How to dismantle Diravi from Citroen XM for seal replacement

  • I am really sorry about my poor camera work and I hope that this video is still helpful.
    Even though the inner housing of the Diravi stays in the car and is tricky to work with, I think that this way is much easier than taking the whole rack off.

    Torques for assembly:
    14mm nuts 28Nm
    18mm bolt 70Nm
    24mm “nut” 60-65Nm
    Inner tie rod end 50Nm
    Tie rod end 45Nm

    Really good video! Sooner or later we all need to do this. Thanks for sharing. Good to know it´s not an engine out-job. Or at least I hope it´s not on my 24v. Well, it should only be the exhaust that makes it worse on the 24v. Again, thanks for sharing.

      Thank you! This whole Diravi thing was the main reason why I started this channel. When you know what you are doing, this is not that hard job to do. I hope that this and my first video gives people enough confidence to try it themselves!
      I haven’t seen 24v from underneath, but I’m guessing that the exhaust pipe from the first bank is in the way?

      The kit is from CX Basis and link can be found from my firts video. That that replacement seal in the video is made by finnish company that specializes on hydraulics
