I love this build, I borrowed it from one of your previous videos. So much fun, and the psychological effect is no joke. Favorite one was being pushed by a quad LBX Kodiak, only for me to promptly cut his side torso off with the lasers. You've never seen a Kodiak dive for cover so fast haha
True but I also hate when people don't stay to support the assaults you do have going in with you. Leads to alot of them just slapping long range on them and sitting back....

This build is a lot of fun to play under the right circumstances but... If the enemy pushes aggressively you're as good as dead or if you get a fearless light mech on you. The heat scale just effectively ends you. However in a pokey firefight or holding a line type of situation it's fantastic fun. And of course to watch in a video it's really good too. In-game I prefer a more versatile build. Thanks for the videos Bara.

Love that you're doing daily uploads, you made me get back into mwo and give MW5 another chance, seems to have impolroved a lot since release. Keep it up!
I've been running that build since you presented it but I was most successfull with weapons groups the put the left amd the right torso öasers on mouse 1 and mouse 2 respectively. Instead of alphas I can left-right volley and some times even a left-right-left on a target when it is stunned by the first two volleys. Of course putting the HLL on 3 and the mediums on 4.
Bara, could you set up an automatic thing so that anytime you are talking to your team/over the chat that a yellow dot (or some other indicator) pops up in the upper right corner (or something)? It would make it more obvious when watching when you are talking to them. Wonderful vid as always!
I usually have a more mid-range style, so to me range=damage (due to falloff). I'll only use HMLs for smaller mechs that can't mount the number/tonnage of lasers for equivalent damage.
I don't know if you read youtube messages, but if you had to recommend a Hero unit to buy - what would be best for someone who prefers burst damage and hit and run tactics? I want to either disarm someone in one hit from the front or side to help my team or even outright take them out from behind.
Good matches... but what’s PGI’s rationale for how the matchmaker works these days? That tonnage disparity in the first match was a bit crazy, even though the lighter team won.
Yeah some time's it's bad. Have had matches where enemy team is 4 Assaults and 2 Heavies deep, and My team is 4 Lights, 4 Mediums, 3 Heavy, and just one Assault, or a 4th Heavy. Once it was 4 Lights and 6 Meds, 2 Heavy, and the other team had 6 Assaults. They are no win situations usually, even with decent players. Idk why PGI does it... Super weird.
@@Kyzrath Whatever bro. I have too, not the point. Point is when yer in that light, and 6 assaults are charging you down because they killed the rest of yer team, yer still going to loose. I don't care if I get 5 kills in a Panther or Commando, I want to win the match.
Why the Inner Sphere Hunchbacks get no Jump Jets and the Clanners do? I'll never know. Would love to have Jump Jets on My two Hunchbacks. I've moved to the Vindicator and Dervish more now because of it. Survivability is much higher with the better mobility. Love the Hunchback too. Ah well...
@@gavinrad1 As the Hunchback is My favorite Mech... No, I am not. Battletech variants have Jump Jets, and they are Inner Sphere Mechs produced by the FWLM, DCMS, and LCAF.
Soft spot for the Hunchback IIC ever since the card game. When the flavor text uses the phrase "apocalyptic firepower", you know you are in for a fun time. Slow, weak armor, limited ammo? WHO CARES!? Walking delete button.
just came back after 2 years for the cauldron patch. Glad to be following baradul content again.
So ready for this patch and future patches. Mobility changes, map updates, and mech re-scaling over the next few months. Let's go.

I've noticed the new meta is, "hang back, watch your team get destroyed"
Pretty sure people in the beta in 2014 already patented this strategy.
and for some reason assaults are the worst offenders of this

That first match was a complete mess and I love it.
I do basically this with my mad dog/vulture. 4 heavy med and 2 heavy large. Gotta be patient with the refire rate but it does work

Not immediately charging the center of Canyon is the sign of having smart pilots on your team. Follow their lead.
the single gaus raven has piqued my interest that is so hilarious!
It's always a tricky choice between hml and erml. You lose close range alpha damage, but your alpha can be fully applied at a longer range.
I usually have a more mid-range style, so to me range=damage (due to falloff). I'll only use HMLs for smaller mechs that can't mount the number/tonnage of lasers for equivalent damage.

Replace HLL with ERML for better heat management and longer engagement range.

oh did a build kinda like this one Haven was doing Zone-tan as a waifu mech
got a similar hunchback IIc. its nickname is moneyshot :D
Which build do you find to be better, The 2 heavy lasers and 4 heavy meds or 2 heavy lasers and 6 er meds? Similar damage and heat.
I’d say the HLL + ERML. The optimal ranges line up much better, which means you don’t have to be shoving your HMLs down their throat for full damage.
Heavy large and Medium pulse for two pulse burns when a heavy is ready.
Huge damage and dps
how does one download and use the sound mod you have it's great
also could you do a shadowhawk 2d next, i got one and don't know what i should do with it
