Lol - 1h47m video on the subject of injector removal, & he fast forwards the video at exactly the injector removal stage!
On position where you placed flow restriction for EGR, some engines actually have extra actuated flap valve. same thing as "vacuum actuated waste gate on turbos. You can actually adjust how much you open it and basically control EGR flow. So cool, but it was quickly removed in next engine iterations. Only some engines from ISUZu have it as I have seen. :(
Great informative video. Would like to try it on my 2008 Toyota Hiace/Regius.Very similar setup to the 2kd in the european hiace but probably impossible to get at those back bolts because the rear half of the engine is under the dashboard
Always hated working on vans and that’s why we don’t do it bloody stupid idea might as well lift the body off I reckon

Single hex crows foot 17mm on the injectors? Used the same and it's like the rear 3 ARE WELDED ON...

I have a problem i can't figure out, 1,2 3 injectors seat perfect with no tolerance, 4 has so much movement i feel the o ring isn't even touching. I've replaced copper seat and O-ring with genuine parts again! and its still loose, and im talking 4mm movement in all directions. Its a reconditioned long motor and its left me stuck as I dont want to go any further. Brand new denso Injectors also. My only thing I can think of is correct me if im wrong. My injectors i bought for kun26r hilux and concerned I was sold a prado or later model 1kdftv long motor?

They are called crows feet spanner’s/sockets,very handy in tight areas
