    Love the multiracial, multiethnic beauty of Hispanic culture! Yeah! Let's celebrate indigenous, African and European roots of Hispanics in the Americas. Yes!

    Hispanic heritage is just as important as learning American heritage, people don't know is you are American than chances you have Latino heritage, you have no idea of American history has Latino roots running through your blood,this is something that has been hurried in history just African American history, I'm not going to stop I'm going to dig deep and I'm going to find out the truth,I know I'm my heart of hearts there is something there,we all are going to learn more about what makes us Americans, and i know it has a lot to do with a history of refinement and diversity, a rich history that may can change a nation to think more positive and more family oriented,I love my people but I love how rich and diverse we really are,we can stand to learn a lot from our Latino community ,a Beautiful Beautiful community that is so precious that we have to protect and cherish.,I am black but I love that you are hear,and I will fight for you just as hard as I will fight for my own,you are my own .

    I didn't know there were tamales on Mississippi.
    But I don't agree with "Flor del Toloache" I mean, of course here in Mexico we have the problem of "machismo" but that doesn't mean that there aren't female mariachis, some of the most popular groups have a female singer, and there are female musicians as well; and they don't have to wear skirts, they wear the traditional clothes. Even though they seem to be good I don't quite like the modifications they made of the traditional music, they can play it, but if they begin to mix it with other genres, they're giving the wrong idea of what a mariachi is.

    • @alrey1538
      @alrey1538 6 років тому +4

      That_Canuck_God obviously you don’t know that the term is short from “Latino-American” meaning...of Latino/Hispanic, cultural and/or ethnic descent. Latinos don’t have to be Spaniards (straight European), just as long as they have a cultural and geographic connection such as language and religion and nationality. I know it gets kind of tricky...how can a person of sub-Sahara African ethnicity (Some Dominicans, Puerto-Ricans, Cubans, etc.,), or another of Northern European descent (like some Argentinians)? Well, they were born and brought up within a Hispanic-American/Latino American culture or are descendants of folks who were born in Latin America...Although most Hispanic, I would argue, are part native “Amerindian” and part European (also called Mestizos)...or part Black and European. Even all three! We are not a race or nationality, but a very diverse ethnic group!

    • @TokyoBalletReprise
      @TokyoBalletReprise 6 років тому

      Al Rey I know but to be hispanic you gotta have your origins from spain, a white country. I’d also be considered latino because french originates from Latin.

    • @venamerino2377
      @venamerino2377 6 років тому

      I thought Hispanic and Latino could be used interchangeably but there somewhat different. Hispanic is someone who came from or their family is from a Spanish-speaking country (anywhere in the world), while Latino is specifically those from Latin America.

      @@mrbrainbob5320 aight since you seem to be handicaped ill give you the definiton: "National Hispanic Heritage Month traditionally honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans as we celebrate heritage rooted in all Latin American countries. During this month and throughout the year, the National Park Service and our partners, share history, heritage, and accomplishments of Hispanic and Latino Americans of past and present."
      People from spain are hispanics and dus are by definition included in the hispanic heritage month( Or just to make it clear, since you dont seem to fully understand english americans with spanish ancestry, people that currently live in ameirca and whos families come from spain). I have had mixed feelings about hhm every since at my school a Mexican kid walked out in protest of bhm and I think Hispanic do not understand what black history month was about and why we was having it. So let me tell them why BHM was a struggle for 300 years, it was a celebration 1 of coming out of slavery not to celebrate our heritage. 2. It was to let our children know that they was not oppressed anymore
    3. It was to let our children know of all of the inventions that was made during slavery and all the way to the cell phone
    4. To live your skin color and your hair
    These are the reasons we fought for this month. It was bore out of pain and HHM really adds to that pain,
