    I came here because I have post covid-19 syndrome. And this is very helpful to get rid of my anxiety and brain fog. I feel like it really works because last night my anxiety was high and once I began draining the fluids down, it melted away in minutes. And this morning I was feeling the same way and it worked again. So those with "long hauler symptoms" should try this.

    I’m a licensed massage therapist and did this on myself, we learned so many modalities in massage school but forgot about lymphatic drainage. I have cervical degeneration and it’s causing pain so much, but I just discovered that I have a lump in my neck and searched massage lymph nodes neck and your video popped up, and I’m very grateful that you posted it.

    Woke up yesterday with extreme neck pain. Went all of yesterday thinking it was muscle and ignored it. Finally last night did self massage on muscle and that made it only slightly better and I noticed the 'lump'. That lump was my cervical lymph being swollen. Just did this technique briefly and it's already 1/2 the size and not painful! Trip to urgent care averted! Bookmarked this video!!!

    I've had neck pain for a long time, due to various life events and daily wear and tear. Numerous massage therapists have not addressed my lymphatic drainage points. I feel so much better already, having just done this video practice once. I'm going to do it ALL THE TIME!!! Thank you!

    I’ve had tightness and swelling on the right side of my neck for weeks, just did this once and could already feel the fluid in my neck and like it was running down my throat. Straight after my neck looks smoother and the swelling is now squishy! Thank you ☺️

    • @rochelleclark5571

      There are ways to support the spleen and other areas. I recommend seeking a consultation with a naturopathic doctor in your area or a certified lymphatic therapist to work with you and teach you things you can do on your own at home.

    Am I going to need this for life after total thyroidectomy and total neck dissection of 94 lymph nodes and a few on my shoulders. I can feel the tingling getting heavier and the " numbness" where it was pulled up get stronger and seems to expand. I have done this for a half hour of feeling weird doing it but I really do feel better. Is this going to be a lifetime event?

    • @rochelleclark5571
      @rochelleclark5571  4 роки тому

      David, I highly recommend working with a physical therapist who specializes in post-surgical recovery and lymphedema care. If you had 94 LN removed, you will definitely need to be vigilant in your daily self care regimen for your lymphatic system. Your PT will be able to answer all your questions.

      Hi Candice - I'm sorry you had to go through that procedure. Yes, you would definitely benefit from lymphatic drainage. You can use this technique at home. The use of antiperspirants works against the upper lymph system . It prevents draining through the armpit. I stopped using it years ago. I use baking soda dissolved in water. You sweat but no scent. You will see a great reduction of odour in a few weeks .

    Is it possible to get head pressure due to lymph edema in the neck?

    • @rochelleclark5571
      @rochelleclark5571  3 роки тому

      Yes it is. If you have diagnosed lymphedema due to surgery or radiation on the neck, it can cause impeded flow of lymph through the neck. That can cause pressure build up in the face and head due to excessive fluid. I recommend seeing a physical therapist or certified lymphatic specialist to work with you. There are compression garments specifically designed for face and head lymphedema as well.

    What could it mean if after doing the massage, the ‘triangle’ areas are still very puffy?

    • @rochelleclark5571
      @rochelleclark5571  Рік тому

      It "could" mean that your lymphatic system is sluggish. Since I have not worked with you or know your medical history, I cannot say for sure. In my personal experience with clients, it is common for the neck area to become congested if the lymphatic system is sluggish.

    • @rochelleclark5571
      @rochelleclark5571  Рік тому

      Oftentimes it means your body is fighting some sort of virus, bacteria or something that is challenging your immune system. It is common to have swollen lymph nodes with a cold or flu. If it doesn't resolve soon or it is especially hard, I highly recommend consulting your medical doctor.

      It is highly unusual for something like this to occur. However, if you are experiencing this sort of a response, it would be best to perform this when seated or lying down. Not knowing your medical history, it sounds like you may have a sluggish lymphatic system.

      @@rochelleclark5571 Seattle Proper? i'm in Everett. Can drug use cause lymph node swelling or fluid buildup ? what happens if I don't finish the exercise at the base of the neck? also I feel almost like lumps of fluid . I thought it was just swollen nodes but they move with the tugging. is this all dehydration related? sorry for all the questions. By the way., miss, you are gorgeous . I hope you have a partner who treats you like royalty :)

    My nose was tickling so much!! I am stuffy and it wasn’t mucus running externally it was something flowing internally. It was great. But I think I pressed too hard- especially on my ears because I am stubborn. I regret that now lol
