The six women who rockered the worlds of religion, politics and so much more. Their actions were are what made the reign of Henry the VIII something to remember. As the man himself really didnt do much. His first wife literally went into battle while pregnant with his child.

You're right, Henry admired and respected Katherine of Aragon so much that for years after their marriage, he let her make every single political decision for the kingdom.
He'd always ask her opinion and follow whatever she said.
She was his chief political advisor for years. Consorts normally never had this much political power
She was probably the only woman Henry feared. He was terrified of her after the divorce, bc he knew how much she was capable of.
She was extremely accomplished in an era where women, even princesses like herself, were barely given education and political experience

She was only 19 when she was executed as a result. Her entire life was shorter than Henry's marriage to Catherine of Aragon, and she was younger than their daughter Mary by five years

I love how you rendered all the costumes. I admit that Catherine of Aragon and Catherine Parr's dresses quite surprised me but they are very nice looking!

Unfortunately, K. Howard was dreadfully young. It’s upsetting that Henry was allowed to do this just because he was king. 😞

I love how all the other queens look angry or annoyed while Jane looks sad. And it fits them all so well, I love this so much

I absolutely love Six! And yeah I could totally see all of them coming back to make Henry pay. But hey, they got the last laugh anyway, especially Anne Boleyn, because all Henry's BS died with him, and the male heir he had wanted so bad died, then Elizabeth became one of the best rulers ever. And yes, even though Mary was I'll admit it, insane as a ruler, she got to be Queen too, so that is the biggest FU they could give their dad.
Mary was not insane as a ruler. We're only led to believe she was because she was the last Catholic ruler and the Protestants that came after her blackened her name on purpose.
Mary was actually a wonderful monarch, the most charitable and down to earth of all the Tudor monarchs. She would go to the houses of the poor dressed as a commoner to hear their problems so that she could fix it and help them, among many other things.
As the first queen regnant of England, she paved the way for every female monarch and passed acts to ensure that they didn't have to fight for their crown with their lives on the line like she did, just because she was a woman.
She also passed another act that prevented female monarchs' husbands from manipulating them and having power over them.
Mary killed 284 people over the course of 5 years which is bad, yes, but elizabeth killed 450 people in a single day in 1569 and Henry killed over 10,000 during the pilgrimage of grace
Mary was actually a pioneer and a success

I love out of all of them, Parr looks the most confident as she was the one that escaped Henry's wrath.
Well, imo I think 3 of the 6 wives escaped his wrath. Seymour, since she was his truly beloved, Cleves, since her and Henry were close like siblings after the divorce, and then parr

Something I noticed: both Ann Boleyn and Katherine Howard have a black choker around their neck which represents how they died. Such a good attention to detail

Omg, I can’t stop watching this it’s so amazing and each character has a different personality. Lots of people will make the six wives look like the same person but seriously yours. I can’t go into the detail, it’s just too good.

Its from real history
These are the real wives of Henry the eigth the producers modernized the story as a pop concert but you hear each story of the wives. An example of this type of musical is Hamilton by Lin Manuel. Another fact each one of the wives persona or apperance is based off real life pop idols.
Uh henry the 8th and his wives arent a fiction book bud it actually happened. U cant rewrite history, and plus this musical may be only showing the less worse parts of the history behind it

I love how you executed (haha, Six joke) all of the queens. I am going to say some Fun Facts that nobody cares about. Catherine of Aragon was the daughter of Isabella and Fernando of Spain, the queen and king that funded Columbus to go to the Americas. Anne B. And Katherine H. were cousins. Catherine P. was dating Jane S.’s brother before Henry chose her. She got married to Jane’s brother after Henry died, but that didn’t last long. Jane S’s son died at 16, then this girl named Lady Jane Gray became queen for 9 days and then got beheaded. Then it went to Catherine A.’s daughter Mary, she got the nickname Bloody Mary and she died from an illness. After that, Queen Elizabeth I was queen for a while, she was Anne B.’s daughter.

I believe jane would be equally angry in real life. She was pushed by her family in Henry's direction and had no choice but to marry Henry. Even though she died before Henry fell out of love with her, he didn't always treat her well, threatening her when she tried to give her opinions on political matters. And jane loved Mary very much so I think she'd hate Henry for what he did to the princess

Fun fact: Their ending also have represents their clothes! I will give you some examples:
A very obvious one being is beheaded wearing a black collar cause of, you know what, just search beheaded yourself.
The dead and alive make sense, if the opposite of black is white, and black = survive while white = dead, it is also obvious.
The next one is divorced, I don't have any spefic thing about it, the only thing I know is red represents madness, but I know nothing about gold, just one, you see those strings on her necklace?Well, I I look at them and think of puppets, and are puppets controled?Yes, and you end up probably just throwing aside when time passes.
The first 3 have this kind of sad vibe while the last 3 have an angry, confident vibe

Anne of Cleaves actually, in history, has been told to be more of a sister or cousin to Henry and actually was kept alive for a while, she died after Queen Mary I died and supposedly she was essentially the fun aunt of the palace. So her part always makes me laugh. It's like having your brother or sister making fun of you. Funfact - It's been said she and Henry used to call each other cousin out of fondness. They were married but it was annulled after 6 months because they weren't romantically interested in one another.
