Police Officer Blocks Pregnant Woman From Entering Hospital

- A Florida cop blocked a pregnant woman from entering a hospital. Kevin Enciso was taking his pregnant wife to the hospital when he saw two cop cars blocking the road near the entrance. After he honked, one patrol car moved and he drove around the other one. However, an officer got out of the car and demanded to see Enciso's license. After he refuses to show it, a tense back-and-forth starts. The couple was able to proceed after a fire rescue truck crew checked the wife's blood pressure.
Blocking someone from emergency medical attention is a civil rights violation and a crime. He should be held accountable some how or at least dismissed.
Jail time, no if's and's or but's.

I think the guy and his wife could have pull their gun out and shoot the cop. because that what I would have done and then go into the hospital after that

How pathetic. That officer was willing to risk the life of that mother and her unborn child for the sake of his EGO. There was clearly NO other reason for the stop. He just wanted to set the man straight for “disrespecting” him for blowing his horn at him. He should not be dealing with the public. Truly pathetic.

Can't believe he actually had to give a reason as to why he was at the hospital. But the officer offers no explanation as to why he was sitting at a stop sign conversing with another officer blocking the way of traffic.

I use to live near a hospital that served a large rural area. Whenever I saw people driving fast in the direction of the hospital I pulled over and got out of their way. I didn’t need a degree in rocket science to figure out where they were going.

@Neo Anderson the woman was told to go to the ER by her doctor because she had a history of miscarriage. She was in a car accident and was in danger of losing her baby. Yeah, it kind of was an emergency.

Please follow up with this case. Don't let them off the hook. He was blocking an emergency entry/exit and should be charged for it. He should also be required to work with a therapist regarding that ego so it doesn't continue to impede in his work. And stupid behavior like this should involve time out in a jail cell...at least one day for minor offenses.
He needs to lose his job. The video is worse. He makes medical judgements about the woman’s health and issue. He makes them wait for fire rescue and not even call an ambulance because he knows the hospital would come out with a wheelchair immediately so he does this on purpose to make them wait longer. He didn’t protect citizens doing this just his fragile ego that doesn’t need to hold any power he needs to be working a regular job where he has no interaction with people and their lives

But last I checked, people can’t swerve around police officers when they’re blocking the road just because it’s convenient for them. This is why we need an independant branch of the federal government to oversee police officers and hold them accountable when they do break the law and public trust. Suing the town or city that hired them only makes taxpayers pay for the mistakes of cops. We need to be able to hold the officers themselves accountable and a seperate department with the authority to do that is needed.
That will never happen when a lot of the people who look like you vote against it.

Absolutely unacceptable. Both of those cops should get in trouble for blocking the road in the first place, but the one who doubled down on his mistake afterwards needs to be fired and criminally charged. Nobody should have the power to block entry to the ER and essentially take control over ppl's lives. What if someone was bleeding out in the car and every second was crucial to their survival? His actions could've cost someone their life.
