There are still old school motorheads who cling to European or American brands regardless of excellent choices found in the global market. But the paradox is that most Euro brands are already produced in the Indo-Pacific region. Think Royal Enfield, Benelli, Moto Morini, certain Ducati and Triumph models, etc. Unfortunately, mechanical gremlins are still bugging these brands. I'm sticking with the Japanese Big Four manufacturers for practicality and reliability.
I'm a old school motorhead and been riding Harley's for 45 years. I also have owned Honda, a good bit of Yamaha and Kawasaki 's, KTM, BSA, Triumph right along side my Harleys and I am very interested in these bikes from China. My favourite bikes are Harley's but my favourite bike is a 2020 Yamaha V-MAX.
I am a fan of Italian and British classic bikes so not quite yet ready to buy Chinese mototorcycles but I do admire their rapid progress. Just like Japan post war, the Chinese have copied a lot from the West. To be fair, like India who rescued RE and BSA, the better Chinese manufacturers rescued many famous struggling names like Benelli, Moto Morini and Mondial. There are definitely a few good and reliable models around and they will get better over time. Anyone who wants to widen the appeal of motorcycling should be applauded and we focus on the product and not the nationality. I think you will see a an evolution in the market with US/EU/Japan targeting premium bikes at premium prices and the Chinese/Indians dominating the beginner and lower mid price market. This the natural segmentation and differentiation that needs to occur to sustain a mature market. Note that Harley, Triumph, BMW and Ducati have factories in Mexico, Brazil, India and Thailand for lower labor costs and higher profits. Their bikes prices have not gone down but keep going higher for customers. The value for money of current top Chinese motorcycles is outstanding without having to buying lots of extra bolt on packages like you do if you buy a BMW. Dealer networks for Chinese bikes will slowly expand as distributors see better margins. Where I do see the Chinese companies really dominating is the future electric Motorcycle market. They already have the largest EV market in the world and are a force in electronics.
Just bought Voge Rally 300 made by Loncin, who make engines for BMW and it’s believed that the engine is a licensed 292cc engine made for Kawasaki. I bought it as it was a better option ready for the road than the Honda CRF300 Rally which was €4000 more expensive.
I'm holding out for the CFMOTO 500SR Voom (only available for the Chinese market). Hopefully any R&D that's still needs refinement will be addressed during the Chinese market period and then maybe they come to Europe and the US.
" CF MOTO " Motorcycles had already getting successful in attraction more younger Rider due to it's cool, sharp, sleek sports bike looks and designs. These Bikes having " BREMBO " and " BOSCH " components is enough to show its good quality and great performance.
I would go for this, the Chinese have come far in the auto industry... talk about heavy duty trucks, light trucks, SUVs, saloon cars etc... and they are reliable too. I once owned an apsonic 150 which I used for 8yrs straight without issues at all
Give it another 5-10 years Chinese bikes will be a definite alternative to the Japanese big four, Indian and other European manufacturers. Japanese motorcycles really made their presence known in the 70's and have realistically dominated the motorcycle market ever since, before then British and European were predominantly the must have bikes for one to own, despite them having reliability issues. Today Japanese bikes are number one for motorcycles with the least amount of reliability issues. As the Chinese bikes in most cases are reverse engineered, just like cars......they will not be number one in engineered products, realistically 2-5 behind in technology and engineering, but the gap in quality is closing every year and in 5-10 years time product quality will be indistinguishable from any quality branded made today......offering better value for the masses which can only be good for everyone.....
They improve a lot…. Is like Hyundai in the early years…. Was cheap and no one wanted but now is as expensive as Honda and toyota:… soon these Chinese bikes will cost as much as Honda and Yamaha … and offering more
China has come a long way, over the past few years. Gone are the days of junk bikes. Now, they're just as good as any other. I own one (AJS Cadwell). It's now 8 years old and still runs perfectly. It's true that the Chinese bike still have a poor reputation (Due to the early junk bikes), but considering how many European Marques are made in China. You might be riding a Chinese bike and not know it.
I am not afraid to try something like this but the real problem here is that most of these bikes are only available in few or certain countries. I have only seen two chinese bikes available in my country.
"china made is junk" is for old people thinking. Perhaps to some china made it's true, but there are many quality china made and brand now a days and in fact better than the big four from japan which pinoys dont notice because of the mind set. Nong nagsimula ang big 4 dito sa pinas, tinangkilik ba sila kaagad ng mga pinoy? Di ba hindi? Di ba it takes years to establish a name.
You cant beat certain Honda, Yamaha ,Suzuki and kawasaki models for basic, well engineered, reliable bikes like honda and suzuki and yamaha v twins like SV650, 1000, 1050, yamaha parallel twins MT07, honda NTV650, transalp and yamahas XT500,suzuki DR650 and their 800 V Strom parallel twin. Yes all make great inline 4s and great big capacity rocket ships like busas but for basic middleweights built to last like kawasaki w650 and 800, yamaha XS650 and suzuki GS750, GS850G shaft drive and yamaha supertenere 1200 that is superior reliability to BMW GS and even triumph tiger in some ways . All didnt have an overload of electronics to go wrong and were simple enough to be serviced by the home mechanic saving thousands on expensive dealer services like on BMW , MV Agusta and Ducati machines. Biking was a means of transport especially good in rush hour traffic to get to and from work especially for working classes who hadnt big wages needed to buy and run a car. Thats why i applaud honda, suzuki who had small cars and vans of 800cc in the early 1970s popular in india as the maruti suzuki van of 800cc that was cheap and lasted well even on awful indian roads back in the 1980s especially.
i cannot afford anything like HD or triumph and i like the reliability and durability of japans motorbikes and thats why i ride a bandit 1200s these days
I'm looking at e bikes from china wholesale due to much lower cost compared from what I can find local. not sure on exact model just yet except it will have a 12000 to 15000 watt bldc motor with 120 amp/hr bat and resemble aprilia/ducati/yamaha race bikes. my budget is $5000
Instead of simply replacing the defect display on my delivered new chinese moto bike I have to go to the dealer for the fourth time to measure some nonsense instead of replacing the part. That’s the problem with chinese manufacturers, the support doesn’t exist if they by their own made a mistake. With an orderly end control they wouldn’t have delivered a motorbike with a defect part and in this instance nothing has changed with China🤷🏻♂
Every year better and better....and one time they are as good as the wellknown brands, but more affordable. See how the EV are doing...the Chinese beat the Europeans, only EM can compete!
They are _not_ up to Japanese build quality yet. Not yet. They may be there in a year or two- maybe five, but right now I would not buy one. Unless I knew that I was only to ride it a year or two max. Then maybe I would.
They Improve Because the Chinese Government Very Cleverly Set Conditions To The Foreign Countries Motors Company that if They Want to Sell Their Bikes in China Then They Have to Give or Share THEIR TECHNOLOGY to Chinese Motors Company.😡😡😡 You are saying Chinese bikes to Some Foreign Countries Bikes.
I bought a small Benelli (TNT135) two years ago and I can say it's a fun ride in the twisties. Suspension and brakes are great. Problems I've encountered are dealer network (too few), parts availability and fuel metering issues. The bike hiccups at steady throttle in slow-moving traffic. This emerged under warranty and a new oxygen sensor was ordered but it took four months to arrive and it did not completely remedy the problem. The bike still bucks and snorts under 25kph but it shines when running at full throttle.
I still wouldn't touch one. If they can't build a car safe enough to sell in the west why should I trust their bikes. Chineseum is an awful material that breaks really easily.
They do haval, gwm, mg, cherry, ldv, most have 4 star safety some have 5 star safety, 7 years warranty and more I don’t own one but have a few mates that do nothing wrong with em
Forgot anything!!! Chinese products are cheep , not reliable and most not more then a copy from an German, Italian or other motorcycle manufacturer… I never , never would buy such a fake…

That Benda is a good-looking bike

Think when they started to draw the benda they looked at the ducatie diavel, they made a futuristic version
I would go for this, the Chinese have come far in the auto industry... talk about heavy duty trucks, light trucks, SUVs, saloon cars etc... and they are reliable too. I once owned an apsonic 150 which I used for 8yrs straight without issues at all
No. 1. Benda 700,, 2. Suo 2000,, 3. Benelli Leonsino,, 4. TRK 702.

Chinese quality far ahead of Indian [rpducts and close to Japanese. Do you think the Bribe brakes and Bosh electronics of CFMOTO bikes is inferior?
CF MOTO already makes unique and great performing Motorcycles. I would totally ride one.
Zontes and Kove should be on this list.
CFmoto 450 MT is an excellent motorcicle. I will buy one someday.
Exacly i have Kove 510x and im verry happy with this motocycle
They improve a lot…. Is like Hyundai in the early years…. Was cheap and no one wanted but now is as expensive as Honda and toyota:… soon these Chinese bikes will cost as much as Honda and Yamaha … and offering more
ZONTES and CF MOTO
thanks for making and posting theses bikes

It'll be interesting to see them in WSBK or even MotoGP.
I like the 700 it looks really nice.

Thank God I will buy some for myself
i cannot afford anything like HD or triumph and i like the reliability and durability of japans motorbikes and thats why i ride a bandit 1200s these days
I would buy that 700, I would say they use some quality with that bike.
How are the over 600 cc bikes meeting epa ?
Lookingfor reliability, price; ease of maintenance and repair stops and parts availability.
A Cruiser with 11.000 rpm😂...make sence😅😊
Looks ok but the price just slightly cheaper than Japanese big four also they have to build up good dealership first
I'm looking at e bikes from china wholesale due to much lower cost compared from what I can find local. not sure on exact model just yet except it will have a 12000 to 15000 watt bldc motor with 120 amp/hr bat and resemble aprilia/ducati/yamaha race bikes. my budget is $5000
when do benda darkflag comes to europe? :(
I would like to know more about the dark flag
If the "Benda" comes to the UK I suggest they rename it, as "Bender" is UK slang for a male homosexual.
mantap..👍

I thought a couple of those looked very interesting. Who knew. Every one laugh at the Japanese at first.....
Lets switch to Rusi...Skygo..motorstar and racal thise time rather than choosing harleys, triumph or ducati's
Chinese motorcycles that are worth the money they cost. Bloody hilarious!
All models of MC c are impressive.i wish I cold ha😅ve it
Where is Zontes?
Every year better and better....and one time they are as good as the wellknown brands, but more affordable. See how the EV are doing...the Chinese beat the Europeans, only EM can compete!
No dealer within a 150km radius. For me no deal.
'Benda 'sounds weird in Malaysia as it means 'thing'😅
高质优价
Nice vid, apart from the AI voice.
So many great second hand bikes floating around. Why buy new?
they are cheaper :))
You forget about zontes
They are _not_ up to Japanese build quality yet. Not yet. They may be there in a year or two- maybe five, but right now I would not buy one. Unless I knew that I was only to ride it a year or two max. Then maybe I would.
Benda for me.
You gay? 😂 Just kidding!
And the crown goes to Benda .
Zontes is also a high-quality motorcycle brand from China
yes
They Improve Because the Chinese Government Very Cleverly Set Conditions To The Foreign Countries Motors Company that if They Want to Sell Their Bikes in China Then They Have to Give or Share THEIR TECHNOLOGY to Chinese Motors Company.😡😡😡
You are saying Chinese bikes to Some Foreign Countries Bikes.
Performance and maintenance highly doubtful
My CFMOTO 650nk has not missed a beat in 6 years , do you own one ? , or are you just another arm chair critic ?
I think thats no longer true.
I bought a small Benelli (TNT135) two years ago and I can say it's a fun ride in the twisties. Suspension and brakes are great. Has no dealer s to deal with stuff that sill go wrong .
Chinese has good bikes😊
Ok
CFMoto=KTM motor.
Made in China copy of KTM motor. There is a BIG. Difference
@@marksmart9754cf n ktm are joint partner. You better shut if you dont know anything, smart@55
@@pansky7656 the motors are NOT made by KTM and shipped to China. They are made by CFMOTO under licence. So. Chinese copy.
@@marksmart9754first of all, you have to know what the different between under lisence and copy.
Ktm is very unreliable in my country compared to japs bike.
Cheap knock offs luck to last till end of warranty
Life is to short to drive Chinese motorcycles.
ride indian ricksaws then fool
.
If that is the only choice you can think of, I suggest you stay on the rickshaw until further notice.
NEVER!!
Maybe there is a good one, but modern designs look ugly & unattractive to me..
7:10 low speed what??
Enough with the AI voiceovers. Speak into a microphone. It's not that hard. Seriously.
Plus, either you stole your script directly from, Cycle World, or, it is a press release. Either way, thumbs down.
Why ruin your video with AI voice? It gets less likes!
Fine if chinese want to make bikes, just dont rip off established names.

I can't listen to this AI voice.
Chinese will never supply spare parts for any product. You’ll have to scrap it and buy a new one !!!!!!!!

Chinese products are cheep , not reliable and most not more then a copy from an German, Italian or other motorcycle manufacturer…
