    Using the Koby/Garp B plot as a way of explaining the One Piece world to new viewers by way of watching Koby learn about the world without having to have an awkward exposition dump is pretty genius.

    I loved how Mihawk legit challenged Zoro and made him aware of what was important to him. Real recognizes real. Respect.

    Sanji's actor Taz Skylar actually took Months of cooking classes and lessons, as well as took months of Martial arts classes to bring out the character of Sanji even more, and i love when actors go the extra mile to do their character justice, :)

      @@Ssjutsu yessssir, that's why the show is so good, not only do the actors love One Piece & respect the source material, but also the writers, producers & director are huge fans of the anime, & that fact that they got Oda sensei involved with the entire process as well is just perfect, the level of love, care, passion & respect is what really made this series the success that it is man, & it gets me exited for other future anime adaptations since these guys just prooved that it can be done well & they definitely set the bar high. :)

    I never watched the anime or manga, and with 1000+ chapters/episodes probably wont... but figured I'd give one piece a shot thru the live action, which based on every other live action anime sounds like a terrible idea, but i have to say i genuinely enjoyed this series and look forward to the next season.

      I mean to be fair, the demons can only operate at night so it only makes sense that most of the story is in that setting. 😂

    Maybe you could do a collab/ discuss the live action with heat&hus after you watched all of it. Would be a fun convo, they really go in on one piece with the theories etc! They finished the la and are on episode 867 of the anime(whole cake island).

    Wtf you mean they should've sent him to the hospital?! Nobody knew he did that bs. Sounds like a reaction my dad has had to spicy food. Maybe deliberately triggering your nervous systems pain receptors isn't as harmless as we thought.

    I don’t know if anyone else thinks or feels this way but the way the actor for Mihawk is playing the character reminds me heavily of the way Lucifer is in, well, the show Lucifer. I ain’t mad at it, either.

    I will be honest tho, Zoro's declaration of never losing again was kinda wonky. They were trying to make him do exactly what the anime Zoro did which didn't really translate well in LA. But that's just a me tho, other than that, everything else in the episode was amazing.

  • @greywolf3457
    @greywolf3457 9 місяців тому

    I’m watching both the Anime along with the live action series and I have to say the adaptation is incredible the story pace is a little different of course but while the cartoonish quality of the anime allows for a stretch of the imagination the translation of the story to live action makes it feel a bit more plausible that these feet’s of strength are possible. Of course if it had Matrix level fighting scenes they would break the bank between the VFX the Makeup and set the design it really brings the world to life. Maybe they are building up to better fight choreography One Piece is a long running anime.
