    Some more obscure signs I find easier to remember if I picture BSL as like English, the result of letting ancient languages splinter, mix and evolve.
    The first 200 or so beginner words are like latin, greek and norse.
    Engineer is easy. It's not only a good representation of cogs, but it looks like it could have stemmed from the BSL word "How" as in 'how does it work?"
