We many times in Eastern Washington see the first flakes of snow on October 31. Just a few, but definitely there.
Come out to Spokane. Incredible clear evenings and perfect view of Cornae Boralis (scheduled for recurrent novae explosion), which is viewable in the same area as the comet. It's late BTW.

Im so tired of these 70-80 degree dry days in Portland. Local forecasters are predicting 83-85 today, REALLY? Any chance we get into seasonable weather for a long stretch before November?
I completely agree and this is the third year in a row of fall starting off warm! Add 3 or 4 degrees on usually in Salem where i live too. So if Portland is 80 that means Salem could be 83 or 84. Ridiculous for early october!
