I love Bebe for being so nonchalant about the AS3 lipstick mystery. Although I'd have to say, it's definitely tradition to expose the lipstick choice. I mean, every episode from AS2 up to before AS3 girl group challenge did it. I think by now, most people is more or less sure that it's Trixie. Trixie herself said (and it's recorded on this channel!) in Roscoe Live Viewing of AS4 and S11 finale that it would have been rightfully her, since Kennedy and Shangela did most of the choreo according to her. But I guess there's a part of Bebe that enjoys the constant mystery of it all.
I think the DRUK episode was bad and I think you can feel it in the watch party thank you to the four queens for still pushing through

I agree with Bebe statement. not everything has to be over the top campy especially for the acting challenges. it would be nice to see them actually act like their in a show/sitcom instead of being over the top clowny in every single acting challenge

Just because British drag is camp, you make it sound like we're totally alien to fashion or glamour on this rainy island (also, take Bimini, whose vision is more fashion-forward than many of the US 'fashion queens').
In fact, much of the world, including the US, looks towards the UK for fashion inspiration. Alongside Paris and Milan, London is a cornerstone of the fashion world (NYC wishes). Peak 'Merican ignorance right there, haha. So inward-looking and blinkered 🙄
I wouldn’t be too quick to pejoratively lump all Americans together. We have a lot of different styles of drag here, and BeBe happens to be all about glamour and being regal (she probably wasn’t a great fit as a panelist for a DRUK episode). But camp is wildly popular in the US, where DRUK is the most popular international version of the show. I think Naysha was probably just trying to be gracious towards a guest.

But from the outside, a really prevailing trait for people living in the States (don’t worry Canadians, Mexicans etc., we recognise that you’re American too) is this attitude that nothing counts unless it exists/happens within your borders. It makes sense, with such a vast country with insane cultural reach and the fact that many people don’t holiday outside of the country, but still...
Also, I do think you somewhat missed the point. I know that camp drag is popular (some of the best US queens are campy). My comment was mainly geared towards the ignorant comments about British drag culture and British culture in general. Wasn’t an isolated incident either, as Naysha addresses having been subject to some backlash following last week’s comments
I’d argue that DRUK season 2 was more interesting from a fashion perspective than virtually any solitary US season. Tayce and Bimini didn’t always get it right, but the innovation, vision and point of view was all there. A’whora also turned serious looks.
Furthermore, glamour is fashion, but so is punk. I’d suggest that Ginny Lemon’s yellow croc outfits are a fashion statement in themselves. Their erasure by queens with reference points as long as my McDonald’s receipt, is, well, a bit ignorant, and from a viewing party host perspective, lazy/lacklustre. Big fucking yawn.

Bebe only watched her season of drag race and that was over 10 years ago.. and lala doesn't watch it either... I want queens who actually Watch it and have a good opinion what the point otherwise? @Raj Jae that was after bebe was called out, if you look at bebe's insta properly then you'll see there was nothing before as3. Jaida and symones seasons are the first ones she's publicly supported, and darling I didn't take a joke literally she's mentioned it in interviews but I guess your a "fake fan" for not knowing that.

I definitely have never thought BeBe wasn’t a good person and silly as hell…but still would love to know about that damn lipstick. And if she ever told the judges Aja helped her win the night Aja went home. I don’t think Aja was going to win the crown in the end but still was shady that they sent her packing because she mispronounced a name and was young.

Bebe drag came from camp it's one of the main foundations of what of what was built on. Drag was 100%camp before it was brought to America where it became more pageantry. It comes from theatre and plays where men would play all the girl roles, when they did they would look more pantomime to make fun of/ play with gender, rather than try to look fishy/like a woman. It's the American stigma that's forced the trans community's acceptance to be based on weather or not you can (pass) meaning you look so much like a woman that you can't tell. This toxic way of thinking has now been passed on to drag where everyone is trying to look like a afab queen. Where loosing the point of drag.
