I explored that island in the mid 70s with a friend..about 5 years after it closed..it looked different then ..in one of the buildings there was a time clock for the workers with the time cards still in the slots with names on the cards …there was a reasonably clean toilet with dry toilet paper which I used …I was about 13 then and it was my first abandoned exploration…pretty dam cool
My family had a house in Mystic Islands I went to that island by boat in mid 1970s with a friend it was still standing then ..I saw a punch clock for employees and the rack with their time cards was still there and the names …7 bridges was cool except for the standoffs on the bridge and the green head flies

One summer I was sleeping on a screened porch and when the wind was out of the west you would wake to all the wonderful smells the Sink House had to offer. I haven't been over there for many years but Joe Cook was going to get the salvage rights for all the steel. He wanted me to drop the water tower. What a crock! I should have said that's Cook with an "r".

Grew up fishing the last bridge on 7 bridges rd. Fish factory was in direct view. It sure has fallen down alot.
