I get how some adjusters don't want to pay certain items. I do auto and that industry has the same problem with claims. What I don't understand is I'm amazed how many adjusters don't know their own policies and understand the appraisal clause.
Great education! I don't do the "linked in" videos he does, but I did look at this youtube feed for Bellator, and I don't see the daily updates. I wish that he did as others in that they upload shorts to his youtubes as others do. I'll look for his denial of the day on Facebook next. EDITED: I cannot find him on facebook. Anyone with a link?
I have a crazy story and am willing to share. I had two claims. one in november 2022 for storm damage, and one in december 2022 for frozen pipe bursts. long story short, they refused to pay for any supplements on the roof from the storm damage because they said that even though my house was high with golf ball sized hail followed by torrential downpour for 2 days and high winds, that they could not correlate the water damage coming from the roof as storm damage. and then when i filed my second claim for water damage, they hired a civil engineer to come and look at my house and the engineer was not given any guidance as to why he needed to be there, fast forward 3 months later, I am still waiting for the insurance company to pay for the second claim, even though they have an approved estimate written by the insurance company and no payment issued for repairs.
Hi my insurance is expiring in 2 weeks, my roof got hit by hail and I’m on the process of filing a claim. My current home insurance is dropping me so I need to look for a new home insurance . Should I wait till till I get a new home insurance before i get the adjuster to come? I already got a roofer filed a claim with my current home insurance. I’m scared that it will show up that I already have a claim and it will make the qoute higher. What should I do?
You can file the claim at any time. If the loss happened during your policy period your IC has to cover the loss even if you're not with them any more.
It took me over 3 yrs. To resolve & public adjuster helped, but still lost money as their payment wasn’t covered. Not complaining, but insurance should cover adjuster fee since insurance company forced you to go after.
I keep getting claims with the line item wall/roof panel for metal roofing instead of rfgplnr or ribbed 26 guage up to 1inch. The prior is 601 a square which isn't profitable. The other is 939 a Sq. Any help anyone?
This is the biggest load of BS 🤣 PAs are great for complex claims where large events such as hurricanes and destructive winds structurally affect a home. For a simple wind/hail roof claim they're predatory with their customer prospects and increase the estimate exponentially, often, 2X what the policy covers. The policy also states that it covers "Fair market value" meaning O and P on roof isn't FMV. I have yet to have a roofer or PA give a legitimate, claim and policy-related reason why O and P for a simple roof/gutter job should be added.
I have also worked with a ton of Public Adjusters that have no idea what storm damage is.

Holy moley! That's crazy.
When you say you are willing to share... do you mean you'd like to be in a video talking about this event?

Try contacting Taylor.
If insurance company’s failure led to health issues can public adjusters help?
I don't know. I would think you'll need a lawyer.
@@homesteadroofing yes, & it’s really difficult to find one to take my case; evidently not many deal with this kind of issue. Thanks for responding.
Like the video not the audio. Thank you
Sorry about that
I don’t have a duplex. Does not apply. How many people do?
Duplexes were not the point of the video

I agree with you on some of your points, but will address them more fully in one of your other comments.
