dude last night i was playing sub while watching flats play it, i was by the tail end of the aroura and the reaper snuck up next to me three times without a single roar, scared the poo out of me every time, its so much worse when there quite lol

Flats' obsession with gathering resources is driving me insane. This entire video I was screaming to myself "THAT'S ENOUGH" but he never stopped, it was never enough for him.
Resources is fine. It's the scanning already completed blueprints for me. Literally just throwing out titanium(scrap) so he can scan something and get titanium 😅. Makes it fun to watch tho.
I have the same problem lmao. In Skyrim, in Animal Crossing, in Slime Rancher.. I CANT HELP MYSELF- Like, just in case if i need 50 of something, well, I have 190 of them cus of how many iver collected so im good and i dont have to search for more, you know? ^^;

@@nihili4196 Maybe I'm the strange one. I never arrived at that mindset. There's no reason to, the game gives you everything you need to navigate the hazards peacefully. Long before the end of the game you should be able to take a nice quiet stroll through the Dunes without worry.
I know it's been a while since you played this, but fun fact - you can feed smaller fish, like peepers, to stalkers. If you hold up a fish there's a chance they'll eat it and you can temporarily placate them, they'll stop attacking you. It's a good way to distract them so you can get close and offer metal for them to chomp so they drop teeth.
I don't think I've ever seen a streamer go this long without figuring out how to make disinfected water. You even managed to create the Cyclops before that. 😁
There's no shot Flats made the cyclops before even exploring the first story location 😂. I love Flats but why doesn't he realize that you can explore further than 200 meters if you use the seamoth as an air checkpoint... And don't get me started about his basebuilding 😆

I’ve only had Burger King twice and both times it gave me food poisoning. Also you eventually get used to the fear of the unknown after playing. Except the dunes that’s a scary place
im kinda mad at chat that they don't give him hints to where things are without really telling him. like with the diamonds... all you had to say is... "go deeper" and it's Shale outcrop it can drop from. ya know just gotta nudge him in the right direction but don't actually tell him where.
Hey Flats if you see this i HIGHLY recommend putting an interior growbed in your Cyclops and putting either lanter fruit, Bulbo trees, or marbelmellons for a food and water source on the go!
This game is the only game I actively search for people playing it for the 1st time so when I saw you playing it I was sooo happy! So good to see you do more content other than Overwatch! Hopefully, you'll play the 2nd game too!
Tbh, I think we all have a bit of Thalassophobia in us cus of how ancestors learned that, in deep waters, there are dangerous stuff. I suffer from Arachnophobia (frick spiders, even spiders that are the size of dust) and Acrophobia (fear of heights). Just getting up on a chair makes my legs shake and im scared of falling and breaking my legs lol.

Hey Flats, its been a while since I've played so I could be mistaken, but I think theres a small storage space on the seamoss at the back of the ship! Very handy to store tools that you use once in a while and don't want to take up your inventory

I mean when you find out the ocean can completely submerge mt everest and still have room and watch documentaries about what lives in the trenches it’s completely understandable to not want to be in the sea

What fun is there in him playing if the viewers aren't going to let him experience the game. Funniest part in my playthrough was when hull integrity dropped below zero and I got a nice surprise. @@evanleone8434 Have you ever played this game? I have and when it does it's not that bad. The power shuts down and you get holes in the hull that leak and fill the base with water. You literally just have to make one reinforcement then repair the holes and it's fine the water drains and everything carries on as normal. It doesn't destroy the rooms. Smh next time play the game and experience it before you say something.
Another update seems to have brought this back at some point. I'm once again able to repair my Seamoth in the moonpool. Actually I noticed this a long time ago, I'd just forgotten about this post.
Can someone please tell flats that the storage is on the outside of the seamoth? Also that the cameras on the scanning room that he put in storage are used to track down the resources and act as a beacon for him to get
@flats just got to the part where you put a bunch of corral in your cyclops xD If i were you i would fill up some storage containers with alot of purified water and medkits (you can find food anywhere)
Hi flats, wanted to give you some tips, keep missing these on the steams cos of time zones, If you want to make a bigger base there is the pink cave you went to in the last episode, you can scan a “multipurpose room” that will help your base massively
Bruh today my pc crashed and I lost 70 HOURS of gameplay after the file got corrupted, if anyone knows a fix I beg they let me know but I think I just wasted a week of playing
STOP COLLECTING CORRAL. Am I the only one frustrated by him doing this? You only need a few here and there when making micro chips 🙄 and if you kept starting location as main base they respawn under you at a plentiful rate...
@@Dos-equis-guy He does seem to have collected those corals at some point that's been edited out in this video - he does seem to be able to create Bleach, and it doesn't ding a new blueprint when he collects the coral at the Floating Island. It's the Coral Tube Sample. You can get it from the Coral Shell Plates, or easier by using your knife on those huge tubes in the Safe Shallows (unlimited resource, for all intents and purposes. I've read that it takes 2500 strikes from the starter knife to destroy one - and there are dozens of tubes). Use the Coral Tube Sample with salt to create Bleach, then use the Bleach to create Disinfected Water. A hint is to not create water out of all Bleach, but to store the Bleach instead of the water. Each bottle of Bleach makes 2 bottles of water, so in essence you can have two bottles of water in each slot of a storage unit - i.e. 60 bottles of water in a Wall Locker, or 96 bottles in a Locker; or a total of 180 bottles in the built-in storage of the Cyclops. 🙂

Imo subnautica is very immersive and part of playing many video games is the imagination aspect of it, and getting so into it that you actually do feel fear and love and other emotions

You used to be able to repair the seamoth while it was docked in the moonpool, but one of the last few updates took away that ability for some reason.
Another update seems to have brought this back at some point. I'm once again able to repair my Seamoth in the moonpool. Actually I noticed this a long time ago, I'd just forgotten about this post.
