- Priti speaks in a Westminster Hall debate on Foreign National Offenders. During her speech Priti reinforces her longstanding belief that the rights of victims should be put first, not the rights of foreign criminals. Priti also shares her experiences of this issue while as was Home Secretary. Recounting stories of left-wing celebrities, politicians, media outlets and more who campaigned against the deportation of dangerous foreign criminals.

what happened to the deal between UK and Nigeria? since that announcement no Nigerian criminals have been deported after their custodial sentence. i am a victim of a foreign criminal, he served 6 years for serious sexual offence, got released and is now living in our community for 5 years, why does it take so long to deport foreign criminals?

Rather than scaremongering about foreigners and pretending there's an intrinsic model where we can ONLY care about foreigners OR natives, why not deal with some of the real issues?
Why not deal with the massive, massive wealth inequality within the population? You know - the sort of thing that is a REAL threat to people, every day?

So increasing taxes on the wealthy will help the country? How far would you go, would you set a maximum wealth amount that anyone is allowed? Wealth inequalities partly reflect attributes like talent, and capacity for hard work, while poverty is correlated with factors such as households with one parent rather than two. It ain't as simple as confiscating wealth from the rich....
@@TheAndyAllwood I didn't mention taxes. There's no point in even discussing it with you, though, since to literally just suggested that billionaires are billionaires because they work hard.
