Movement that she experienced growing up.
This book is “unauthorized” and now everybody requires a Nondisclosure Agreement/Confidentiality Agreement.

Hey guys !have you taken a look at yourself and say all you have done and lived is perfect.Stop throwing stones and seeing faults in Diana Ross to bring her down. All of you are just envy of her successful life. Talk and write about yourself if you actually have something to write about in your life. You wont let this lady who has been a blessing to the world to have peace if mind.If you think you ll live your life with negativity that is your business. All was said about Michael Jackson even as he was found not guilty people still talk stuff about him.No one writes book about his good deeds only his bad. The bible says he that has no fault should be the one to cast a stone. You dont have to be a star to do good so all interviewers how many black or white kids have you sponsored in college etc Nothing and yet u think you are better than Diana ross or Michael Jackson.Get a life.Write about something meaningful if u want to write dont take easy route cos it will not get you any success.Diana Ross is a Star .And I dont care how hard it what she did to get there hence she did not kill anyone. So people get a life.

You judge her singing and yet she is still singing and with still golden voice. She interprets songs and lyric like no other singer could do.Recent singers are just full of ego ,scream to impress others and try to be like others etc but Diana is unique in her own proprietary segment that for you to do her song justice like her have to be like her and that is a selling point if you know marketing. She is a good and smart business woman. And that is her and her alone sound. So haters stop hating and look at yourself first before u point fingers at others

😂😂😂 I dont think EVERYTHING is true. But some of this makes me laugh really. But if Diana needed to recieve any karma...she definitely received it already. She's more humble now.

@@gracegreen1859 why are you even misinterpreting what I'm saying? Lol.... I said if she needed to recieve any karma. None of us are perfect and I've read enough about Diana to know she was far from it. A lot of the people at Motown needed a therapist...but that wasn't a popular thing to recieve. However...Diana Ross found ways go rise above like a boss and I adore it. She's incredible and my favorite artist. My black ass loves this black woman...so keep pushing.

@@AlkalineInsides No don't switch tunes now please stay on beat. You don't even know her and a normal person would believe the source. I have seen a lot of her interviews during her intermission at concerts for q&a and her children and friends. Aretha, Michael, Smokey, Oprah, Whitney, Beyonce etc. Like you cannot just believe everything negative someone else who meant her once at 110 years old says about a person instead of listening to the person themselves. So keep doing more research "fan".

@@gracegreen1859 what the hell are you even talking about??? I literally said I don't think EVERYTHING is true. As in the bad stuff... I know she is not perfect. But I the bad stuff people say I believe to be exaggerated. Stop what you're trying to do, because you're not interpreting what I mean correctly.

diana was always a person who lived in one world reality and the other her own internal desires, she imagined that she was and she became it. her mistreatment of others is just a reflection of her memories of how she must have been treated back in the fifties and even at the height of th e Supremes fame she knew what those in control really thought of her "JUST ANOther UPPITY".. you know what ! she carried that anger all her life. from projects to palaces. the diana ross true story.who knows what berry had those teen girls do to get theri records played. so many secrets. diana sighed in relief when she heard of mary's passing/ now so many secrets will never be known. unless Mary stil had those diaries locked away. Keep an eye on Turkessa, you see what happened to bobbi Kristina ! SECRETS DONT DIE just the messengers and those who protect them
