My cat is less than 2 years old and the vets are suspecting of cancer in the stomach and intestine. We are very desperate. The costs are already so high. We really want her to survive 😢
Just put down one of my felines an hour ago due to cancer. Seemingly outta nowhere her weight just feel off a cliff, she was a good gal :'(

That's so sad. Sadly, my mother doesn't want to have our cat put down even tho it has pancreas cancer, and I feel like it's even worse that it has to suffer.

Sorry for everyone's lost, I had a theory that this might of come from toilet water, my cat doesn't like to drink with the other cats I resonly found out she was drinking water from the toilet, I'll say this watch out for we're they get their water source. I've had plenty of cats and she's the only one who ever did that. Keep everything sealed, change their water twice daily should help.
I thought you were introducing the cat at the start of the video and when you said 'She's gonna read some questions' I thought 'Oh my god, she has a talking cat' 😂
My sisters cat who I was taking care of at the time, had stomach cancer. Nobody knew, it was when he fell onto the ground and started meowing in pain the second time before I convinced my mom to get my sister to bring him to he vet. He had to be put down.

The doctors fees are out of this world for what they charge. It's like they have us by the short hairs and know we are going to give in to our vulnerability of emotions to fork over the big $$$$$. It's one big racket. !!!! No wonder there are so many stray pets out there when they find out what it costs to maintain a pet. This industry needs an overhaul.
That is no excuse to abandon an animal companion. Those people need to go to prison and pay for the treatment the abandoned cats need and will need and needed.

My kitty was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of lymphoma cancer on 1-21-21 and died 2-16-21. Since it was so aggressive no treatment was done. He had a large tumor on his colon. He really showed no signs until the cancer was really progressed.
Me too. I had to put him down 2 days ago.
Yup. My cat died 5 weeks after being diagnosed.

Same. I had her put down that day. She was skin and bones before we noticed. Then the day after we noticed, she stopped eating. It was the saddest day of my life losing her 😞. Going to pick up her ashes today.
Im sorry this is a late reply....but, this happened to me..and so true. its hard when it happens...just a flash of being normal and okay to wondering when the right time is to take the cat in...heartbeaking
There is something that helps fight off lymphoma cancer and can't even help prevent it : MANJISTHA POWDER ... ( or it might be called Manjistha Root powder ) ... it has been used for thousands of years in and around India for all kinds of things especially purifying the LYMPHATIC SYSTEM .
The lymphatic system is the sewer system for the brain and body so when it gets backed up it is like your whole toilet overflowing back into your bathroom .
When the lymph nodes become polluted and overloaded they get bigger and turn into cancer .
The powder is a reddish color (and has a weird smell ... sort of like a combination of mild hickory smoke and crawfish powder which you can get at some Chinese Grocers and I've seen it at an African Grocers . )
The problem I had is I could not get the cat to drink it even though I put it in her two water bowls and wouldn't allow her anything else to drink she absolutely refused to drink it and I didn't want to force it through a dropper down her throat because it could sometimes go down the wrong throat into the lung
The problem is that the average vet just isn’t all that good about diagnosing cancer unless it’s reached the point that it can’t be treated. We just lost our kitty two months after I identified he wasn’t feeling good and brought him to our vet. Based on the symptoms I saw I asked about cancer but after examining him and running tests the vet said it was just decreased liver function that could be easily treated with medication. Over the next month his activity decreased and he lost more weight. Not being able to get him into our vet right away I want to a different one that told me he was terminal and should be put to sleep immediately but wanted to run more tests that were inconclusive. Eventually we ended up at the ER vet where they too just wanted more tests until nearly two months after I identified this issue it was finally announced that it was cancer and that his intestines were breached. We lost him two days later before we could even arrange for euthanasia. This was very frustrating as if it had been ID’d immediately we could have at least made his final days better and at best may have been able to extend his life. Not that human doctors are better, I lost my mother to this same sort of incompetence in diagnosing cancer until it’s way past the time anything can be done.
My vet said my cat had leukemia, and it was rare, she'd never seen it in cats in 35 years of practice. She felt a huge tumor in his abdomen and x-ray confirmed it was all over the chet as well. He had to be put to sleep 2 weeks ago.
She did not say anything regarding the symptoms to various types of cancers when asked. She only named the various types of cancers and where they usually occur.
That’s a very beautiful kitty. He’s swishing that tail around at the beginning, almost thought he was going to smack you! But the cookies keep him happy! Very good video. I’m always wondering if my cat is hurting or hiding an illness since he’s 11 yrs now and I see he has slowed down a bit. But he loves our walks outside almost every day.I’ll subscribe so I won’t miss new videos you post. Thanks for this one. (Of course he wasn’t going to get you with his tail,)
My cat was diagnosed by 3 vets lady week with tumour on her intestine. She was given a steroid injection and she perked up and has been eating more. I think it's a matter of time before she goes downhill again tho. She's 10.. a rescue cat and we've only had her 6 mths. We're heartbroken that we won't have much more time with her now.

Praying for you all!!! CareCredit has helped me greatly. My cat is receiving chemotherapy and she tolerates it very well. She has 2 more treatments to go! She had a mastectomy done bc there was a large mammary tumor that burst back in May 2023. Hayley is turning 8yr in Oct. She was spayed at 2yr 5mo old. Dr said it's very rare to still get mammary tumor after being spayed.
My cats initial prognosis was pancreatic carcinomatosis on 7/27 but doctors think it’s not worth it to do biopsy to confirm a diagnosis and possible chemo, and just recommended to put him down. My cat still eats, drink, poo, pee, play with his wobbly food dispenser, clean himself, meow, still wants to be walked, walks normal, except for one thing, he has fluid in his belly (removed 560ml) and that makes him uncomfortable when laying down. I was given an option to go through biopsy and see if results would qualify him to a chemo, or be sent home with pain meds, and wait until it’s time. I took him home with some pain meds but I feel so conflicted about my decision every time I watch him so his things normal.
I'm going through a similar experience. My cat has a mass growing on its face, but the doctor advised not to do a biopsy because of its location. Its been more than 1 week and I've been trying turkey tail mushroom and other natural remedies. You could look into alternative treatment, it has worked for some cat and dog owners. I hope your cat gets better.

My sweet boy Sam had it in his intestines was a very large tumor. Surgery showed it around his intestines and into lymph nodes . The vet was very honest and told us it was best that he be put down while still under . He is so missed my funny lap cat 7 years wasn’t long enough
My friend’s cat had stomach cancer! I feel so bad! There cat never deserved that 😢
My cat is 17. Will be 18 on April fools. I found out she has Master Cell Tumor (which I never heard of). My vet and I decided the surgery wouldn't be a good idea (to do with her age). She put her on Benadryl.
there is something called alfapump which is currently going through stages of reviews to be used on the general public where it drains the stomach of fluid and into the bladder,i hope they can make something similiar for cats so we can live many more years with them rather than this horrible experience of fluid building up and there being no cure and no hope

My cat's shoulder grew to the size of a baseball in the past month, my vet was stumped and said it could be osteosaroma after an exam & x-ray.
My cat got diagnosed Thursday with mammary cancer. It’s all throughout her mammary chain from what the vet could feel. No biopsy, no blood work, just a psychical exam determined it. I chose palliative care because it’s supposedly aggressive. I’m going through the guilt phase of not getting her any surgeries to even try to save her. But I don’t want to know how much it’s spread. :( don’t know what to do anymore.
My dog had the same and had the tumor removed first, then it came back. We removed the mammary chain and months later it came back aggressive as ever and we had to put her down. Please don’t feel bad. The incidence of it coming back was like 40 to 50%.
My 14 year old was diagnosed with lung cancer I have a Specialist appointment for him but a week away my baby is struggling to breathe and eating very little and moves around a lot at night even with the pain meds I can’t put him down but don’t want him miserable he gets up to eat a little and goes back to sleep
You may want to see what other pain meds can be given. What did they say about chemo? This might be tricky but giving the max safe amount might work. Can cats be given morphine type drugs. Check with a trusted vet and I know they are not easy to find. My condolences as I have been through it too.
@@bonchidude unfortunately he passed last July I did have a cancer specialist look at his x ray’s she said it is not cancer so he was misdiagnosed at the first veterinarian
I just lost my 13 year old Russian Blue female house cat Mittens too that terrible cancer of the tougue and just had her too the vet last may for a grooming . I didn't catch a weight loss , until her eating habits changed . We had her put down December 7th 2023 . she was our baby . I read online that seniors cats need checked twice a year, I asked my vet about this after Mittens passed and he said once a year is enough . DO I NEED TOO CHANGE VETS .
My cat is 10 months old and about a month ago he kind of stopped eating. He comes near food sniffs it and goes away. I took him to wet and they gave him antibiotics and it didn't help so I thought maybe it were parasites and gave him pill for that and after that he got better for a about a week. After that he again stopped eating and was moving even less and after x-ray we found he has a tumor in his stomach. I still don't know if spread or not I hope for the best but I don't know his stomach got bigger.
My kitty has sarcoma. He will be starting electro chemo therapy soon. However, he has a mouth either mass or it could be his tooth that bleeds. I am going to a board certified vet dentist. Just from exam he said he thinks but is not sure it might be a mass. Surgery though isn’t scheduled until 10/10, it is now 9/23. It’s not pouring blood but occasionally bleeds when he lays on that affected side. My question, I don’t want him becoming anemic, can I give him b12. Some say b12 feeds cancer?? I have given b12 to my one kitty long ago that had lymphoma. Is this true? Can you give b12 or not?
You can check with a holistic vet and an oncologist about this. How is electro chemo doing? My condolences.

My cat just died from lung cancer. She also had several strokes due to spread to the brain. She weighed 3 pounds at her death.

My condolences. At the time I did not know that my cat needed emergency treatment but she did and passed away. The vets were no help either. She had cancer but I did not know how much time she had left. Again, my condolences.
Do y'all ever find cancers in the heart of cats? I've heard heart tumors can occur in Dogs and Cats and their not as rare as they are in humans.

my cats eye began to swell, after going to a specialist he told me to get a ct scan, he thinks it may be a tumor behind the eye. Anyone out there run into this?
we found a lump on the side of our cat's neck and after inspecting her eyes, we noticed her left didn't look normal. Check if your cat has a lump on the neck. We took her for a 2nd opinion and they took a biopsy. She has a basilar epithelial tumor, which 90% of the time it is benign. We are going to give her medication for it and hope this will bring it down so she can eat again. We were told to get a CT scan too from the 1st vet and it wasn't necessary. Get a 2nd opinion. A CT scan only tells you the location of the problem, not what the problem is.

My cat is 16. He developed a large bump on his side. The bloodwork did not show any elevated levels of anything. Kidneys and liver are good. He looks old lately. He’s not in pain and he’s still himself just old acting. Eats and drinks normal. Everybody is telling me he’s to old to do surgery. What should i do?
Go to a specialist for ultrasound and blood Work! Good luck!
The vet can run tests to determine if your cat is healthy enough for surgery and sedation. My cat is 18 every time she has to be sedated I ask them to run tests to make sure she is healthy enough to do so. It doesn't remove all risk but it will help you better make a decision.
