It wasn't really one of a kind in terms of charm and banter... it was basically Gilmore Girls, but with lawyers. That's not me bashing it, by the way. Suits is one of my all-time favorite shows, I watched it from the very beginning when it aired on USA. I'm just saying, it didn't invent a new way to dialogue.
This show is a lot of fun if you accept it for what it is. Which isn't really a "legal drama" as much as a "legal cartoon". The characters are, for the most part, simplified chiches (the notable exception being Louis Litt), the plot makes little to no sense, and the realism is nonexistent. But it's fun to watch and the characters chemistry is pretty amazing at times.
Everything - literally everything - from 3:13 to 6:49 was the tightest, wittiest and potentially funniest extended series of dialogue in the entirety of Suits. After the heavy plot events from the end of season 5 through the whole of season 6, this introduction to season 7 REALLY brought home how much Suits was back to the case-crushing camaraderie that defined the show at the beginning. That the best element of the show was back.
What a loser... Mike's completely right. He could get more done in 10% of his time where he is, than in a hundred hours at the clinic. And all the time Oliver was standing there like a chump, he could've been helping a client too, but he chose to waste it trying to guilt-trip someone.
I stopped watching well before season 7, but the fact that dude got angry because someone took a job that was probably at minimum 2x more salary is ridiculous.
Some people have value systems that rank things like helping others and serving a community higher than making yourself rich. Ridiculous, I know, but they insist there's more to life than making money.

Oliver, when you work at a soup kitchen, you need to make sure that YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT FOR YOURSELF BEFORE GIVING THE HUNGRY SOMETHING TO EAT! Now, tell me. Say what you will about the show as a whole, but the dialogue was something else. Such charm and banter. It really was one of a kind.
I especially liked the dialogue where the old dude implied that a towel boy would be the best gift a guy could gift him.

best charm and banter is in "entourage". Nothing comes close
So you've never seen an Aaron Sorkin show.... Got it.
The "Svetlana" from Mike's cracks me all time HAHAH
5:34 the look of pride that harvey has 😁

Season 7 Suits was prime suits
classic USA Network chemistry. i miss it!
so, season 5 and season 6 was bad ?
Bring back suits and just have Harvey and Mike doing cases together. The first few seasons were the absolute best
5:17 is one of my favourite Harvey and Mike moments of all time

They slipped in an offer from Bobby Axelrod from Billions 7:35 … Brilliant 🤩 Never noticed that before 😂
Yeah Billions is a great show 💯
Was wondering if I got that right 🤣
What would happen if Daniel Hardman met Wags? Would the world cease to exist?
When they said Axelrod I was like yeahhh
me too 😂😂

I think my periodic rewatch binge of Suits is here.
I miss Suits Harvey and Mike's chemistry is unmatched :)
Definitely some of the best banter between the boys…
These two are such a fun duo lol
I love the idea that Bobby Axelrod is canon in the Suits universe.

Oliver 🤦🏾🤦🏾
Mike's feet were held to the fire on the last part...you can lie to a lot of people, not to those who really know you and call you on your BS.
