Mike could have done a lot of things. He could've tried working for a foundation that helped people, he could still work in banking just a different kind. We're shown again and again how intelligent Mike is. Or he could've started his own company
Actually no, I know it's a TV show and not real life but in real life that's how things work. He has no qualifications, didn't graduate college, no working experience that he could put down to be legit. No one is gonna hire him based on "trust me bro I'm smart". No one would even give him the time to prove his intelligence. Even Harvey didn't at first until Mike kept pushing. Mike got lucky because Harvey was curious. A lot of other people wouldn't be and would've just chased him out of the room.
@@azimtv7419 Never thought I might say that one day, but Tesla would hire him. He has the brains and talent to be something special. They value that above graduation and work experience.
@@azimtv7419 He could still work in banking. Be a bank teller, work his way up. He just got lucky because Harvey is dishonest. His resume could be great if he just got a regular job instead of thinking he should start at the top.
@PeteNice29 , not really. You have to remember that Jessica is one of his mentors, so it would make sense that he would talk to her differently than Louis or anyone else.
I kind of wonder how Mike would have done under Forstman. He would have taught Mike the ruthlessness and calculating nature beyond a normal lawyer. To be uncaring of people. That combined with his mind, would Mike have eventually ousted Charles? Take everything he had for himself, and see Charles grovel? For revenge?
You don't get it do you. He didn't care about Mike. All he wanted from Mike was to get information on Harvey. He knew having someone that was that close to Harvey work for him would be beneficial to him. Forstman wanted Harvey buried.
0:49 if I was mike I'd take the offer like 1 million sounds really nice like and 5:56 why didn't he stay and talk to the guy honestly he doesn't think does he but 8:10 it was nice of Louis to get him his job back 👍
No, it's an episodic comedy; Mike getting fired every episode is a running gag. The guy who plays the evil next door neighbour doesn't always want to hire him though.
Mike has the ability to ace super hard exams. He could've sat for a number of civil service jobs. These jobs not only pay well but many have great benefits, collective bargaining, and vast promotional opportunities.
I never understoof why they couldn't have just hired MIke as a consultant, rather than a lawyer. He wouldn''t need to practice law, and do all of the lawyery things directly, but surely he could provide advice to the firm on various cases as long as he's not doing the legal stuff himself?
Or a paralegal.. that's always what I thought from the start. And later in the show he anyways has to sit in front of the bar . Harvey could have helped him prep for some mid tier law school till that time.
Can you understand that it's a TV show and not real? It's weird how many people question what happens on this show when it's all based on fictional characters and stories. I think too many people can't separate reality from not reality. But, that's probably why we elected a convicted felon for president instead of someone who stands for law and order.😊
If Mike Ross was that smart he could work part time at the firm and finished his schooling. All any of them wanted out of Mike was that he was a Havad graduate, which he could have gotten with little effort. So the writers took years to get Mike accepted to the bar and in the interim used that picadillos as an emotional hook to keep us engaged.
Well, he never finished his undergrad, so to finish that and additionally get a JD part-time would have taken the entire length of the show. But NYS actually allows legal apprenticeship in-place of a JD, which is arguably what he did under Harvey. Mike's actual crime isn't not having an education, it's lying about having been accepted into the Bar and lying about having graduated Harvard to be part of Pearson Hardman, which amounts to defrauding his clients, which is what he was charged with.

Louis: I hired Mike Ross back at the firm
Harvey must have been so proud of Louis in that moment 🤝🏼😂
the most proud Harvey has ever been in his life
it would've been even better if he knew Mike was a fraud earlier. if he rehired Mike knowing he was a Fraud then it would've been so cool.
Mike could have done a lot of things. He could've tried working for a foundation that helped people, he could still work in banking just a different kind. We're shown again and again how intelligent Mike is. Or he could've started his own company
Actually that's what he did in one of the next season when he worked as a lawyer only to help people
@@thibautvincent3401that didn’t go so well though. 🫠

The most epic part is Harvey's confidence when he faces anyone....but when it's Jessica he turns into a little boy talking to his teacher 😅
not really. When louis hired mike back, harvey was in control of the conversation with jessica
He had better.
As they say, "Never outshine the master"
Me too era fictionalizing

Harvey: how important is the meeting?
Donna: Urgent
Harvey: Reschedule
Harvey really DOES value loyalty more than anything! 💯
His mind was focused on bringing Mike back somehow from that moment
more importantly than loyalty, honesty etc is integrity.
I've only seen season 1, but I know Harvey has integrity.
There was no need for this line.
There is a difference between Donna saying "it's urgent" and Donna saying "he said it's urgent". This was the latter.
"That's weird, I already did..."
Donna has superpowers.
That’s just Donna
“You could atleast pretend to hide how happy you are “ 😅😅
The biggest joy Louis ever gave Harvey.
6:50 “there ain’t no place for a hero” makes me wanna play borderlands sooo bad now

I think if he tried to ruin Forstmann, he could not, because by that time Forstmann would have found some dirt on him.

@RobonRoll-co5tr I would agree expect that at this point the only dirt on Mike was already used against him. What else is there?
this sounds like what Barney did in How I Met Your Mother lol
I bet Forstman would eventually find out Mike was illegally practicing law and would threaten to go to the authorities as leverage
Stans a true homie.
The best acting is the receptionist pretending to not eavesdrop on the convo between mike and louis

why do i feel like harvey already knows who the 5 phone calls are to and why they will accpet harvey offer
Louis: I hired Mike Back at the firm.
Jessica: What D:
Harvey: :D

I wish they would have brought back Stan to talk to mike again after Mike got out of jail and was wondering what to do next
Louis: "I hired Mike Ross back at the firm"
Jessica: "What?!"
Harvey: :D
How awkward was Mike walking up to the guy in the bench
I love this show so much. But I've only started watching it, so I'm getting so many spoilers! 😂😂
Someone please tell me that every Episode is different or interlinked??

Because people know that he's a lawyer and suddenly now he's a consultant. Something is fishy.
@@anshulsharma055 Think he means in the first place, when Mike first met Harvey.
@@Michael_CDK Because then there wouldn't be a show.

I agree. With all the money he made while he was there, Mike should've had enough left over to send himself to school.
Firms like that don't hire people that didn't go to the right colleges
why is mikes arms soo hot man.

Men aren't idiots, when we open up we know people will throw it back in our face when it's convenient for them. Especially childish women.
Literally what happens to women. Men use it against us all the time. We still open up because it’s the only way to forge real connections.
I always found it hilarious when mikes like what do you want Forstman?😂
Idk if it's just me, but Harvey has been in Jessica's guts before
