I love playing against DVa, She's so mobile, so tanky, has so much damage, two lives or three, it's so fun to shoot IN THE 3.5 SECOND MATRIX
All that was true before except the 3.5 second dm
She's still too good but the nerf doesn't need to be much to make her balanced
Yeah the fact a dva can mitigate more damage than the team puts out is ridiculous
@@A_Name136Yeah they only need to reduce her armour. Like she had the highest HP pool when taking into account armour, so now with the change she has even more!! Too much!! So they just need to reduce it by like 50-75, hey maybe even 100, but what do I know, I've not given it much thought past that to be honest so I'm very much open to a civil discussion about it all

Maybe for the sake of future Heroes we are technically in that realm where defense Matrix lasts too long add cardiac overdrive doesn't last long enough
I don't bother shooting at Dva anymore, I just swap to someone who can bypass her dm it's just not worth it
This is the exact problem. Buffing tanks doesnt help, it only encourages people even more to hardcounter them which is the exact thing everyone hates when playing tank.
@@tobiasbayer4866why then blizzard doesnt buff a tank that is enjoyable to play against, like winston, sigma, rein, junkerqueen, wrecking ball there are so much options but they decided that they just make hard meta mauga, orisa, dva, rammatra and so on the less skill full tanks at the game are just the meta, its so annoying

@@germanluque9756 rein and winston aren't exactly what I call skillful tanks. Wrecking ball and sigma are fine. Though in the case of Wrecking ball the only problem he has is sombra's existence

Maybe make the defence matrix only do it's thing against projectiles and throwable things, but not bullets? And change Bastions turret form bullets into fast projectiles.
That would take a really long to code, because hitscan projectiles in ow don't exist, every character has different speed projectiles, in the workshop the only difference between a cass shot and a junk nade is the size of the hitbox and the speed it travels, and you can set junk nades to full speed and they are literally just hitscan, the only thing they have to do with dva is nerf her matrix to 2.5 seconds, in ow1 you only had like 2 seconds of matrix and dva was fun to play against, now that dva and all tanks have the armor buff and the headshot reduction multiplier she will be perfectly fine for the dva player and not a must pick at all elos of ranked and quickplay
They dont need to rework defense matrix its never really been a problem until the buff.

Probably as she hasn't been meta for soooo long. All they need to do as well is reduce her total armour, so fucking funny how you can tell they just don't want to right now due to all the Dva players having fun

It's insane just how powerful D.Va's become since the last tank buffs. I'm actually good with her for once, though I do still agree she needs to be nerfed.

I think they should just lower the health pool of most of the tanks. Like DVA does not need 700 health, but she can remain versatile and lethal.
Make her 600 but just all armour 😂
Well the devs believe making the tanks indestructible is the only way they can make the role fun
@daniteweatherill183 their survivability should come from abilities, they should have more health than other roles but they definitely dont need triple, 400-500 is a sweetspot for most tanks
this game needs the chaos of 6v6 because this gameplay is boring

@@polar6066 it obviously wouldn't be current D.va and winston, they'd have to be (and stay with me now this might be hard for you to understand) _balanced._ their hp pools and dps would be reduced, and not to mention D.va's DM uptime would be reduced as well.
i figured out how to "fix" dps que times being longer. You just match them to the other teams dps, not the match sr in match making. This way you only need 4 dps players of equal rank. this works, set a cap like 500sr give or take for dps, and the games just insta que for tank and support(you keep the current match making, given the graphs they gave in the 6v6 discussion are accurate). In theory we dont have to wait for the slowest role nearly as much and ques would be instant. just one third of the game waits for a bit.(if back to 6v6) why should the rest of the players have slower que times? given the numbers, all ques but dps will be basically instant, and increasing the dps sr range shouldnt matter if both teams match in that role for match quality. how is the argument that it is better for a minority of the players in que, so every player should to suffer in match? if you like 5v5, they can just have both in game with the reported number of players easily, and this would still reduce the time to find a match
Isn't the problem with queue right now is because there's just not enough tank players?
@@echopark1993 the problem is waiting for two tank players of the correct sr, so kind of yes. but by increasing the game range that the dps can be put into it should make the ques faster for the higher and lower ranked dps, who are the ones with actually long ques
