Exploring London Bridge

- Spanning several epochs of London history, I wander around the London Bridge area taking in the disastrous and bloody history of the city's original crossing, the bits of it you can still find peppered around the capital and how unexpectedly the area plays host to the first proper tube railway.

I really enjoyed watching this. We usually sing "London Bridge is Falling Down" during my childhood. The bridge's history at its best that you presented intelligently ( humour and wits) (full support no skip ads)
Something many people don't realise is that the original London Bridge was a little downstream from the current location - you touch upon that obliquely with the mention of the foot passage through the tower of St Magnus, that lead straight onto the bridge, a good 30m away from the current one.

Good video, liked the medieval pictures created of London Bridge. Yes I really like the new London Bridge station as well, but had an odd encounter with a revenue enforcement person, I'm sure he was fake. I have a book with photos of remaining King William street station passages, although as mentioned no access from the street anymore.
