Interesting facts for gamers, the rainbow six siege operator, Thatcher, was written to be one of the SAS operators who took part in Operation Nimrod. Another fact is that one of the SAS operators, John McAleese, was the inspiration for the original Captain John Price in the Modern Warfare trilogy.
One thing to note about that last guy discovered among the hostages in the back garden: when discovered the SAS attempted to bring him back inside the building to ensure all terrorists were KIA, but when it was pointed out that there were live cameras broadcasting the event they brought him to a police van instead.
Fun fact: one of the SAS agents John McAleese who was part of the rescue operation, was the main inspiration for Captain Price in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare game series
You should cover the 1980 Norco Shootout, which was a bank robbery that involved 5 robbers, a car chase on the freeway, bombs being thrown at police, a helicopter was shot down (it made a safe landing), and a foot chase in the San Bernardino Forest. Three of the five robbers survived, multiple cops cars were damaged, and a riverside deputy was killed, his name was James Bernard Evans

Hopefully the SAS learned something. Check your equipment. Honestly the beginning of this raid was completely screwed up because someone didn't check their equipment. However, impressive that they overcame the issue and took back the embassy. Kind of. That screw up got people killed and wounded and the embassy destroyed more than what it would have if someone checked their equipment.
Turns out these carpenters are very important for these situations, especially for SWAT teams in law enforcement, training for such compounds and facilities that demand precision. The SAS also trained with buses to simulate hostage rescues via breaking windows.

You should do a vid on the Operation 'Chavin de Huantar' to rescue hostages in the japanese embassy in Lima peru in 1997.
Imagine how much those terrorists were destroying their pants when they saw sas soldiers in the dark
Raising a building based on a model layout of the embassy to train spec ops soldiers in less than 5 days is something that would make the Amish blush
