I was in the Civil Air Patrol and one of the best motivating factors for me was, everytime you ranked up you got to go on an airplane ride {cessna 172} at the time, so if your a kid that likes aircraft and flying it's a good way to go.
Just got my pilot slot through rotc last week after having watched all your helpful videos throughout the years! Hopefully the flight physical goes well. Thanks again for all the resources.
I’m currently enlisted but considering palace chasing into full time ROTC. I’m planning on getting my PPLs and racking up flight hours as I’m going through school. Any tips for me? Did you do anything extra to make you more competitive? Congratulations and best of wishes in everything!
Hey Mover, just want to let you know you’re one of my favorite UA-camrs. Tied for first right alongside AngryCops. Please, keep up the incredible work. I plan to order some of your books this Friday on payday.
As a retired Navy pilot, flew C-2A's and T-45C's for most of my 3000 hours, this is all good info. I will say the needs of the Navy rules the day. I did very well in primary and got E2/C2...which still requires a 50 NSS and to the right but got drafted into it. Happens with every platform. Regardless which platform, you will like what you fly.
This man speaks truth! I speak by personal experience. I had a heart surgery years ago and needed a waiver for my flying job. Process took months. It was tough. And at times very i felt very impatient. But I was able to get it. Faith was my key! Never give up on ur dreams! Give ur 100% always, that way when you look back you can't regret anything! Been watching his videos for a looong time, even before i enlisted in the world's greatest airforce! Aim High!!! 🇺🇸👍 #MTTYN
Excellent! Great advice "do your homework" and "dont self eliminate" if you truly want it, you will "make them tell you no!" .....thanks for inspiring the next generation of aviators.
As always, appreciate your videos Mover! Your channel has been inspirational and instrumental in my current process to live my dream of serving our great country. Just purchased your Spectre series box set to read before after BMT. Appreciate all you do for the community, from the informational videos to the funny videos. Keep it up sir, make them tell you no!
You're a class act giving your box set away for such a low price. I'm not in quarantine since I'm "essential", so I'll tell you what, when your price goes back up, I'll get it at full price.
Hey mover, I’m in the civil air patrol. I have only just gotten my first promotion and I have decided to work towards getting the Spaatz award and go to the air force academy. You were a key part in my decision and after watching a few of your videos in the plane.
Books are great! Bought book 6 today. Good work in 5. Recommend reading while sitting at home. Oh - and using "Make them tell you no!" as I try to walk after right leg amputation in May 2018. Not there yet.
Mover- congrats on really looking "pro" for Lighting and Audio. You learned, and adapted, quick. At 64, where the fuck were you when I was younger?! You provide an INVALUABLE roadmap to those interested in the services, and flying in particular. #Salute
While it is important to know some things, it is not required to have a PPL to get a slot. PCSM 90 and above helps (although academy guys have much lower PCSM), technical degree helps , GPA 3.0 and above helps, whole person concept REALLY helps. You look at an applicant and after 30 minutes wonder if you could tolerate the guy sitting next to you for a long haul to FJDG. There are a lot of "cadets" who join CAP, get intro flights, solo, gliders and if you progress up to a Cadet/Captain or higher, you get credits for ROTC. Several cadets have come from the Civil Air Patrol; not just for the flying but you are taught leadership, customs and courtesies, various emergency services skills and you go to encampments (basic training). Great program to start with. Your doubt will self eliminate you. If you have some hiccups, assess, improve and redo and show that you can do it, ask questions, show motivation. Don't be afraid to ask the IPs or the ACs. Like Mover said. Do EXACTLY what you are asked. The bare minimum at best. You need to show that you can follow simple instructions; this is where it starts.
MAKE THEM TELL YOU NO! SO RIGHT! I was a flight student in college and my own priorities changed and now I am an attorney who went through law school a few years after college with 3 kids. A lot of people said no, and now they're in the past. My best friend is in the FAA certifying flight training ops and his advice is exactly yours, keep pushing!
A long time ago when I was in HS my Dad took me to Career Day. The Navy recruiter asked me why I was there and I told him I wanted to fly the F-4. After reviewing my transcripts he told me “Son, your eyesight isn’t good enough to fly and your grades aren’t high enough to navigate.” That lit a bonfire under me. Long story short I enjoyed a long and lucrative career in the Corporate world. Make them tell you “no.” It’s not the end of the world and just might be the best damned advice you ever could’ve received, regardless of the path in life you ultimately ended on.
Glad they take LASIK. Early-mid 2000s at least USAF, if you had lasik, tough to impossible to get a lasik waiver. Also waived up to 39 in USAF; I was one of them :)
In Germany it's actually not necessary but extremely helpful to have some flight licenses before applying for fighterpilot. That would be the same in every country.
Mover, your videos are excellent and much appreciated. I've shared quite a few. I'm a former intel puke, served with the 612th TFS (F-16's), devoured a fam flight in the back seat of an F-16D, a highlight of my life. I really appreciate your encouragement for aspiring pilots, particularly the "make them tell you no" philosophy. When I was in (discharged in 1992), we had female pilots in the USAF, but not in combat aircraft. They had just changed the rules to allow that. You could say that our squadron had a "good ol' boy" feel about it, as if women would disrupt things. Our commander (one of the most impressive persons I've ever met) put an end to that, saying that he's flown with many female pilots, and if they passed the training, he would fly with them anytime. And that maybe they just worry they'd have to work harder to compete. I didn't get to see women fly fighters, but I'm curious how that all panned out. Are women now accepted as equals in fighter units? Would you recommend it to, say, your niece?
This is a very helpful video, I have thought of coming a fighter pilot so this is really helpful info. I also started reading the Spectre series and am loving it so far. It is such a great book so far, I almost can't stop reading it, can't wait to read the other books in the series.
Mover, Current situation definitely gives me more time to watch your channel. I have been watching for some time now. Love what you are doing! Just watched your Fini Flight vid. Thank you for your service and being pretty awesome. Always, VR, a fan
I don’t know if this will be seen or not but it dosent matter to me. I have in the last 10 years been encapsulated with anything military. Im not someone that is particular to one branch or the other. I didn’t like history in High School, but as I have gotten older (38 to be exact) I have had a fascination with the military. Wish i had this kind of excitement for the military at a younger age. Love to watch any military videos and luckily came across your channel here on UA-cam. I have really enjoyed the info in every video. I have recently bought the Spectre series on Ebook and have just started reading it. Love it already and cant wait to read when i have free time, considering I have never really had the passion to read. I just want to thank you for your service and everything you do with your information on your UA-cam channel!!!
Hey mover, I had written this whole long reply, basically telling you my story… Not gonna go through it all again just wanted to say I enjoy your videos. Board approved twice for pilot slot. 1 mm kidney stone cost me my FC1 and therefore pilot slot. If you’re interested in me talking about it let me know. Keep up the vids 👍
Hey Mover, took advantage of your offer on the Spectre box set! Awesome stuff man, excellent writing and gripping storyline. I do hate to be that guy but it’s bugging me a wee bit. The Super Tucanos PT6 is made by Pratt and Whitney not Allison hence the PT. Keep up the good work, love your content. Cheers. Iain.
Sir, I saw that. If they come back... I feel that, so many people are overwhelmed at the moment, and airlines alone host so many people's jobs. I know I'd love to fly in general, a fighter more than anything, but I'm happy with simgames for now. I'm praying for the best and thankful I'm in an essential(wait, a what now), low exposure position involving semi-truck tires. (ah, we're at this point, I care about minimal viral exposure now... I think we're all a little new to this level of viral pandemic. This is frighting at times... but we'll make it) Your videos always give me hope to fly, still, through all this stuff going on. I'm not losing hope and you better not either. We'll make it and air travel will remain in some capacity. It might not look the same in the long run but lets get there first. You never know what you might still fly. I'm 26, from Oklahoma, stressed out, and still some day, I want to be licensed to fly, and able to fly in something frequently, we'll see. I'm quite tired but it felt good to leave a rambling comment before bed. Have a good night all! Never lose hope. o/
Mover, one thing i didnt learn as a helo mechanic in the marines obviously was the pressurization and oxygen system in fixed wing aircraft and ive always been curious of how that works. I would very much appreciate if you could do a video on that. If you have im sorry i overlooked it. Thanks
Hi! My name is Dmitry! I'm accidentally found your channel about half of an year ago. I tried several times to get to your Facebook group but with out result, that's why I'm writing to you. My main question is: what are the physical requirements to start fighters career? Also I've heard that the PT (physical test) will be changed from this or future year, could you give some info about it(what are the exercises and what are the highest scores for them). I'm very appreciate the job you are doing for such dreamers like me. Best regards, Dmitry
Throughout your career have you ever been to oshkosh or any other air show as a static display or actual flight display. How do pilots get chosen to be at air shows as an aerial demonstration or simple static display. Is oshkosh the holy grail amongst military aviators as far as air shows. Jw 🍻 cheers from Wisconsin
Asthma blows (pun intended). I've had it all my life, it's not remotely debilitating but it's there. As a kid I sorely wanted to be a military pilot but never even tried due to the asthma issue. Maybe I should have tried to make them tell me no back then. I wish I could save this v-blog for my boys, both are quite young but have the interest in aviation now. If that should persist, I'd love for them to hear this in high school. You're a positive influencer Mover, keep it up!
Back in the late 90''s I'd kind of reached a peak working in the financial markets as a senior account exec and wanted a change of career. As I have always loved aviation and aeronautics as an interest and hobby.I decided to approach the R.A.A.F. (now all military, here in Australia, is combined called A.D.F.) As I was approaching 30, the chances were pretty slim at becoming a pilot. I went to 3 interviews and they suggested becoming a signals officer (my grandfather worked in that field during WWII as acting wing commander and my father was an aircraft engine engineer during WWII)They were kind of pushing me into that direction but I wanted to fly. I eventually said thank you for your time and walked away and went back to the F.Mkts at another firm. Then a little later I received a call at my apartment, one weekend, from one of our FA 18 pilots (whom I'd met at a party in Albert Park Melbourne VIC, as they were renting an apartment in the same suburb I was residing in during the Australian F1 race) He was pretty honest with me, for which I totally understood, That at my age and the costs involved. I was pretty much too old for them to get financial cost return for service here in OZ. However he did suggest something interesting to me. He suggested I join the Navy and fly helicopters then later attempt to cross train to fixed wing aircraft in the R.A.A.F. or Navy (I was too old to become a fast jet pilot, yet I could still have the chance to become a fixed wing pilot. Me being ignorant and a little stubborn said thank you for the call in a polite manner and we ended the call. I truly regret not taking that path he suggested. My point here is if you are a bit older and want to fly for the military and get the relevant licenses. There are avenues to persue your goals. That call was a rare event as they don't usually make calls like that. The special thing about this regret is it would have meant two things to me. 1) I could have flown in the R.A.A.F. 2) It would have made 3 generations in the R.A.A.F. My popper was one of the first R.A.A.F. officers to join when he R.A.A.F. during it's inception (previously called, under Britton, The Australian Flying Corp. I am so happy i found your channel C.W. and am addicted to it for lack of another word. You are honest, concise and educational. Thank you for putting in all your efforts. It's fan - tastic and I've become one of your greatest fans :) Cheers mate and joining law enforcement must have been quite a transition althogh yor thinking and training would have helped. Again cheers and keep up the good work both on your channel and your current occupation.
I’m shipping out May 11th still with the virus out break to be a 2a5x1 in the airforce basically I’ll be a crew chief but I really aspire to be a pilot and this channel has givin some motivation can someone or you maybe make a video for us enlisted talking about a pathway to a pilot I have looked into some of the enlisted to officer programs like SOAR but am struggling to find details from people that have done it I wanted to enlist to get college paid for and not have to have my father do it
Excellent advice, learn this( now) don`t be a douche even on forums!GPA`s,stay out of trouble, volunteer, attention to detail,Measure for Measure,Mover, given from the heart!Thank You
I'm currently a university student and i am thinking of going for the army or navy helicopter pilot's path when i finish my degree. Would you say that these standards would be a generalisation of different militaries across the world for both rotary and fixed wing aircraft as i am not in the US
How does someone in the early 40's get in to fly?? I'm 41 with a CPL plenty of hours to be competitive for the airlines, or a part 135 gig. I'm actually applying with US Customs for an AIA (Air Interdiction Agent) spot. My age is waived with veterans preference. I do have a 4 year degree, yet have never heard of anyone close to 40 or over getting back in USAF or Navy and being able to fly. Would love to know more about that.
Hey Mover, love your videos. Could you please create a video commenting on the UFO sighting by ex Navy pilot David Fravor. When I saw the video recorded by the F-18 fighter I was blown away. What on Earth could those "tic tacs" be and how often do pilots see unexplainable stuff like this while flying and your general thoughts on the sighting. Thank you and love your work! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Nimitz_UFO_incident
FWIW: TRAINING in the US as a NATO partner has nothing to do with SERVING in the US military, especially pre-qualifications for such. The "foreign students" have been doing so w/ our Air Force...since the 1950's. How do I know? Because my dad told me about it....and he got his fighter wings in 1952.
For a Mover Mailbag: I don’t know how “in the know” you may be on this, but I’m still pretty curious for your thoughts: What do you think of the recently announced Block 70 Viper? I think the...I want to call them “shoulder pods” look a bit odd. But it sounds like it has a bunch of newer avionics that might be interesting. Any thoughts?
I found the ADHD question interesting. It's been awhile, but I think most fighter pilots (me included) would have been diagnosed with ADHD if that was a thing in those days. In fact, the general personality types run the gamut, but tend to favor those with at least hyper activity. The attention deficit part may also be a benefit especially in busy air-to-air environment. To me, attention deficit is a social construct ascribed to people who are just super aware of and reacting to everything that's going on around them. In a dogfight that's a pretty good idea! If you've ever sat in a single-seat fighter you'll see that it can get pretty busy and having an heightened awareness of what's going on with your jet as well as outside your cockpit is a huge advantage for those of us with what society has labeled a "problem."
Thank you for this information, Mover. I am currently in DEP for enlisted Air Force with a bachelor's and a competitive GPA (3.0+). I wanted to join enlisted to increase my chances of getting a pilot slot with a Guard unit. Should I discharge from DEP and start applying to units and would this type of DEP discharge hurt my chances? I know most people recommend that I talk to my recruiter, but he is quite nonchalant and I prefer to ask someone who has gone from "street-to-seat." Thank you in advance for all of your content and potential answer.
My refractive error for each eye is -8.00. Is that waiverable? This video and the waiver guide said “correctable to 2020.” Does this imply that I’m still good to go as long as I have contacts or lasik? I’ve looked into it and I honestly have no idea if a -8.00 is waiverable or not. Thanks.
Other than not being able to fly, not being able to go to the gym, and not being able to do physical therapy for my doggo that just had surgery, it's business as usual.
Back in 2007, I went to a recruiting station and inquired about CWO as I expressed interest in becoming a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot. The recruiters said the Army was the only branch that allowed civilians to enter the military with a CWO career path. However, they both kept saying the selection process is discouragingly tough for civilians and recommended I enlist as an E-1. I kept telling them I already finished my Bachelor's degree and wanted to go in as an officer if CWO didn't work out (which they also discouraged). Their vibe felt like signing up an E-1 would mean higher commissions and/or bonuses for them. What are your thoughts on this type of recruiting Mover?
Hi Mover, love the channel, quick question: I know your a bit biased (I'm glad you are), but is there ANY country that has a plane in their arsenal that can match or is superior to U.S. fighter jets? I realize the pilots and tactics make all the difference, but talking strictly technically plane to plane. Thx for your service.
-Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering with the highest honors -USAF Nuclear and Missile Operations Officer during 10 years -Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering earn at the Air Force Institute of Technolgy -Currently a NASA Engineer
I saw something I thought you'd enjoy... Two RC planes. On UA-cam one Tomcat with swing wing and an A10 with brrrrrrrrrrt. AND chaff ... Remote control A10 with working chaff . Ought to check it out.
Question: Why are all weapons officers not given flight controls, HUD's, and landing training? How is ejecting an unconscious pilot and destroying a multi-million dollar airplane preferable to delivering them safely home? And if the weapons officer does not have controls or training, are they at least able to program an auto-pilot to get them back to friendly territory before ejecting?
Quick question. Do you think an ANG Unit would take into consideration the “standing” or “reputation” of the institution from which my college degree is from. For example, would an applicant with a degree from Stanford appeal more to a unit than an applicant from a community college (obviously exaggerated), or is it solely GPA?
I can’t speak for any other units but from what I’ve seen from mine and what I’ve heard from friends in other units is it depends. It seems like most units are not going to just zero in on your resume or one piece of it. The big thing to remember about interviewing with Guard/Reserve units is they’re looking to build a long term relationship with you. So you might interview against someone from a “better” school but if they don’t fit in with the people in the unit and you do, you’ve got a better chance of getting hired. Also, make sure that the unit you’re interviewing with is a good fit for you too. Hope this helps, good luck.
Hello.. so my dream has always been to be a US fighter pilot.. but there are a few problems.. I wasn't born in the USA but have been living here for 5 years (I have citizenship), I heard they only let people who are born in the USA be a fighter pilot.. Also, I have myopia... I read online that if somebody does an eye surgery due to bad vision, that could disqualify him from flying... Is there anyway of me reaching my drea..? it said *could* disqualify.... not *will* disqualify..
@@ezost5544 I'm not far where exactly you are as far as age of education right now but as far as making the cut, your best bet is simply not to fuck up. No DUI's, no drugs, no domestic violence. As long as you have decent grades, (a 3.0 GPA in college will be sufficient) and exercise enough for a good PFT score you can get selected for an Air slot while you're a freshman in college. The Marines is the only branch that is able to give out air slots to college freshman, you can apply directly to be a pilot. ROTC and Academy folks won't know until their 3rd of 4th year. For the ASTB I got a $20 study guide from Amazon that honestly caught me up with all the math lessons I forgot about. (I was a business major). My score was a 6/6/6/, pretty low but honestly the selection board doesn't care about your ASTB score, just that you passed. Just keep up your interests in aviation such as watching videos such as these and use it for motivation. And it'll be a lot easier than you think.
@@ezost5544 What point in the pipeline are you right now? Where (location) are you and what are you currently doing (meaning - have you begun the flight school process....pre-flight stuff / ground school / flying the censna or T-6 ?) If you let me know, i can get the best advice from my son.
Fred S Currently a senior in high school, haven’t done any actual flight procedures but I have put in a couple hundred hours in sim games like DCS and I can get advice from my dad who flew helicopters during Katrina and many other major hurricanes. Talked to a few recruiters but haven’t really gone anywhere yet, currently in southeast NM and planning to go to college at UNM for health like nursing or something of the like
Hey mover, I’m above 20/40 and am thinking navy. Can I get laser eye prior to applying to ocs? Or am I screwed because my vision is not 20/40 uncorrected? Thanks
Question: if I go ROTC route and I want to join the AF as a pilot, and the college I want to go to offers Army ROTC, am I committed to the Army or will the AF accept me? There is a cross town agreement thing that allows me to go to one college but also go to another college for AFROTC. Basically, if I want to go AF do I need to do AFROTC? No where on the internet tells me so far... thanks!
Hiiii :) i want to become a fighter pilot in germany (guess who inspired me ^^). in germany we have the typhoon-jet. its an delta wing aircraft... i wanted to know if you know anything about the handling with delta wings. (aaand i found an awsome game called ace combat 7. i never saw you playing this so i thought it could be something usefull for your yt channel. its like Need for speed just there are fighter jets instead of cars. it even includes my favorite aircraft F/A - 18 super hornet.)
So I gathered if you have a American-Canadian dual citizenship you have to become an America citizen? I'm confused, are you not already an American citizen? please help me out
After graduating with honors from university with a bachelor of science in 1986, the first thing I did was to head down to the navy recruiter to sign up to become a fighter pilot. My hopes were shot down when I found out that because I finished college at age 34 I was too old to qualify to become a fighter pilot. I was unaware of waivers. They did offer to make me an officer on a nuclear submarine, but my dream was to fly fighter aircraft, Wound up going to medical school instead. Now happily retired. My dad was a waist gunner in a B26 in WW2 and shot down behind German lines. He was a member of the Caterpillar Club. In retrospect I believe I would go for the Air National Guard.
I'm a huge screw up and more importantly I'm transgender but I stopped taking hormones a while ago, largely in the hopes of getting to fly again someday. I did one semester of ROTC in college and then got kicked out but now I've finished my PhD in physics and I have ~200 hrs in a Cessna earlier in grad school. I'm hoping I have a chance but it feels like this will not be easy. Hopefully "I have a friggin physics PhD and a private pilots license already" will be a good enough argument soon.
I wanna ask a ? I’m dating a military guy and he asked me to buy him steam cards for extra meals and to pay for him to get a plane ticket, and to pay for his documents so he said it’s $1,000 for the ticket & $1,000 about his documents he is in Afghanistan

Great video Mover!! So thankful for you, Deuce as well and everyone else!
This is a very helpful video, I have thought of coming a fighter pilot so this is really helpful info. I also started reading the Spectre series and am loving it so far. It is such a great book so far, I almost can't stop reading it, can't wait to read the other books in the series.
When I was in the AF It feel like it was a one mistake military. Lot of dudes kicked out for DUI.
Do a review of END RUN
Thank you sir you just gave me hope!
Cheers.

Look this quarantine is driving me crazy
Never lose hope. o/
I’m so glad you made this I’m planning on joining and becoming a pilot
I love your video. A lot of love from Malaysia. Be safe.
My main question is:
what are the physical requirements to start fighters career?
Also I've heard that the PT (physical test) will be changed from this or future year, could you give some info about it(what are the exercises and what are the highest scores for them).
I'm very appreciate the job you are doing for such dreamers like me.
Best regards,
Dmitry
Throughout your career have you ever been to oshkosh or any other air show as a static display or actual flight display. How do pilots get chosen to be at air shows as an aerial demonstration or simple static display. Is oshkosh the holy grail amongst military aviators as far as air shows. Jw 🍻 cheers from Wisconsin
One of your best videos in my opinion thx this helped me clear up some questions I had!
"How to be selected to fly the Air Force One'' Video... please.
I'm considering joining the AF even though I've had ADHD and autism. I cannot allow for anyone to stop me except for those who are high in power.
Bought your ebooks. This is not for me though but it's for my son. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I’m shipping out May 11th still with the virus out break to be a 2a5x1 in the airforce basically I’ll be a crew chief but I really aspire to be a pilot and this channel has givin some motivation can someone or you maybe make a video for us enlisted talking about a pathway to a pilot I have looked into some of the enlisted to officer programs like SOAR but am struggling to find details from people that have done it I wanted to enlist to get college paid for and not have to have my father do it
Ok although I'm not living in the U.S. all that info is transversal and the core principles are interesting!

I'm currently a university student and i am thinking of going for the army or navy helicopter pilot's path when i finish my degree. Would you say that these standards would be a generalisation of different militaries across the world for both rotary and fixed wing aircraft as i am not in the US
Thank you Sensei 🙏💙💪🇺🇲
Hi Mover, would you explain why the viper upgrades are referred as block xx. ie; block 50 and how many different blocks are there in the viper?
How does someone in the early 40's get in to fly?? I'm 41 with a CPL plenty of hours to be competitive for the airlines, or a part 135 gig. I'm actually applying with US Customs for an AIA (Air Interdiction Agent) spot. My age is waived with veterans preference. I do have a 4 year degree, yet have never heard of anyone close to 40 or over getting back in USAF or Navy and being able to fly. Would love to know more about that.
Hi love your vids what do you think about the raf red arrows
thanks for the motivation :))

Any personal advice for getting a better score on the ASVAB? What’s also the ASVAB requirements for becoming a pilot.
Dutch f16 pilots, have almost 50% of their training in the u.s (texas) so there are somewhat similarities
For a Mover Mailbag:
I don’t know how “in the know” you may be on this, but I’m still pretty curious for your thoughts: What do you think of the recently announced Block 70 Viper?
I know most people recommend that I talk to my recruiter, but he is quite nonchalant and I prefer to ask someone who has gone from "street-to-seat."
Thank you in advance for all of your content and potential answer.
Delayed Entry is a can of worm, recruiters in general will recommend against it. A bachelor degree in what?
PDB Long Prelaw
Hey mover can you fire a shot when on the ground in f16
Meu sonho era ser piloto de caça.
Dont know if you've ever been asked this before but have you ever been interested in flying for the Blue Angels or any other demonstration teams?
My refractive error for each eye is -8.00. Is that waiverable? This video and the waiver guide said “correctable to 2020.” Does this imply that I’m still good to go as long as I have contacts or lasik? I’ve looked into it and I honestly have no idea if a -8.00 is waiverable or not. Thanks.
Hey mover, how’s quarantine going?
Other than not being able to fly, not being able to go to the gym, and not being able to do physical therapy for my doggo that just had surgery, it's business as usual.
@@CWLemoine Dude- that's what a fucking Vette is for. THERAPY. Time for some tracktime.
Therapy for me, but not very useful for rehabilitating my pup unless I tie his leash to one of the mirrors. 😂
@@CWLemoine sounds like a win win situation tbh
Commissions and bonuses? ? Not in the military Skull.
Depends on the class of aircraft you want to match

When I was a kid a physiologist said I would make a good circus clown. He wasn't that far off.
but what about contacts?
Yay
Hello.. so my dream has always been to be a US fighter pilot.. but there are a few problems..
For those of you trying to go Marine Pilot, I'm in that pipeline right now. AMA
Hey, saw your post... Where are you at in the pipeline? I'm NOT a pilot, but my son is a Marine Pilot, so was curious. Thanks for all you do!
0621 Hertz any tips on what to study and do to best make the cut?
Thanks

Awesome!
Which one is better? Fighter vs commercial pilot?
Fighter. All day long, every day, twice on Sunday. Would not trade military flying for anything.

No where on the internet tells me so far... thanks!
Yes. Army ROTC will get you into the Army.

How boring is a cross country flight in a 737 passenger flight compared to coming from f-16's and f-18's?
Depends on the person you're flying with. But yeah, it's pretty much just DME for dollars.
Is it possible to be a pilot with some retinal holes Sir?
What were your astigmatism numbers?
Hiiii :) i want to become a fighter pilot in germany (guess who inspired me ^^). in germany we have the typhoon-jet. its an delta wing aircraft... i wanted to know if you know anything about the handling with delta wings.

can you help me get into the U.S Airforce please
The real question is a bachelor degree in aeronautical science worth it ?
So I gathered if you have a American-Canadian dual citizenship you have to become an America citizen? I'm confused, are you not already an American citizen? please help me out
You can't have dual citizenship. You would have to renounce your Canadian citizenship.
I have a question too: Does fighter pilots carry guns?
Yes, they carry a pistol and are trained to use it
You should review the game DCS F18C DLC
Done.
Do pilots go through basic training/boot camp?
No. OTS or OCS (and TBS for Marines)
I wanna ask a ? I’m dating a military guy and he asked me to buy him steam cards for extra meals and to pay for him to get a plane ticket, and to pay for his documents so he said it’s $1,000 for the ticket & $1,000 about his documents he is in Afghanistan
