Pretty sure it’s a reference to “x is playing checkers, while y is playing chess”. Basically Jessica outsmarted Harvey
Chess reference. He realizes Jessica was playing chess while he was playing checkers.
“Rook to bishop 4” is old notation before they modernized the chess board with the letters A-H and the numbers 1-8. So instead of “rook to bishop 4” it would be either “Rook to C4” or “Rook to F4”.
The C and F “files” or “rows” were called Bishop since the Bishops are located in those files at the beginning of every classical chess game.
