J-hope has always had the harder side to him (he debuted while wearing a spike-studded mask, lol). But he also wanted to bring happiness. I think newer ARMY just didn't realize his two sides.
Do we know the lyrics...hell yeah. Hangsang is my jam. He performed songs from his first solo album called Hope World as well. You don't know how happy it made me to see the songs performed live. Hope World is a classic album and Jack in the box was no less than a perfect evolvement. Do listen to them throughout your day.

Hobipalooza was just AMAZING! Funny thing, I never particularly liked Hangsang before - didn’t hate, but it just wasn’t a style a gravitated to. It was possibly my favourite part of the entire set, and now a big favourite on my playlist!!!
BTS has live bands in their live concert performances. FYI - This isn't a new style. All three songs you just listened to were on his HOPE WORLD mixtape from 2018. He did Baseline as the first one, then he did Cypher Part 1, then he did Hangsang (Always). You need to listen to his new music. This is not it. I will link it for you again. Yes, that's one of the BTS' rap line's CYPHERS and J-Hope is doing his part of the cypher 🔥
The part of Hangsang where J Hope just ad libs to rapping in the background was preceded by him saying this is Supreme Boy's part. Hangsang is a 4-year-old J Hope song which was done with Supreme Boy rapping a verse. Supreme Boy was an original trainee for BTS but opted out and has been a Big Hit producer since. He also had a brief role in Cypher 2 and 3.

You should start at the beginning of the concert if you go to enjoy bts more channel it has part 1 and part 2 with English subtitles. Also these songs were from his first album in 2018 not the most recent. He started with his new songs at the beginning of the concert.
A lot of the songs are from his mixtape Hope World from 2018. The song you asked about is Hangsang and Supreme Boi is the other vocal.

My advice to you is to check out his newer album, its his first official solo album release. It's called Jack In the Box, and his first Mixtape that he released many years ago called Hope World. He shows many songs from both of these albums. Have fun. Believe it or not 2 out of those 3 songs you just heard are actually from his Hope World mixtape! 💜💚💜

The person you though was either RM or Suga was Supreme Boi who was also on the Cypher introducing each of the three of the guys.

I've been enjoying J-Hopes' show way too much as well! This was an epic show that broke all sorts of sales and attendance records for this festival! You'd enjoy the whole show - Chicken noodle soup with Becky G was cool... Jimin was there too, and is visible enjoying the show from the upper left balcony. :) But seriously, I wish everyone would give all the glory to the GOD! We're in the Last Days for real; so let's all remember that His blood is our ticket to Heaven. It's FREE :) Simply BELIEVE. His blood covers ALL our past present and future sins. This is not new, this is from his former album "Hope World". BTS does not confine themselves to any genre other than positive good music. "Supreme Boi" is on Hang Sang which he says In the video.
